Zante Imperial Beach Hotel

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos 🧭

Had a lovely stay here. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties due lots of steps

We spent 5 days here... it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool... drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort... Best point: it is 30 minutes walk to St. Nicholas and Banana Beach (amazing beaches)! it is close to lovely restaurants if you fancy something different. In general our room was very good... clean, spacious...

Nice quiet place for relax, nice views, nice quiet smaller Beach, but better than overcrowded, excellent for children, futher from Pallazo do Zante, hotel Room service average, but we are ok with that, one thing would be fain to have is animation program during the days and especially in there evenings(missed greek evenings, music etc experienced in Crete or Cyprus) :) on the other hand..thank you...

Beautyful Island.Good value for money.

At this hotel I like the food and my room. But the hotel isn't very luxurious.I suggest you to go there.

Palazzo di Zante

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos 🧭

Gorgeous hotel. Great pools. Great little beach at the bottom. Although a big hotel (or rather one fair sized one attached to 2 others) it is pretty remote, so ideal for a relaxing holiday. Staff are all incredible, friendly, and helpful. As an all inclusive hotel the food is pretty basic though, and when busy they do seem to struggle with the numbers at meal times. Also, although there is acres of...

Gerakas Belvedere Hotel & Spa

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos 🧭

Excellent place to stay for a quiet trip away. Lovely local restaurants which were really good by any standard and easily walkable. The communal parts of the hotel were great. Only issue is the room. I think some rooms have been upgraded but we must have been in an older one. Whilst clean and well serviced the mattress was horrendous. Like sleeping on concrete.

We have just arrived home from a 2 weeks stay here, we were a little concerned after reading some of the previous reviews, but pleased to say that we had a really lovely experience. On arrival there was an issue with our room but we were surprised with an upgrade to a private villa with pool for 2 nights, the villa was lovely and we were very pleased. The staff on the hotel reception and the lady that...

Great place to stay. Beautiful area and lovely hotel. Very quiet and secluded, but with several restaurants right down the road. The pool area is updated and very nice, and the view, especially from the restaurant/breakfast area is spectacular. Our room was great, just as described, with an excellent view from the balcony and great air conditioning. There was even a small refrigerator with freezer...

We spent our holiday here and we loved it! The room was clean, the food was good, you had a large variety to chose from and also, the staff was really friendly. The location was also very good, because it’s only a few minutes away from the beach. We had a very nice stay and would love to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place is really beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms are cleaned daily and kept tidy, with only minor signs of wear and tear. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a good variety of options. There’s also a nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a bar for drinks and snacks. One of the highlights is the nearby Gerakas Beach – it...

Nice room with huge balcony and view of the sea. Bed was very creaky though and we reported this when leaving. There is a walk to the beach and that was fine. Bit out of the way for Zante town and taxis are 30 euros each way so get a car if you plan on going there often. Nicos food down the road is great and the bar attached to the restaurant was great for an evening. The Greek night turned out to...

Vasilikos Beach

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, St. Nichollas Beach, Vasilikos 🧭

My Wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Fantastic staff made everything perfect. Only the weather let us down, having thunderstorms for a few days. There are a couple of tavernas a minutes walk away and a couple more on the beach which is only around 200m away. The breakfast was great too, with eggs, bacon, beans and sausages. Also greek yoghurt...

Excellent hotel in quiet, peaceful surroundings. I really enjoyed my stay here despite the fairly dreadful weather,( thunderstorms and rain almost all week). I booked a superior room which was spacious and comfortable and kept immaculately clean by the staff, who were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good choice of food. The bar served a nice range of food all day and...

Visited for 2 weeks in September and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel was everything we hoped for. So much so that the day after we got back home we booked again for next year. Thanks to every member of staff for giving us a holiday to remember.

Been an amazingly relaxing break. Beautiful location, great breakfast and the place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Obliging and friendly staff and the pizza is worth trying. Plenty of places to eat out locally and the hotel bar inside and out offers a great place to chill out and enjoy a drink in the evening. The pool area is lovely and the local beaches are close by and worth stepping out...

Great location, quiet area, great beaches, staff at hotel arrest excellent rooms are spacious showers hot, breakfast was adequate plenty of choices

Only been here a couple of days but loving the vibe. Pool area is lovely and Daria who mans the bar is so friendly and helpful. Other staff are welcoming and friendly too. Local restaurants serve good local food. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend.

