The reception was a bit cold and seemed to be about getting our money as soon as possible. The room is OK but the bed was two singles pushed together and the shower was tiny, like something from a student flat. We had a TV with Netflix and other apps on it but were told it didn't have a WiFi connection, which it did, as I managed to connect it myself. Breakfast was OK but if you want to eat a decent evening meal then try the restaurant on the other side of the playground, where the food is excellent. Can't really recommend this place but we didn't use the wellness so maybe that's worth it.

We booked a room with cancellation insurance. We had to make use of the cancellation because of hospital admission of our baby boy by the end of july'25 during our scheduled stay at the hotel.

Several several weeks and reminders later we haven't received our advance payment back yet.

The telephone numbers on the website don't work.

Amazing location, great value for the money, fantastic service. All of these made it a fantastic weekend destination for us. We'll be back one day for sure.

Nice hotel. Indeed the rooms need some renovation. The breakfast was quite OK (for a Dutch hotel :) ) the stuff is amazing, they are always available and helpful. But by far the best thing about this hotel is its sauna. You basically reserve and the whole sauna area, with 4 different sauna rooms, jacuzzi and showers. Is for your private use in that hour. This was wonderful experience. We would come back, thank you de lange man ;)

During our stay, we discovered a few important aspects worth mentioning for future guests. Firstly, it's advisable to request a room at the back of the hotel to avoid the noise from the terrace and passing traffic, which can be quite disruptive. One significant drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which made the rooms a bit uncomfortable, especially during warmer days. Although the rooms were clean, they felt quite dated and could benefit from some modernization. Additionally, we noticed a troubling number of flies, even on the food at the buffet and breakfast, which was quite off-putting. The staff at the hotel is fairly young and, while they try their best, the overall sense of hospitality was lacking. It seemed like they could use more training in customer service to enhance the guest experience. The location of the hotel is undeniably beautiful and holds a lot of potential. However, we felt that the price-quality ratio was not well balanced. Despite the picturesque surroundings, the overall experience did not quite justify the cost. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The selection of beers, however, was limited, which was a bit disappointing. We did appreciate the secure space provided for storing bicycles, which is a nice touch for those traveling with bikes. The bathroom facilities were basic and could use some updates as well. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the combination of issues we encountered means that we wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel, especially considering the price.

Pretty good.
Pretty good. Nice decor. Slow check in. Sauna good but had to pay. Good buffet. Nice room but no shower gel in the room. Would stay again.

This hotel was warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived. The reception girls were great and a welcome cocktail was proved as a gift. We regularly drive from the UK to our place in Austria and this place was a first for us as a stop over. Lovely room(11) a wonderful buffet dinner(beef, Salmon, pork, pasta and more) and a fantastic salad bar. Cheap beer from the bar and delicious house Mosel also at exceptionally low prices. We booked half board and it was certainly worth it. The only thing some people may not like is the open plan toilet and shower in the bedroom, admittedly behind glass, but some may feel a lack of privacy. But after 34 years of marriage-it didn’t bother us🤣. We will happily return to this little gem.
