We are just back from another stay at Villa Contessa. We always have such a quiet and relaxing holiday there. All needs are catered for by the wonderful host Spiros. He booked our car hire and a taxi to the airport. Also little things like a bottle of water and some wine in the fridge for our arrival. With good restaurants and the beach a short walk away it suits us perfectly.

Loved everything about this hotel, especially having a private pool. Food was great, staff great. The only downside was location. If you want an escape and total peace this is ideal. Roads were mostly dirt tracks and after rain not good. Hotel is high on a hill, not for the unfit.

Recently stayed at two brothers on a friend's recommendation and had the best 10 nights. We arrived 2 hours earlier than we initially advised the hotel however we were greeted with a smile from Costa and his brother Pathos and immediately we were shown to our rooms. Lovely rooms, great location. Vasso and petros keep the rooms and area spotless. Lots of people return here year after year. Self catering rooms have everything you would want in them. 5 minutes to shops and bars, 5 minutes from the beach.

Just returned from a stay at Asteri studios. Nothing too much for property manager, let us keep our room on until 3 pm on our last day. Have use of Costa's pool and bar opposite, they are super friendly and serve great selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great location for beach 5-10 mins walk and kalamaki main strip 5 mins.

Asteri Studios are superb The room i had was spotless and maintained to that level throughout my 2 week stay The owner and her family work really hard to make sure everything is as it should be. In terms of location they are a very short walk from the beach or the main road where all the restaurants etc are so they are in a very good location. i would highly recommend staying at these studios

What a hostess! Nothing is too much trouble for Vasso and her lovely husband Pedro's, they have 2 lovely girls. The studios and apartments are well fitted and cleaned to a high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. Showers are great as well! Lovely apartments, in a lovely setting. Very clean, and the familly that run it are so nice and helpful. Nothing is too much for them. 5 minutes from shops, 5 minutes to the beach. Ideal place to stay, with use of the costas pool and bar just next door. We have stayed here a few times and will certainly be coming back. 10/10.

Was about 2 and a half miles walk from my hotel, but worth it. The staff, the atmosphere was so good that after walking 24 miles through the mountains of Zante the next day. I added the another 2.5 miles on so I could come and see a brilliant Elvis act on my final night before I had to fly back home. Which I could have stayed longer. Will be back. A must visit place for anyone visiting the island.

I did not stay here so I cannot comment on the rooms but I gave 5* anyway because we loved coming here for a drink at night. We didn't stay at the hotel, just went to one of the night performances. The cocktails are nice and the hotel is quite beautiful. The pool is big enough, the hotel is huge. This is really a very bad experience in my life! First of all, air conditioning needs to be paid for separately! I remember it cost 12 euros a day (note: if I remember correctly, it was this amount)! We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at diamond suites. We stayed in family apartment with two bedrooms and a day bed in the communal bit. We also had our own private pool which was fantastic for the kids aged 5 & 7. We also were able to go to the main bit of the hotel and swim and lounge by communal pool. It was a great vacation for us. The location and size of the apartment is amazing. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. The bathrooms definitely need major renovation.

The reception was very kindly and helpful. They called the taxi , printed the boarding card , allowed to stay a few hours extra for a minimal amount. The hotel has its own parking area , so you can leave your rented car park there safely.

We renamed the hotel ‘little eden’ after a few days. The location is perfect and seclusive, but perfect starting point to explore the rest of the island. Just returned from a week staying at this hotel. The location was perfect close to everything. The hotel was clean and rooms were a good size. Very clean, modern and had all the facilities you need. The beds were comfortable and we had a daily maid service. The pool area was nice and quiet. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved my stay here.

We loved this smaller family run set of apartments! A lovely area outside our rooms where we could sit and enjoy a snack and a drink (and dry our towels!). Fantastic service from the staff, they all worked so hard and were very helpful and polite. Rooms could have been a little bit better as I slipped a little a couple of times on the floor after a shower, a floor squeegee would have been nice. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee etc but plenty of access to refreshments in the main area. Two flights of stairs bit much for heavy suitcases and anyone...

Just returned from a wonderful week here. Friendly staff, nice small resort, shop just across the road, food was lovely, clean bedding everyday, just perfect. Beach is 1 minure from the hotel, perfect for watching the sunrise. Managed to see the fisherman feeding the turtle aswell. Also visited Shipwreck bay, zante town, kalamaki and more!

Fantastic stay from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We even cheekily asked for an upgrade to a room that opened onto the pool — expecting to pay — and to our surprise, they gave it to us for free! The food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the location was spot on. Only downside was the flies, wasps, and mosquitoes...

We met an old lady at first and she was the kindness personally. It is little bit further from the beach, but we were here for travel so we do not mind.

The owners were very friendly and the apartment was very clean. The location was great as well just a 2 min walk to the strip.
