Hotel Gasthof Grüner Wald is located in a major road Johann-Philipp-Schleicher-Str. Nearby is the bus stop Line 262 to Wiesbaden Kurpark via Autobahn in about 30 minutes. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet

We got a very nice studio with a roof terrace on the 3rd floor. A very nice manager 😀 You can also get to the city pretty quickly from there. It's close to the train station but you can't hear anything in the room

There were 2 single beds that are pushed together. It has a private bathroom and shower. The bathroom is recently tiled and is clean. No air conditioning but we didn’t need it

This is a very well run site a mere 35-40 minutes walk to the historic Freiburg Old Town, the Black Forest capital. The owners and staff were most welcoming and helpful. There was generally a friendly vibe about the site

Good place to spend a night. The sanitary building seemed quite new and it was very clean. One of the better showers I have had in a camping park. The pitches are small and it was quite crowded when we were there.

Facilities were modern and spotlessly clean, and the water for the showers and washing up was piping hot ! It was a very pleasant 30min walk along the river into the centre of Freiburg

Very good food with a focus on wild animals from the forest. It's all very tasty and juicy. Really nothing to complain about. Defintly something you should give it a try when being around in the area.

No, not again, the key didn't fit anymore The guesthouse is an old building and has been lovingly maintained as a guesthouse, according to its possibilities. Narrow stairs, creaky floorboards and single-glazed windows

But!!! On the second evening I tried to get back into the guesthouse with the key, but the door lock was blocked

By 7:00 PM, all the parking spaces were taken. We stayed in the area for several days, and this was absolutely perfect for exploring the city. The harbor is a 3-minute walk away. Indian food is just around the corner

We received very friendly welcome greetings and recommendations for nearby restaurants and breakfast options. In September, there were plenty of inexpensive parking spaces available in the afternoon

I stayed in the apartment as it is very big and has cooking facilities with pots, pans, and eating utensils. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet with a walk out terrace on each apartment

The hoels has underground secure parking with elevators to the apartment rooms which is nice in bad weather or to pack the car for a fast morning get away

The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. They had an English menu which was convenient for us yanks. Per German cuisine, lots and lots of meat, some starch and some sauerkraut
