I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. The property was absolutely beautiful (beautiful long drive up to the property, very well kept, etc). The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was great. Breakfast buffet was excellent with many great options. It was very quiet and the rooms were spacious for Europe. We had privacy but also had the ability to socialize in the commons areas. There is a restaurant (and spa services) on property available if you so choose as well as a beautiful commons area with games and books and an outdoor bar/patio area. We dined in the hotel and the dinner was fantastic (a little overpriced for what we got but delicious food). We did not partake in the spa services but would definitely stay here again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful but…. Unfortunately, my wellness experience was very disappointing due to several ongoing issues, mainly related to renovations and hygiene. Large parts of the sauna area were under renovation, which significantly limited access to both saunas and cold showers. The steam sauna was not available at all during my visit, which should have been clearly communicated in advance. Cleanliness was a major concern. There was visible mould throughout the wet areas, particularly in the lower corners of the building. Cobwebs were also present inside some of the saunas, which is unacceptable for a wellness facility. Disinfection cleaning of the showers was carried out during visiting hours. Due to the extremely high chlorine content used, the nearby saunas became unusable, causing burning eyes and excessive tearing. When I raised this issue with the cleaning staff, I was told that cleaning was not permitted outside visiting hours and therefore had to take place while guests were present. Additionally, the cleaning staff were wearing regular clothing in a non-textile area, which made guests uncomfortable and did not align with wellness etiquette. To add to this, there were not enough towels available for guests, further impacting the overall experience. Given the price and expectations of a wellness hotel, these issues were disappointing. With better planning, hygiene standards, and guest-focused scheduling, this facility could significantly improve.

Overpriced.

Generally the price would not match the value the hotel provides.
The hotel itself has great potential, however the cleanliness was lacking.
The sauna facilities were great.
Breakfast was generally pretty good, they had a vegan section clearly signed however there weren't so many options available there.

The room we first received was also generally ok except there was a strong unpleasant oder from the bathroom that even with the door closed, rung strongly through the whole room.
We had to keep the window open the whole night to make it bearable. For this first night only a 'spray' was offered. After raising this issue multiple times we eventually got a new room for the second evening.
For this rather unenjoyable experience all that was given was a 3.50 euro refund on a coffee purchase.

We have given 3 stars for rooms based on the second room.

Team meeting with larger group. FOod was good in the buffet and also breakfast. Rooms lack of ventilation and or airconditioning system that is....well "mildly" outdated in 2025. Saunas are.....well not saunas in the meaning that are developed and made in Finland. Maasauna does not have a "kiuas" or a stove to through water on but a "fireplace" and its....well mildly hot.....have ever seen this in Finland. But if someone likes it, great. Rooms are quite large. Price is low. Quiet hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. The services were top-notch, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, clean, and set in a serene, forested location that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s an ideal spot not only for business trips but also for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend it!

Poor do
Nice hotel , but certain staff members need a chase up , miserable ignorant bar staff and maybe a bit of common courtesy of being able to book in by changing the language setting on the silly tablets from German and also the food menus etc etc ,

Sorry but this hole sadly let us down in many ways , ah well, for me I’d never go back
