i loved every single day of being here, it is in an amazing place, with the BEST view ever that a hotel could have!
the people at the reception were the most adorable, i have never met anyone in my life that kind, always smiling and tactful like them.
we only had an issue on the first day with some white bugs on the balcony but not in our room! and it was solved quickly that night and we never had them back since:) then we received a wine or a champaign (all free), i do not remember but it was delicious! 🥰🫶🏼
thank you!

The friendliest service and the best view. You can simply walk straight from the hotel to the beach yes, you read that right! The hotel offers private pool access and a small, beach.

Amazing sea view, nice rooms for the price. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. My one complaint would be the instant coffee.
I’d highly recommend the hotel, because it is directly at the sea with a private part where you can go for a swim. There are plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets nearby and there is a bus stop 5 mins away.
The room also had a mini fridge which was a nice surprise.
AC was included in the price but I never used it, the temperature was very nice even in the night (beginning of Aug.) Reception is 0-24, you can leave your key there if you go for a tour.
Breakfast was between 8-10.
Light sleepers should bring ear-plugs though because the floor is made out of tiles and you can here the upstairs neighbour moving the chairs.
There is a pool with plenty of sunbeds, so you don’t have to run and reserve a spot early in the morning.
This hotel is the perfect choice if you want to enjoy the sea view and at the closeness of the beach at the same time in a not too crowded but still lively small town.

The service is kind and helpful, the cleaning ladys are changing the towels every 2 days, which is good, but you can hear every single noise coming from the other rooms or outside the room. The rooms are not like the photos, the location is good, you can easily go to some restaurants and shops, there is also free parking in front of the hotel. But the noise is absolutely terrible. I couldn’t sleep good just because the doors and the walls were so thin, i was hearing people walking and speaking all of the time. The pool doesn’t seem clean to me, i didn’t go inside.Just the view was good, because the hotel is next to the see.

Great location. The towels and sheets are changed everyday. The food served at breakfast is also good. The beach is right next to the hotel

Firstly I want to state I never write negative reviews and everything in this will be 100% truthful. I come to Zante every year and stay in Argassi and Kalamaki. I want to start by saying this hotel has huge potential but it needs investment.
Pros of the Hotel:
Good location, lovely swimming pool & although the rooms were basic there exactly what you expect from a Greek hotel room, despite the floor being broken.
Now the cons:
The breakfast; it was bad. If you were staying for 2/3 days it’s fine, not much option but it would do, however, if you are staying for 2 weeks like we were then it’s terrible. Cold eggs, cold bread (no toaster) and hard pastries are on offer.
Aircon; the rooms get extremely hot and air in is required, now I’ve stayed in Zante for the last 8 years, most hotels don’t charge, but we have been charged once before. We had 2 rooms, which means for the 2 weeks we were charged €280 for air con, that is simply outrageous.
The maids; they were lovely people but we didn’t have our towels changed more than once in 2 weeks, they even took our bath towel for the floor and forgot to replace it, so for the entire 2nd week we were having to use one of the towels to mop the floor. To add, they took one of our sheets and forgot to replace it for 4 nights.
When we booked (we booked roughly 6 months in advance) we asked for 2 rooms together as we are a family, now I know that sometimes requests can’t be fulfilled but we asked 6 months in advance, they placed the 2 rooms at the complete opposite ends of the hotel.
The shower; they do not have a wall mount for the shower head, meaning you have to manually shower and when u put the shower head down to use soap etc the water goes everywhere, now this may seem petty but when you are paying thousands to stay here it’s the bare minimum you’d expect.
I would like to reiterate I usually do not listen to reviews on hotels as it’s usually wrong and we have no problems, this is the exception to the rule. I have reviewed many shops, bars, restaurants and hotels, this is the first establishment I will be giving less than 5 stars too.
Finally, according to Google this is a 4 star hotel, this couldn’t be further from the truth, it is 2 star at an absolute push, there is much nicer hotels along the same row of hotels that are roughly the same price.

This hotel has huge potential but needs money invested.

The rooms are filthy, long dark hairs all over the floor, beds are uncomfortable and staff are very very rude. I had tried paying for a bottle of water at the pool bar and a member of staff told me it’s free, I then had the manager run over screaming and shouting calling me a thief, this was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable to talk to your customers this way, it’s clear the staff have not been trained.

The hotel looks pretty from outside, the reception is well decorated and it gives you hope that the rooms are also looking well. Unfortunately, I’ve been fooled by the pictures from booking in which they were showing the rooms that were renovated recently I guess. I’ve booked the trip through a travel agency and they showed me pictures with the basic rooms and again I’ve thought that the pics were old and maybe the rooms are not that bad. But man… when I opened the door I’ve been very disappointed by my own expectations. The furniture is very, very old or they might not be that old but they are in an old fashion way. The bathroom was filthy, literally. Again, very old bathroom furniture, the toilet was rusty inside. The mirror wasn’t cleaned in a while, the walls had several little hairs on them ( on the bathtub side) and one crushed mosquito. On the bathroom door was a plastic pad that protects the swimsuit sticked on it. The shelf that’s above of sink was VERY dirty, I couldn’t place things on it and it was also detached from the wall. No soap, I’ve bought one from the market. Going forward, the fridge was probably broken because it was hot on its sides and made a lot of heat, not very pleasant on 30 degrees. Lots of dust on the bedsides, like they were not cleaned for about a month. Under the beds you can find lots of dirt, they are not sweeping or vacuuming under there. The air conditioner had to be paid (this was due to the fact that the trip was bought through a travel agency) 10 euros a day, kind of pricey and cooled down the room very slow. The beds were made everyday and the towels were changed 2-3 times in 7 days. The only positive things: the pool and the mini beach they have in the back. The breakfast was ok.

The staff was nice.

They have several rooms that are renovated but they were not available with the travel agency from where I booked the trip. Maybe those are better.

It’s a pity that they don’t want to invest more in the hotel to renovate the old rooms as they have and had lots of tourist and I see that many have complained about the rooms and the lack of cleanliness. I guess they are relying on the fact that tourist still come even with all these reviews. I will come back to Zakynthos but I’ll book a 4 or 5 star hotel. They surely are cleaning their rooms and bathrooms.

Very nice place to stay, own pool and direct access to the sea. The bar food & drink prices are good.
