Easy Lodges in Berlin

The room was not clean at all, and the one small window and fan is not enough to keep 4 adults cool enough to sleep, especially when you're woken up by the sun through the curtains at 6am every morning. The rooms becomes extremely hot during the day and is generally of inappropriate design for a living arrangement. The staff were relatively helpful but not always present, and the area in which this hostel is feels generally unsafe, even for a healthy man. I cannot recommend Easy Lodges Berlin to anyone.

I trying to change date my travel 4 days before arrival. I waiting 3 days for this. Last day I calling 10 times without answer... After 11 somebody give me information is not possible.

If you’re a single girl or even more than one, would not recommend this at all. Very unsafe place!! We were 3 girls and while entering the property at night, 2 men followed us in. We became suspicious and told to the staff, who did not bother to even check who had entered. They had no reservation as they asked us when the desk would open so they can book a room. The bunk beds creaked all night with the slightest movement. The bathrooms are really far from your rooms and so gross, you can smell them from the entrance. Only upside was the location and the reception lady being friendly.

A really interesting place although during the winter it is terribly cold inside, and have heard that during the summer is too hot; so it is more like an experience, not much like an sleeping place. Although it would be really really good if it was improved, and it should be improved, better isolation, better ventilation and it will kick as an example of good design. For now I can only say it is pretty and has a good breakfast.

The Scube park is located in a very shady area. If you arrive after 11pm, be prepared to find nobody at the reception to welcome you.
The rooms are very cold and evrything is bad quality. Our key broke inside the lock and we found ourselves blocked inside the room, called the reception at 7am...no answer. We had to wait for 10am for them to come.
the showers are very far from the rooms and dirty. Towels are not free.
Wifi is very slow.

Well - for the price I expected more.
Electronic fan heater in the room which is operated by green energy - great idea!
A table would have been in spite of everything, minimalism quite practical.
Furthermore, the Cubes are poorly sound - and heat isolated.
Staff is (felt) a bunch of Mini-jobbers, in the case of the 1-2 people are made to feel responsible - therefore a lot of.

Positive is the connection, fireplace, table tennis table and the swimming pool is next door.
Bathroom and Toilets work well, they are in a Central and quite clean.

Location is very good, staff very friendly, atmosphere at the Area's youth shaped - as in a hostel that is safe for the appropriate age group to a stimulus.
The Scubes are very small. A double bed with two-sided contact with the wall. In front of the Bed a foot wide space up to the outer wall, next to so much that you can put his suitcase on the floor. A small shelf on the side wall. Here, Camping is what I feel actually... Passive ventilation can be supplemented by an active, the fan is however extremely loud, Air and Sleep at the same time unthinkable. As a result, the ventilation is not enough and there is a damp musty air in the Scube. Open the door, but the night is not an Option. Don't want to know how the microbe load in those things...
I used Scube was overall very unclean, dirt accumulation in the corners of Windows. Seemed so, as would be obtained in the case of a Guest, the bed and the floor mopped, but nothing else. If the floor was mopped under the bed I have not checked dear.
Mattresses very poor, the springs noticeable all the time - when you Turn around a Screech.
Breakfast buffet is actually ok, but for the many guests and the friendly staff couldn't keep up, so again and again, things were missing. Poorly organised against the Background that we know the number of Breakfast guests in advance.
The sanitary facilities are totally inadequate. For men, a urinal and two toilets. The Park had during my stay many of the guests, so that the number was sufficient. To clean, despite the high frequency of use, obviously, only once a day. Of the five basins, only two worked. Overall, the Sanitary facilities, made it unsanitary and unkempt impression.
For a price of 20 euros per night that would take, that We are almost as expensive as a Hotel is totally unacceptable. Had a coupon for two nights at a price acceptable to the area and wanted to extend a night - you would want to have for 88 Euro. Have a comfortable Hotel with private bathroom and single room for 35 Euro posted....
Overall: For young people in tour groups because of the experience factor good for individual travelers, however, only acceptable if it costs more than 25 euros per Person. Anything else would be too expensive. Special Mention to the overall unkempt, slightly "scruffy" impression of the overall system. Here, you would have to invest something from the daily receipts of a purely....

The phone is hardly reachable, mail will not be answered at all. I had bought two vouchers. The redemption seems to be impossible. Each time it is called, for vouchers, the quota was exhausted. Now I try it a few more Times, then display due to fraud.