Matilda Hotel

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos 🧭

A wonderful location! Everything was perfect: the friendliness of the staff, the location of the hotel in a quiet area with a gorgeous garden, the excellent pool, cleanliness, the air-conditioned rooms, the varied breakfast and dinner. The Porto Azzuro beach with fine sand is nearby. We had a beautiful and relaxing holiday!

First, we've been greeted by a very kind receptionist lady, that was beyond polite to assist us with any kind of questions regarding the hotel/area/beaches & everything + recommendations and the overall staff is very kind & polite. Second the rooms might not be big or anything fancy, but they're clean & the AC is absolutely the best (it doesn't turn the room into a refrigerator and makes it too cold...

If you wish to visit Zakynthos I highly recommend to stay at this hotel. It is in a very quiet area, our room had balcony with view to the sea,the hotel has an outdoor pool and the water is very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and the food is very good. The staff here is so friendly and they help you with everything you need. We sure will return here

Peaceful Stay with Incredible Hospitality We stayed at Matilda Hotel during our 8-day trip to Zakynthos and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet, more remote area, which makes it a peaceful place to relax away from the busy tourist spots. The view from the hotel is stunning, especially in the early mornings and evenings. There’s also a lovely beach nearby that’s perfect...

Staff attention is the best. Very good breakfast. Very good swimming pool.

Wonderful food, super clean and excellent view. The staff was really helpful and always there when we needed it. Went for a vacation with friends and we had a blastttt! It was really nice especially the food and the rooms

Arion Resort

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos, Zakinthos 🧭

Looking at the trip as a whole, I would rate the hotel rather as 3 stars rather than 4, although there aren't any major complaints. It is an affordable hotel and meets this category. The food is tasty, although there isn't a wide selection here – the area is quiet and peaceful, which is worth keeping in mind.

The experience was wonderful. The services were excellent, and the staff was very kind and attentive, especially Paola, who was the nicest and friendliest. She truly made our stay more pleasant. I give 5 stars, especially thanks to Paola 🤍.

We had a lovely stay there. The hotel rooms are clean and equipped with everything you might need. Although the showers are not well designed as you flood your whole bathroom when showering. The location is nice, to the sea it is a 5-minute-walk. For lunch and dinner you also have to walk for about 4 minutes as the food is served in a nearby hotel Arion Green Resort. The food is average, some dishes...

We had a lovely stay at this 4-star hotel on Zakynthos. Our family room was spacious and clean, with fresh towels provided daily. Breakfast was served directly at the hotel, while lunch and dinner were offered at the nearby Green Riviera Hotel. The short walk between the two hotels didn’t bother us at all—if anything, it actually helped with digestion after meals. For those who prefer a more relaxed...

Perfection! I would love to come back here. The accommodation was great. The staff was very helpful. I spent most of my time at the bar with Leda, it was the best. The food was delicious.

Very nice family acommodation in quiet location of Vasilikos with very nice staff and good meals. There are some taverns and markets around. Beach is 200 meters from the hotel with sunbeds which are free for guests. I recommend rentig of car for people who would like to explore Zakynthos.

The Bay Hotel & Suites

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vasilikos 🧭

This hotel is quite literally heaven on Earth. It isn't just a place to come to stay, it is a lifetime experience. I have nothing be praise for the staff, every single one of them made our experience one that we will never forget. The attention to detail and hospitality was sublime. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean, the restaurant, pool bar and breakfast is 5* with a wide selection to choose...

A proper 5* experience - comfy rooms with large beds and powerful showers, friendly, helpful staff, the largest, loveliest breakfast buffet I've ever encountered, beautiful location, fab pool and ultra comfy sunbeds, a wonderful beach and great food and cocktails. There's a couple of tavernas nearby if you want to eat out and I'd recommend Taverna Familia and Skartsofoli especially. Loved every minute...

Without doubt the most luxurious hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were incredibly friendly. helpful and from reception to cocktail waiters, nothing was too much trouble. We chose a standard double with a garden view which was comfortable, with a large bed and amazingly powerful shower. The hotel sits by the private beach with fabulous scenery all around. The pool area is large...

We had a lovely stay at The Bay. Hotel, our room, the friendly staff and the other facilities were more than I had hoped for. We got to use a sauna on a rainy day, got a great massage at the spa and enjoyed our lives at the pool and beach, with plenty of space and beds. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel's restaurant menu also. There are other restaurants and a little village within walking distance...

