The first night I had no hot water, and the next day the same problem, the water would go warm, about 30°C - 35°C and then cold again. I was told nobody would come on a weekend, and I was the only person to report this

All in all a very average hotel not bad except if something goes wrong you are left having cold showers and no compensation, they only want to take money for late arrivals, you'd think arriving before midnight is quite standard for a hotel and would not charge a fee, and you’d think if a guest was reporting a cold shower that would be a priority

Later that day I saw the receptionist and she offered to come look. When running the sink tap on hot, and the shower, I was able to get a stream of warm but not hot water. The next day they arrived and fixed it

The next day I only got very cold water, I ran the shower for 10 minutes, it was just cold. So I called the phone, over 1 hour no answer. I messaged on hotels app, no answer, so I had a cold wash with a towel

Situated on the outskirts of Freiberg, surrounded by lush green forests. Very peaceful and has amazing views

However the best part of this guest house is the owner himself!! He is one of the kindest Germans I have met :) :) Extremely courteous, caring and genuinely helpful

Spacious rooms in quiet surroundings. Excellent restaurant with local specialities. Warm, cozy indoor pool and sauna area. Fantastic breakfast with many choices. Highly recommend this hotel for a weekend away or longer!

The hotel staff were really good. Breakfast was great and the dinner at restaurant was just perfect. The hotel has a very nice spa with a small swimming pool ( a bit too small for my taste)

Rooms and the whole location was very clean modern and welcoming. The service was very good too.

But the best thing was actually the amazing lake really close the hotel which was very nice

The hotel was in a beautiul location. Housekeeping did not clean our room. No paper towels, only one tea towel. Trash in our rooms was not removed while we stayed there

Peaceful and perfect Beautiful location, with a short walk to restaurants and bars, picturesque and walkable. Good public transport links if needed. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful if needed but not overbearing

The breakfast was reasonable priced and had a great spread of options, my favorite being the option to boil your own egg. The rooms were spacious and provided some of the most stunning views of the area

The landhaus Kössel provided a wonderful stay for our family trip of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) to visit the Füssen and algau area to see Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein

We stayed for one night as a family. If you don't have high expectations for the room, it has perfectly adequate amenities. Breakfast is prepared simply and without exaggeration. It's a very charming and clean guesthouse

Lovely spacious and warm apartment with lake views. Big bathroom with underfloor heating and comfy bed. Right beside the lake and a short walk to town and restaurants. High quality breakfast included - great value.

We absolutely loved this hotel, the prices are very affordable, the room was lovely and clean, and the hostess is a very kind, warm woman, who even offered to bring coffee to our room if we wanted to

The location is also incredibly convenient being less then 10 min away from the central station. Maria was also an incredibly warm and hospitable host

She gave us great, personalised advice on what to do in Düsseldorf, and we were free to come and go as we pleased. Next time we are in Düsseldorf we will surely come again!

Very nice place, the room and the common bathrooms were perfectly clean and it was just a couple of blocks from the train station and 15mins away from the city center

She went out of her way to make my short stay as convenient as possible. Overall, at that price point, I couldn't really ask for more

I was in the guest house and I was aware that there was only one shower on the floor. In the main house every room has a shower and the rooms are modernly equipped

But my motive was a cheap room in the middle of the city. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was great. A selection that I have never experienced in a hotel before

A former monastery hotel. I had an image of being simple and poor, but I was betrayed in a good way. Especially the breakfast is colorful and delicious and the service is the best.

This is how overnight stays with breakfast in a foreign city are fun: courteous employees, very friendly and helpful

The room was advertised as sleeps three. Husband and I barely fit in the double bed (think US double). The room is great for one person or two small. The staff are very friendly, the surroundings beautiful

They provided us with a local guest pass for train and discounts at restaurants. We frequently went to Salzburg which was a short 20 min drive. The breakfast was good and also had a nice view

Simple hotel in a central location

Ideal position in the 'Old Town"

(it took over 15 minutes on my phone to remotely get a entry code From a remote helpdesk) In the morning, the staff was very friendly and forthcoming, Explaining that they are having issues with a buggy system… The rooms are a bit on the basic side, (Mattress and pillow are uncomfortable and need replacing but otherwise immaculately clean and practical

The rooms were perfectly fine (the only problem we encountered were the blinds which were a tad too short to cover the entire window, so we had to construct something with a scarf, we also noticed that with other lodges this didn't seem to occur) In other reviews we read about how it could get chilly in fall and winter times, so we prepared by packing warm sleeping clothes

I don't know why this place has had bad reviews. Cheap, cheerful and basic, also very clean and well run with friendly helpful staff and good facilities. The kitchen could be open a bit later

This in combination with the small electric radiator in the room made sure the we were warm enough in the nights. The toilets en showers and common kitchen are clean. The common room is cozy and perfect to have breakfast

If you're planning to stay here in fall or winter, take something warm or an electric blanket. It was not noisy while we were here. Staff was okay, room is okay, except for the cold we enjoyed our stay

It is not much, but that is what you can expect. It is cheap, it has a great connection to the city center via metro or scooter. The huts are a bit close to eachother, so no romantic cabin vibes
