I stayed in Kuehns Muehle during the Rheinsteig hike. It's on the hiking trail, so no ups and downs to reach a village

We stayed in one of two rooms that open directly onto a terrace with the parking lot/driveway immediately in front of that, so it's sort of wheelchair accessible (I unfortunately didn't look closely at the room entrance to be able to rate it more accurately)

The rest of the pension, as well as the reception, breakfast room and restaurant, is reachable via steps to a charming patio one flight up (it's pretty but, unless there's a lift somewhere that I didn't spot, not wheelchair accessible)

It was loud very early in the morning due to construction work outside our windows

Great price for the quality of the hotel. The rooms are very tidy and modern, for us the most significant benefit was the sauna and swimming pool that are open till late evening

Still, since the hotel is next to the main road it can get quite noisy, even at like 6 AM and the windows cannot eliminate the noise from cars driving below you. Definitely worth visiting again!

I chose it completely by chance and it turned out to tick all boxes for quiet, relax service and comfort. Nice spa & indoor pool, which I did not expect, having overlooked those details during my booking 😊

Great location. Nice location. We didn’t need a car, because it’s only ten minutes walk from train station and ten minutes walk to old town, just across the bridge. Excellent breakfast and comfortable bed.

The only thing that could be improved is the dining room's furnishings (but that's a matter of taste). The available parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars) are also a plus

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. It's romantic in its rustic way

More than enough storage wardrobe space for belongings and shoes. The rooms also come with a long shared balcony, so I imagine spring and summer, it is really nice staying here

Excellent stay where our room overlooked the Christmas Market. Our room was very comfortable and the ceiling was beautifully painted. The ceiling looked as if it belonged in a castle

The bath tub was very deep and had a shower attached to the wall. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Schwäbisch Hall is a lovely little town and this hotel is in the midst of the older part

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the old town. Quiet location, big car park, not noisy. Rooms are a good size, clean, aircon for the hot days. We had room 14, balcony just above the entry way into the residence area

You can open the window if you wish. Breakfast was good, bread rolls, ham, cheeses, yogurt, fruit salad, boiled eggs, salad, juice, tea, coffee. Dinner is lovely, plenty of salad to eat first, then great German food

Small and Friendly Guesthouse The hotel is situated at the end of a road and is in a very quiet location. We parked at the bottom of a hill and had to hike up to the hotel with our bags (good for your fitness!)

You could drive up closer to the entrance if needed. We had been sent an email with a code to get our key out of a lockbox at the entrance, but completely forgot about this when we arrived

The welcome area has stocked drinks and wines you make make use of with an easy system to relay back what you have selected to add to your bill. Staff are amazing and extremely nice

Tobias greeted us and gave us our key. He also explained about the drinks and food area. Drinks are taken based on an honesty system- you write down what drinks you had and then pay for them when you check-out

While planning a mere overnight stay, the dinner was well above our expectations. Even though we were traveling from French Riviera, the meal we got here was by far the best for all the trip

This is a Rick Steves recommendation. The rooms are quiet and clean but the beds aren't the most comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, though, as are the hosts. Its an easy and pretty walk into Bacharach

It was okay for a night stay, we were limited with choice. Nice hosts but the room accommodation is dated and aging. The town is worthy of a night to enjoy a walk and visit a local tavern.

Five stars Stefan and Sybil were such gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (and breakfast!) at their lovely pension and will return next time we are in Bacharach.

Basic but convenient It was simple and traditional, and within easy reach of Bacharach centre. No tea or coffee in room or WiFi, so felt being overcharged for what I got. Breakfast was overpriced at €15 for a buffet

We did not read all the instructions when booking and arrived late. The host was gracious though.

Family run. Friendly host. Room big and nicely eqipped with basics. No elevator only stairs would be difficilt for carrying luggages to room.
