We are just back from another stay at Villa Contessa. We always have such a quiet and relaxing holiday there. All needs are catered for by the wonderful host Spiros. He booked our car hire and a taxi to the airport. Also little things like a bottle of water and some wine in the fridge for our arrival. With good restaurants and the beach a short walk away it suits us perfectly.

This hotel is beautiful. Very well maintained, clean and fresh. Hotel staff are very friendly and accomadating. A big mention to George at the bar,he goes above and beyond, it is special when you have a barman who is multiskilled and with character, he gives people service from their sun beds especially the 20 cheese and onion toasties 🤣. Another visit the Palmyra did not disappoint, a well run hotel with spacious rooms with waterfall showers in the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are nice bonus . The aircon is excellent and is a must . All the staff here are polite and very helpful , a special mention goes to the housekeeping staff who came in every day at our request, brilliant. This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We have stayed in 5 star accommodation at triple the price and it doesn't compare. It's a very basic hotel, built a long time ago but it's clean, spacious and well maintained. The location, sea views and access to the beach below your balcony is crazy good. + hotel is located right next to the sea, has private beach with free sun beds + good views from the balcony + suite was okay, but reconstruction needed + nice hotel workers - breakfasts was awful, everyday! It should be illegal to feed people this way - suits located above the road could be very noisy - 10 euro/day for air conditioning is wild!

If you use the hotel only to sleep and not stay in the room, then ok, if you are going to spend time here, I do not recommend it. Rooms facing the road very noisy, moldy bathrooms, cleanliness very bad. Simple breakfast. Very good location, beautiful view. For undemanding

First of all this hotel is located right at the beach and shares the swimming pool with hotel paradise next to it. View from balcony is great when you have sea view. I've stayed in several hotels in Argassi. It had the most comfortable beds! We had wonderful stay! So great, that I organised my camp there. Everyone was over the moon and back. I think it is great value for your money. Yes the aircon is to be paid separately just like all other hotels in Zakynthos. The rooms have a big fridge included as well, cleaned every day. That is clearly stated in advance....

I stayed here for 3 nights earl April, it is a lovely little family run Greek hotel, super helpful Simon and staff, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was wonderful and plentiful too, everything was clean and I slept very well there, thank you so much for your hospitality Simon

We were in room 6. Bit of a hike up to the room, another 15 steps up to door! It was worth it for the glorious view! Rooms cleaned everyday by lovely staff. Room very dated but very clean. Great air con. Bit scary at 1st walking to shops but, the drivers mostly courteous. Road busy during the day but quiet at night. Pool nice enough but the umbrella was not working! The absolute best. The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here... in general, if you're still hesitating whether to pick this hotel or not, please do, you'll be more than satisfied.

Very cool! Although it is not in the town, it takes about half an hour to walk to this hotel, but it is also on the pick-up route for each group. What a fantastic place to stay, had 3 nights in a bungalow with sea view. Due to the fact the first hotel I booked was shocking. Was greeted by a lovely lady called Katia, who was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for me to make my stay enjoyable. Arrived at the hotel it was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms both were cleaned to a high standard daily. We found there was always space around the pool and just a few steps and you are in the warm clear sea. Breakfast was a good selection of food from your full English, pastries to yoghurt and fruit something for everyone. Would definitely return
