Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks.There is a lovely bar in reception with comfortable seatind and this was never opened...3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel...

The first thing to say, is that, as with everything - you get what you pay for. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but is priced in the 3/4 star bracket - so please don’t be surprised that this is not 5 stars! That said - it’s a perfectly lovely hotel, and we had a great time! My only circumstances are bottled water is not free . No shower near main pool . Toilets not on same level as pool especially with children . -1 floor for indoor pool could potentially have a sauna /steam room to enhance the experience. Although the food choices are good. Maybe themed nights & pool snacks could be introduced.

Our stay at Insula Alba Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful - the hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and truly perfect for a peaceful vacation. I had to most wonderful stay/experience here, the staff could not do more to help, the staff were fun and engaging in all of the bars. The reception team, aways had a smile and were so helpful. Luxurious but a little remote The resort feels luxurious esp the bar area and the pool. Food is great. However, it is a bit remote and there’s nothing much around it. I guess it’s perfect for those who just want to enjoy the resort and not go anywhere.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and always available. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

We had a five night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service from reception was excellent. We found that the bar staff were slow and on occasions it was unmanned. The restaurant food was excellent although we found if it expensive.

Excellent hotel, staff are wonderful and can not do enough to help you. Location is superb, right on the beach and walking distance to town but still quiet and far enough away to avoid any hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately not all rooms are like those featured on YouTube. The room was dimly lit with little natural light due to outside trees and vegetation. The shower was over the bath with a fixed screen. We had a lovely week away in September, hotel is on the beach which is lovely and sandy. Lots of sun beds to choose from. Breakfast was very good, lunch and evening meals also very good.
