My family stayed at the Wasserturm hotel for three weeks over the Christmas holidays and had a lovely time. This was our second time staying at the hotel in 2025 and everything was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Most staff members spoke multiple languages which was very helpful with our international family members. The rooms were very spacious and luxurious. I highly recommend the two story suites with amazing views of the city. Cleaning staff were thorough and helpful as we were traveling with our small pets. They provided us with small bowls for food and water for our furry companions. The food at both the top floor bar/restaurant and downstairs lounge was delicious and came with ample portions. We will return again and again!

Decent hotel and the rooms are quite nice. I was upgraded to the duplex suite. It was cool, but there was no heat downstairs, so it was way too cold. Sadly, the top floor (where the bed is) was extremely hot with no windows or air, so it was impossible to sleep. The room door also had trouble closing. The only way to properly close it was to slam it. So all day and night you just hear slamming doors everywhere in the hotel.

Considering the price tag, it’s not even close to worth it.

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Wasserturm Köln. Everything was very clean, well organized, and smooth from check-in to check-out.

The design of the hotel is truly unique and makes the stay feel special—you really notice that this is not a standard hotel. The breakfast was very rich and high quality, with a great variety and excellent service.

Overall, a great experience, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Wasserturm in Cologne. We were here for the Christmas markets and the location was perfect to walk to all markets and see the whole city. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop bar was a great way to finish out each day. The rooms were also very clean and offered the basics of what you need. The only downside was there weren’t many food options near the hotel, which wasn’t an issue as we walked everywhere, but if this is important to you, you should know. Lastly, they did not allow for early check in and after a long day of travel, I was disappointed in this, but I understood why and we made the best of the city!

Location is close to the mall and only a 15-20 minute walk to the main cathedral. Staff were helpful and kind. Morning breakfast far exceeded my expectations.
Our room was excellent and came with a freshly baked cookie when we checked in.

The bar on the top floor is really cool. The design is interesting and they have a deck that wraps around with great views. The bar is expensive, but the quality is excellent.

Parking is a bit tight and there is a poorly marked sidewalk going down the parking structure that can and will eat your tires.

The elevators are a weird complaint, one I don’t think I’ve had before. They’re very old and slow and for whatever reason they don’t have a call back, so they just stay on random floors. Going up from the lobby can take awhile especially if you’re on a high floor.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for its location and quality.

The hotel’s round-tower design is striking and gives it a unique charm. The location can be a little tricky to find, especially if you’re driving, as there’s no temporary parking right at the entrance — you’ll need to park nearby and walk a short distance. The bathroom and shower are quite compact and not separated, which might feel a bit tight for those who prefer more space. Overall, the service was polite and efficient, though not particularly warm.

The room was well soundproofed, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very professional and enthusiastic. The breakfast service was very good. The road to the cathedral is relatively easy to walk, but be careful not to be fooled by Google and Baidu maps and take the wrong road. It is more correct to follow the general direction.
