Beautiful cozy and quiet hotel with two pools. Stayed here for three days. Although it was October I could not resist the crystal clear pool. The owner and rest of staff were very welcoming and prompt with any request. You have to leave your key at the front desk to request room service for cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast was in a beautiful dining area with nice views of the sea if you get the right table. Front desk helped us rent a car so we could explore the island. Across from the hotel is a Windmill with a beautiful view of the sunset and Caldera Bay. We will definitely be back. There's a warmth and good energy about the property. Thank you Star Hotel for helping create some happy memories.

The staff were great and very welcoming. Gave great recommendations for tours and meals. The room was cute and the pool was very refreshing. The only problem, was the bathroom always smelled funky. Would absolutely stay here again. Lucas at the front desk was great!

Fantastic hotel with wonderful service! Great location on edge of Megalochori village with shopping and restaurants, nice quiet atmosphere. Much better than Fira or Oia. Beautiful rooms and pool, everyone so helpful!

I'm not sure how to rate this stay. The hotel was gorgeous the pool was very nice. The breakfast was good but monitored. Meaning I was asked if it was my "second" cup. I received the impression they were very stingy. They even charged for use of a towel at the pool. They serve no food but a meager breakfast. If you want to eat lunch or dinner you have to go to the village about a half mile away.

Owner and son super nice. Property very clean and well maintained. Pool was beautiful but so cold. I wish the breakfast bar was outside by the pool bar. We had to eat out there which was lovely but it was inconvenient to keep going up and down the small stair way to the food. I thought the young lady that was working there could have kept our coffee fresh but she did not we had to go back up the stairs and inside just for a second or third coffee. Poolside bar was closed I guess for the season and there wasn't room service. I was bummed about that. Room was super small but well equipped. We had a balcony with a sea view. And there was a small fridge.

Clean place, great service with friendly family that runs it. Only issue I had was that the owner insisted I pay in cash at a price that was more than advertised online. If his son and other staff had not been so friendly and welcoming, I would leave a lower review. Beautiful area in the countryside. Good location as long as you know that you are far from the white-building picturesque cliff-sides that santorini is know for.
