The room was spacious enough for a solo stay (there were two single beds pushed together) and very clean. I was a bit worried because I had heard that the bathroom was small, but it was perfectly fine for me, possibly because I’m petite.
It was a little disappointing that there was no kettle in the hotel, but you can get hot water from the front desk if you ask. If I visit Aachen again, I would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioning wasn’t working well. Asked for room changed not allowed as receptionist says it’s not the aircon but outside weather. It was rather late, lazy to argue. So didn’t sleep at all for the whole night and check out very early due to feeling very stuffy. Paid so much but getting a lousy air conditioning who didn’t actually work and sleepless night.

There is a chinese / asian receptionist that attended to us around 8pm on 18 Dec when we were checking in. We thought he was particularly rude in his expressions and sentences and has a condescending tone. In addition there is no complimentary water being provided which is usually provided by other hotels.

Very budget friendly option in Aachen. Rooms are clean and spacious. Booked a family size room with one double and one single bed.
