Anessis in Fira

Just got back from my first time in Santorini having stayed in this little gem of a hotel. It is located just a 5 - 10 minute walk from restaurants, shops and bars and a really good supermarket. The rooms are a traditional greek style but are absolutely immaculate, the windows and patio doors had built in shutters and were brilliant for keeping the rooms quiet and cool, the room had a kettle and a full size fridge, free mini safe and also 3 usb and 3 type C charging points by the beds so no need to keep unplugging and charging your items 1 at a time. The air conditioning was excellent and free and the shower was excellent with plenty of pressure and hot water.The beds and pillows were really comfortable too. The pool area is excellent and the beds are great quality and comfortable and the grounds are really well kept. This is a small family run hotel with 14 rooms and the staff are really friendly and can't do enough to help and make you feel welcome, it felt like staying in your own private villa. Having looked at the prices to stay at some of the places with a sunset view a 10 minute walk away (3 or 4 times the price we paid here) and no privacy from thousands of people walking the paths above you.....I would highly recommend staying here and watching the sunrise from the privacy of your balcony.

A little gem of a hotel close to Thira
A little gem of a hotel. Close to central Thira around 5 minutes from the central bus station but in a surprisingly quiet location. Lovely grounds. Spacious rooms. Immaculately clean. The pool is small but adequate. We will definitely stay again.

I must commend the honesty of staff in this hotel.My daughter forgot her airpods in this hotel and her friend forgot hers also.They only realised when they got back to Ireland Devasted.They don't remember the girls name they dealt with but they emailed the hotel and the items were sent registered post back to Ireland. Fair play to them.They could have said they didn't find them and keep,They might not be bothered with the hassle of posting.Nice to know there are kind and honesty people out there

We had a wonderful time at the Anessis Hotel in Fira. The hotel's location is simply perfect – the bus stations are just a 3-4 minute walk away, providing easy access to all parts of the island.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Dimitris. He took plenty of time to explain everything about our room and the island. We even learned a few words of Greek from him – a really nice touch!

We would particularly like to emphasize the cleanliness. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day – we were very impressed and felt like a real comfort.

The evenings on our balcony were also a highlight – simply relaxing, enjoying the peace and quiet, and letting the day fade away.

For us, our stay at the Anessis Hotel was truly value for money. We highly recommend it to everyone!

We loved our stay here at Anessis while we were in Santorini. They offered taxi service for a fee (we usually take buses but the timing wouldn't work out for our flight arrival time). They were dependable and had it scheduled for us and the owner was there to meet us! The couple who own it are lovely and front desk girl speaks English to assist with other stuff. Clean, modern bathroom. It was walking distance to the "city center" of Fira and super close to the bus station if you plan on using that. Great price for location and quality of hotel!
We are sensitive to cars driving by and you could hear the cars but with ear plugs, no problem. Other people may not even hear the cars passing by!

This hotel was in a great location, walking distance from many shops, restaurants and supermarkets in all different directions!

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating…I plan to go back to Santorini next year and will definitely be booking here again!

We loved our stay here! The team are fabulous! The room was lovely, modern, spacious and clean! A brilliant location to explore Santorini!

The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to the bus station. The hotel has a swimming pool, complete facilities, a refrigerator, and free large bottles of water. The bad thing is that the soundproofing is not good, and even worse is that the windows cannot be opened, and the air conditioner broke on the second night!

It was a good value hotel.
It was disappointing to stay for 3 nights.
It was a flat hotel where I wanted to stay for a week.
