Insula Alba Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

Relaxing hotel with great spa. Can't rate staff here enough, nothing is too much trouble, Xsnthippi was amazing in releasing tension during my massage. Only niggle is smoking, where some guest are inconsiderate when sunbed are so close.

Just got back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at Insula Alba. This Hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Europe. The Rooms are great and having a swim up pool at the bottom of your sun loungers is top notch. The food was absolutely fantastic and had so much choice. The service was 5 star. We didn’t do much in the evening but there was always some entertainment going on at the pool bar. A Special thanks to Nikos the manager we saw every meal time who was always there and helpful. Maria who took care of my double espressos and coffee needs . Georgia the waitress that was always smiling and made us feel relaxed. But most of all our pool barman MANOS He was not only great at making any cocktail we asked for but went above and beyond to make us feel special and it actually felt like he was a long time friend. He made us want to go and hang out at the bar every day with his warm friendly demeanor. We would return to this hotel at a heart beat just to have drinks with Manos . Overall we will be returning to Crete and only to this hotel. Thanks for a memorable Holiday that my wife and I will not forget. Please pass on our thanks to the team and Manos

Had a fantastic time, staff brill, hotel brill, only fault was accessibility for mobility scooters, yes, there were a few ramps, but, up stairs to the piano room ( there was a lift) but there was a step to get into the bar, the walkway wasn't very wide either, the door we had to open to reach our room has a small step the scooter had problems with this. I have mentioned all this to the reception staff, who said they would pass our concerns on

Very good spa experience. Very friendly and kind staff and lovely environment. My partner and I loved how they worked so hard on our knots - we had a lot!

Spa services. Had the full package, seemed expensive but after visiting it's well worth the money. Dimitris knows his stuff, supportive, professional and can't ask for more. Would definitely recommend.

swim-up room complete waste of money, water so cold painful getting in and no better once you were in, took the breath of you and a pleasure getting out, no parasols provided to keep the sun of you, the main pool water same some parasols provided there, did complain to reception about the coldness only to be told there was an indoor pool which was heated, who goes on holiday to a hot country in summer pays a lot extra for a swim-up room but uses an indoor pool instead. On a plus point cleanliness really good, staff excellent both at the bar and restaurant, tips not expected for service. Would return if not for the temperature of the pool water.

I always find a negative in most hotels I stay at, but not this hotel. Excellent 2 week stay from start to finish. Food was delicious and the staff (all staff) are excellent. Special mentions to Manos, Eleni and Nikos who all go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. We stayed in room 1009 (swim up) which was excellent. Comfy bed and mini bar replenished daily if all inclusive. Bottle of wine and raki in the room on arrival and a personal letter thanking us for choosing to celebrate our anniversary at their hotel. It is very rare I return to the same hotel but would not hesitate in returning to Insula Alba. Totally faultless!

Insula Alba is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff are so friendly, food is varied and delicious. Check out those sunsets as well! TUI rep always on hand to help you and they were there from Airport to hotel guiding you along the way. Well recommended, well done TUI....really well done.

Spa Treatment was excellent with Snizhane as the therapist. The deep tissue massage was excellent and would recommend to anyone to anyone visiting. Snizhane was professional and attentive and made the experience relaxing. Overall the hotel itself was brilliant and would recommend. We had a private pool room that got afternoon sun (from around 12-6pm) and this was perfect

If I could rate this hotel 6 stars I would. I have been to many Tui hotels of the same rating and this one has something special! Manos and Kostas at the pool bar are PHENOMENAL and both truly make the holiday - I really really hope they are here next year for my 30th! They create a wonderful atmosphere - wonderful bar drinks, always filling everyone with laughs! The staff are beyond friendly and could do not more for you - I have never experienced such care and passion for jobs. The hotel and facilities are incredibly clean and the rooms are amazing! Mira my room maid was so lovely and wonderful too!