Lovely restaurants. Visited for dinner as non-hotel residents. Most staff were lovely, one made us feel quite unwelcome despite their policy of welcoming non-hotel residents at their restaurants. Food is incredible - albeit pricey for the area, with the set menu costing €160 for two.

We choose The Bay as we wanted calm , peace and quiet. This we got in abundance . This place is not perfect but could easily be with a few tweaks. The location is stunning , the rooms modern and spacious , the food is lovely . Plenty of choice for everyone and no problems with coffee at breakfast as mentioned in other reviews. Food could do to be warmer . Dinner is 5 courses and you choose the main...

Zante Yliessa

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Porto Roma 🧭

Fabulous hosts, couldn't do enough for us, very friendly. Rooms were exceptionally clean.

Zante Yliessa is all about enjoying friendly Greek hospitality and value for money on the beautiful Greek island of Zante. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you are coming home. Facilities: Food, drink and entertainment: Air-conditioned swimming pool offering breakfast, refreshments etc. All day wide screen TV and BBQ evenings. WIFI works everywhere and fast! Sports, games and activities...

A very priceworthy hotel located in a rather quiet area of Zakynthos. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but I would recommend renting a car if staying here to be able to fully enjoy the area and the island.

The rooms are what I expected, cleaned every day. The service was excellent. And location is great: have few beaches near, a great restaurant and one shop (even if I'm not happy with this one). Special words for staff: very great people 👍, help us every day. It was so amazing, I felt like at home. They help us with a car and tell everything that I need to know about the island. So, I found the best...

Really kind staff. Swimming pool is awesome. Rooms with climate.

Very nice place for families and couples. It is closed to Porto Roma beach (less than 10 minutes on foot) and there is also a supermarket just outside the hotel and this is a good point because you have the chance to cook in your room. The last but not the least, it is quite cheap! :)

Plaka Sungrace Studios & Apartments

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Agios Nikolaos 🧭

Apartments not the ones in the pic ( unless you upgrade) ours was further back on the road. Quite small but fine for what we needed. Shower was nice and the bathroom revamped. On the nicest spot of beach up this stretch of Banana beach in my opinion. Not a place for vibe loving younger gen, the village is small with only a couple of tavernas and 1 shop. Perfect for a relax and chill. Food good in...

Do not listen to the negative reviews. Let’s start with what could’ve been better (which is not much): -The shower was a bit small, and the cable was a bit too short, but it was alright. -You need to pay extra for airconditioning, which I really recomment. It can get really hot. What was good: -Super nice staff. I have seen some negative reviews about the people who work here, especially about the...

The rooms are good. The shower cable was a bit to short so it was a little bit akward turning around in the shower. I would say it is needed to purchase the airconditioning because it could get very hot. The wifi did not work for me though. Breakfast is fine, the bread and the fruit is good. The location where you have breakfast is nice with a view over the beach. The service there is good. The location...

Our stay was great. The crystal clear water, the sandy beach, the wonderful music, the nice sunny rooms and last but not least the attentive and hospitable service. We felt like home! We will be your guests again!

We have stayed at Plaka beach resort 6 times and yet again had great holiday Spiros Andreas their mom and dad made us very welcome. also all the staff working for them were amazing. the sea view suites were beautiful spacious comfortable and exceptionally clean beautiful views .a very good breakfast and restaurant food very good with daily specials most definitely the best quality food in the area...

We have just had the most relaxing , peaceful holiday at Plaka Beach . The hotel is right on the beach and a lovely sea breeze keeps you cool , which i can imagine will be very welcoming during the hotter months. We were lucky enough to have a luxury beach suite which was incredible . But some of the rooms and studios the rooms are split in another building just by the entrance .Breakfast was served...

Diamond Suites

Zakynthos, Vasilikos 🧭

Positives: They are picturesque villas on a mountain side with traditional stone houses and beautiful pools from the pool deck. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Negatives: You definitely need a car to access. Individuals must be in good shape to climb the steep, narrow stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms of the villas. This is definitely not a 4 or even 3 star property as the amenities are very...

We had a private villa (ground floor only) for one night which was adjacent to neighbouring villas. It was clean and spacious in a traditional style. Personally the traditional look with beams made it feel dark. The bathroom was simplistic and a bit shabby. No window in the bathroom and just a window vent. The two rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen diner was a good size and with a working TV...

