We had a wonderful stay at the Hochdörffer family's guesthouse. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was truly fantastic – it had everything you could need, fresh and prepared with love.
You can feel how much effort the Hochdörffer family puts into it. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and wonderfully welcoming. The guesthouse's location is fantastic: nestled among picturesque vineyards, absolutely peaceful and idyllic. Even our dog was allowed to come along. You can relax on the terrace and enjoy the delicious house wine or the delicious grape juice in this beautiful setting.
An all-round successful stay.
It won't be our last visit.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend at the Hochdörffer Winery. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortably furnished, very clean, and left nothing to be desired. We would especially like to highlight the delicious breakfast, which provided a perfect start to the day.
The hosts, especially Mrs. Hochdörffer, were incredibly welcoming and looked after us so well – a huge thank you for that. Of course, a wine tasting was also a must: We were able to sample various wines, which we enjoyed so much that we immediately bought a few bottles.
All in all, a very pleasant stay that we can recommend at any time.
We will definitely be back 😀

We hosted a birthday party for 50 people at Villa Hochdörffer in July 2025. Mrs. Hochdörffer provided excellent advice beforehand, as did the support and service during the event. The location and facilities were superb, and the rooms were clean and well-equipped, according to our guests. A generous and delicious breakfast was served. The villa is very suitable for larger events such as weddings and birthdays. However, a catering company needs to be arranged, which is not a problem. Villa Hochdörffer offered several suggestions. We chose Hill Catering, which was outstanding.

We spent the weekend at this lovely campsite with two motorhomes. The welcome was very warm, and everyone received a small bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. During a wine tasting, we discovered that each wine or sparkling wine was more delicious than the last. In the evenings, there's a small menu, and the dishes are prepared with great care. The breakfast buffet is also highly recommended; nothing was lacking. Our small dog was also very welcome. Landau is easily accessible by bicycle. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

We stayed at the campsite over the weekend with our camper and our two dogs. We received a warm welcome and were treated to an extensive wine tasting afterward. A wonderful atmosphere with excellent wines and warm hospitality. On Sunday, there was also a breakfast buffet, which was delicious! The site has water and electrical hookups, and the toilet and shower are accessible to campers in the winery building, and they were clean! Thank you very much! We highly recommend the Villa Hochdörffer winery and will definitely be back soon.

After we stood in front of closed doors for about 10 minutes and there was no response to our ringing or call, we finally found Ms. Hochdörffer after a small search.
The greeting was warm and friendly.
The rooms are ok and comfortable, the bathroom a bit small.
Breakfast was not served as a buffet, as expected, but was brought to the table (except for coffee & tea, you had to get yourself from the machine)
Div. Requests were met on request.
As a farewell there was a small bottle of wine as a present.

We were with the family for a wine weekend at Villa Hochdörfer. We have booked the wine experience days. It was an all-round successful stay. The breakfast was lovingly arranged at the table, the rooms were spacious and very clean, the whole area is beautiful and fantastically located. We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Hochdörfer! Mr. Hochdörfer took over the hike in the vineyards and the wine tasting and picked us up with his enthusiasm for wine (growing).

Really very nice property in a great location! The one star is clearly for the optics. I cannot forgive more, however. We had considered celebrating our wedding at Villa Hochdörffer and therefore made an appointment to view the property. That was at the end of July. Unfortunately we were transferred by the boss, which is why the appointment never took place. We were there on time and looked for about 15-20 minutes to see if we could find someone. However, we did not meet anyone far and wide, there was no response to our ringing and several calls to landlines and mobile phones. We also walked around the entire property twice to see if anyone could be found anywhere. In the end, I left a message on the mailbox that we just didn't meet anyone and that we are going to leave again. Until today - in mid-August (!) There was no reaction from the Hochdörffer family. Neither a callback nor an email. No feedback or explanation, let alone apologize. Thank you, but we can do without such service providers. I find it rude and unprofessional.

We were with our camper on the parking lot of the winery. Nice parking space right next to the vineyards, with fresh water and electricity directly at the parking space. Despite an event in the evening, a wine tasting with plenty of time, delicious wines and great tips was possible. The music event (Schlager) went on as announced until 10 p.m. We would love to come back anytime!

Womoplatz is ok. Breakfast was very good in a cozy atmosphere.
