Century Resort in Acharavi

What a horrible experience! Woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs crawling all over the sheets with bites! And I have got these checked by a GP which has confirmed they are bed bugs not mosquito bites! As they are painful even a week later!! I have got a video of them crawling over the bed which unfortunately I cannot attach. Decor was old, walls had patches of paint, was not clean. rooms had a horrible mouldy smell definitely lives up to it's name as it's all from last century!! We had to pay $15 euro a head for each night as tax which I think was extortionate. Would have been better off at a hostel. We couldnt use the pool as it was full off algae and dirty not safe! No carpark spaces either! Had to climb a mountain with luggage bags with steps to get to your room. Was honestly a holiday from hell. Do not recommend would not be coming back! Looks like all the good reviews must definitely be AI and fake!!!

This has been thr worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The pictures are very misleading. The hotel is very dated like from the 1970’s I hasn’t been decorated in years . The bed was so hard and mattress was so thin, it’s a back breaker! It has black mould underneath the cupboards . The bath tub is flimsy and feels like it’s going to cave in when you stand in there to have a shower. The hairdryer gets super hot so you can’t even hold it . The so called mini bar is never topped up , so if you have a hot drink the sugar coffee etc and it runs out you have t find your own . The sofa bed is filthy, like it has never seen soap and water from when it was manufactured. There no entertainment whatsoever. The cleaner doesn’t even clean properly. I would never come to the hotel ever again The onky bonus was the the pretty view

We spent a week here and I don't think we'll ever go back. The hotel is beautiful, especially the buildings at the bottom of the hill, but a bit unkempt. It's clean, but with mold and old painted doors, windows and walls. Would urgently need renovation. It was full of mosquitoes and wasps, you couldn't eat on the terrace because of them. Regarding the food (we had half board), that was the biggest disappointment. The breakfast was poor, the ham and salami looked like they had been sitting on the plate for two weeks, low-quality cheese and eggs, when you could still find them, unfried. Yogurt was missing and apple and orange juice were made from chemicals. Dinner was even worse. I could hardly eat anything, even if there were five or six dishes. All the meat was tasteless, without salt and pepper. The pork was either very, very tough or just gristle and fat. The side dishes were just as unappetizing as the rest. Nice, kind and friendly staff, except for the lady who was the head waiter at dinner. In conclusion, I'm sorry I paid so much money. It's not a four-star hotel at all, maybe a three-star one, with indulgence.