We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at diamond suites. We stayed in family apartment with two bedrooms and a day bed in the communal bit. We also had our own private pool which was fantastic for the kids aged 5 & 7. We also were able to go to the main bit of the hotel and swim and lounge by communal pool. The sea views are breath taking, we felt so lucky to find such a beautiful location...

It was a great vacation for us. The location and size of the apartment is amazing. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. The bathrooms definitely need major renovation.

We were the first guests this year. Great apartment that fully corresponded to the photos. Swimming pool was lovely. Sunbeds and other seating areas. Beautiful view! Many beaches nearby. Porto Kaminio only 7 minutes by car. Sunbeds available for 1 drink (very affordable). Very quiet neighborhood (luckily). Very friendly caretaker (Christy). We were early but were allowed in the apartment right away...

Quiet place with great suites and relaxing view, nice swimming pool and common area. Perfect for those who don't like crowded and noisy hotels

Sea View Village

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vasilikós 🧭

We went to the Sea View Village for 4 nights, the location and the hotel are really good. The breakfast is fine, and the food at the restaurant is really good.

Pro: Beautiful view Charming and well kept buildings Clean Decent beds Con: We could not enjoy time at the pool because of repetitive dance music which not at all fits the guest segment. The WiFi in our apartment was horrible and since 5G is weak here this was a big problem for us. Every item in the apartment is chosen because it was the absolute cheapest available. We were in a “Deluxe Family...

Cannot fault the place. Quiet, peaceful and clean. Maria was so welcoming when we arrived, Roxana, Yohen, Temo and Dino are such a credit. Looked after us abs their service was impeccable. Thank you all, would highly recommend, we did not want to leave. Karen & Nicholas (June 2026) xxxx

We had a great stay and enjoyed the friendliness of the whole staff and the well maintained hotel complex. Our room was very spacious with a big terrace with sea view. We would have preferred a studio on a higher floor with an even more spectacular sea view but maybe next time. The beds are excellent plus an insect screen door ensure a good sleep. The only unpleasant thing was the intense bad smell...

Arrived 29th Aug till 9th Sept. Lovely warm welcome by Maria and her hospitality was continuous throughout our stay. Room 302 was lovely overlooked the pool but also beautiful sea view. Peaceful resort always available sunbeds and sunbed towels replaced through the day. Ate in the restaurant a few times and enjoyed breakfast especially the home made products and the fig jam. Lots of fresh figs on nearby...

Thankfully we have one further day left to enjoy everything that the team at this hotel provides to make this a really wonderful holiday experience. It can’t be faulted. The warmness of the staff is exceptional as are the facilities. The rooms are large, comfortable and the pool and bar are superb. It’s a 10/10 from the Francis Family. Thank you Maria and everyone. This is JUST what we needed.

Lagoon Luxury Suites

Zakynthos, Vasilikos, Vassilikos 🧭

Returned in September 25 after being here in June 25 and fell in love with the place! However was hoping to return in June 2026 for three weeks but the hotel is going all inclusive and that’s is so not for us! Plus our favourite operator Jet2 is no longer using this hotel as TUI has the monopoly now by the sounds of things. What was a beautiful quiet, relaxing hotel with returning guests year after...

4th time and maybe the last time to the Gerakas Belvedere because although we had another great time they are going all-inclusive next year and that's just not for us. I just hope the lovely tavernas outside of the hotel are not affected by this (mad)decision.

Nice pool area with bar for drinks and food. Rooms well kept and clean Friendly helpful reception staff Nearby restaurant 5 mins walk shops and other restaurants 15 mins

We have just spent a week at this hotel on a half board basis and have come away feeling like we had an OK holiday but one that could have been so much better without doing too much. The buffet dinners are ok but so similar night in night out that you get fed up of the same thing. Although it is the end of the season, it was surprising how lacking in any sort of ambience / atmosphere the restaurant...

I loved this hotel. The setting is beautiful (we booked a junior suite with sea view), the room very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts and evening meals were great. It is in a quiet location so not for people looking for nightlife but if you want a relaxing holiday near a beautiful beach, it's perfect.

Just returned from a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. Had we not stayed here last year we would have been very worried having read the reviews BUT we were not disappointed in the least. The staff remembered us from last year which immediately made us feel very welcome. Our room was not as nice as our previous visit but we did not pay for a garden view room on this occasion. However, it was spotlessly...
