My wife and I just returned from an unforgettable stay at The Star Hotel in Santorini, and I can't stop thinking about how amazing it was! As a family-owned business, the warmth and personal touch shine through from the moment you arrive. The owner was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind—going out of his way to ensure every detail of our trip was perfect, from personalized recommendations for local hidden gems to checking in on us daily with a smile.

The hotel itself is a modern masterpiece, impeccably clean and thoughtfully detailed with all the amenities you could want: plush bedding, high-end toiletries and smart room controls. Our room was spotless and felt brand new, which made relaxing after a day of exploring even more luxurious.

That breathtaking infinity pool! Perched on the cliffside, it offers endless photo-worthy vistas of the sunset-drenched horizon. Yes, it's on the smaller side, which keeps it intimate and uncrowded, but it was the perfect spot for a refreshing dip or lounging with a cocktail in hand.

Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing—peaceful, rejuvenating, and filled with that authentic Greek hospitality that big chains just can't match. Depending on the room you get, this hotel can be a hot or miss. For us, it was a big hit! Our room was spacious and very clean. The owners are very attentive and friendly. The pool is clean. The location is great - 10 minute bus ride in either direction for some great attractions.

Best staff, clean rooms, and they make their own wine! 🍷 Absolutely recommend. 💯✨☀️ You can book everything you need with this hotel without stress (tours, restaurants, taxis, vehicles to rent, ...). 🌞🌺

Truly a gem! Mr. Vaggelis is a wonderful person, and the entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cared for down to the smallest detail, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with a sense of genuine hospitality that you rarely find in hotels. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars, because they truly deserve it!

Amazing family run hotel! The staff is so welcoming and really makes you feel at home, very kind and helpful! They helped us plan an excursion to the volcano and hot springs! Gave us cold water bottles for our journey and always asked if we needed anything! Really recommend staying here, the location was great close to all public transport buses! The room has great air conditioning!

Beautiful cozy and quiet hotel with two pools. Stayed here for three days. Although it was October I could not resist the crystal clear pool. The owner and rest of staff were very welcoming and prompt with any request. You have to leave your key at the front desk to request room service for cleaning and fresh towels. Breakfast was in a beautiful dining area with nice views of the sea if you get the right table. Front desk helped us rent a car so we could explore the island. Across from the hotel is a Windmill with a beautiful view of the sunset and Caldera Bay. We will definitely be back. There's a warmth and good energy about the property. Thank you Star Hotel for helping create some happy memories.

The staff were great and very welcoming. Gave great recommendations for tours and meals. The room was cute and the pool was very refreshing. The only problem, was the bathroom always smelled funky. Would absolutely stay here again. Lucas at the front desk was great!

Fantastic hotel with wonderful service! Great location on edge of Megalochori village with shopping and restaurants, nice quiet atmosphere. Much better than Fira or Oia. Beautiful rooms and pool, everyone so helpful!

Excellent hotel we will go again next year

I'm not sure how to rate this stay. The hotel was gorgeous the pool was very nice. The breakfast was good but monitored. Meaning I was asked if it was my "second" cup. I received the impression they were very stingy. They even charged for use of a towel at the pool. They serve no food but a meager breakfast. If you want to eat lunch or dinner you have to go to the village about a half mile away.
