Fantastic Holiday from start to finish the most amazing experience, service beyond expectation. Breakfast was varied and very nice every day. Dinners were also especially nice. The pool was beautiful and highly recommend thd bar if you want a drink with a smile from Manos, thank you for your amazing service and coffee with cinnamon. Overall would return with no hesitation.

The location of the hotel is ideal. It is near all the local amenities. There is a supermarket around the corner which I believe is open until late. Many beach side restaurants. We found a little farmers market where we bought gifts. There is a lot do there on and off site. The atmosphere is very peaceful the white sofas in reception give that calming effect. You are welcomed very well..with orange juice and are checked in very quickly. I forgot the lady's name but you checked us and you were lovely. We came off a late flight and we offered food which was very thoughtful. We were escorted to our room. However a tour of the hotel would have been ideal at this point. We were given a leaflet with a lot of information which highlighted all that we need to know for our next seven days. We had a duplex suite. What can we day it was amazing. We were confused that there was no sofa bed as stated within the room as we are cousins we wanted our own space also...without hesitation the next day a single bed was provided. We were happy as we didn't want to move rooms. Rooms are clean and tea coffee and welcome ozsu is provided. We slept well although it was cold at times. TV channels could have more English speaking channels but Sky news was fine. We were half bored so it was value for money although we wished at times we could have skipped breakfast and had lunch and dinner. As we often returned late from going out. Food was ok...good selection but often repetitive. We are carribean and we found the food to be rather bland but we were respectful of the culture and ate what was provided. Staff are attentive by taking drinks orders. I feel that a better system should be place rather than staff insisting that you sign a sheet whilst your trying to eat..I also found staff were often in a rush to see if you had finished eating to take your plate. It was annoying at times. Also being told that we couldn't seat at a four seated table because we are two people. Staff that we really took a shine to were Norbeth and another member of staff (also from the Philippines..they work so hard and aim to please. We often praised them to the manager. We also would like to acknowledge Vera the cleaner and the other cleaner from Senegal. As its adults only the noise level was limited hardly heard a thing at night. Being disabled suffering from chronically kidney disease. I struggle with walking long distances. We were able to call for the buggy when needed real special thank to the porters Nickolas, Demetri, Yanis and Alex...you just made our lives so much easier. We are truly grateful The gentleman at the desk at night...you are so polite..im sorry I forgot your name but when I had to get up super early for dialysis you always on hand to send Nichoklas to my rescue...im sorry I didn't get to see you to tip you like the others Nickolas but we appreciate you carrying our heavy bags and picking me up of a morning. The gentleman on the desk throughout the day you are truly amazi

Horrendous, building site views, scabby bald lawns with plastic pipes exposed. Advertising 2 pools when there is one. Its deep and with minimal steps. No good if you cant swim or under 5ft 6in.

Our stay at Insula Alba Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful - the hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and truly perfect for a peaceful vacation. The spa experience was exceptional: Dimitris and Emma were both professional, kind, and gave us one of the best treatments we’ve ever had. Everything was flawless, we only wish there were more vegetarian options in the dining selection. Highly recommended!

First visit to Crete and so glad we chose TUI Blue Insula Alba, we were a family of 5 adults and from start to finish, we had the most excellent welcome and every day was so special. Big shout out to all the staff, everyone we came across was amazing, even the friendly cats! Manos at the bar was so entertaining and greeted us every day. Entertainment team were amazing too from darts to creative corner, just brilliant. We had two double rooms and a shared swim up room, all were fantastic. Also did a couple of trips, Knossos Palace and Santorini, both brilliant but try and do them when not many cruise ships are coming in. The nearby village is lovely too, with many local shops. Also visit the turtle/terrapins which is nearby too and free to see. Thank you Insula Alba, we will be back!

First time staying in a TUi Blue resort and couldn’t fault it. Stayed in a Duplex Junior Suite - king bed upstairs and single downstairs and as I was travelling with my friend this room was perfect as we also had two bathrooms. The Reps were friendly and enthusiastic and always stopped to chat to the guests. The restaurant and reception staff were also great. Special mention to Manos and all the pool bar staff who were outstanding and genuinely look like they enjoy their job - always greeting guests with a smile and joke. Food in restaurant was nice but could get repetitive with lots of pork dishes. Also had a very good meal in Culinarium (apart from the chicken soup but the tomato soup was delicious). We enjoyed the entertainment especially the silent disco. We don’t often return to the same hotel but I would definitely return here and recommend to others! Well done to all staff x

This hotel is advertised as a 5* but I would say it was more a low 4*, there is only a buffet restaurant and also a alacarte option which you use once throughout your stay, this was very disappointing and the food was much better in the buffet, alacarte it is not. We complained and we're told guest relations would speak to with us they never did.We did go into the little town and have some fabulous meals. The staff at this hotel are very welcoming and on the whole it is clean, if you look in some of the areas around the hotel eg toilets they could do with a deeper clean. The pools are lovely and we had a swim up room which was fab although we requested a later check out on our departure day we had to leave our room as we were told the hotel was full, this did put a damper on our last day and we spent alot of time hanging about. The hotel itself lacks personality everywhere is white and in places it looks cheap, especially in reception a bit of colour would make all the difference.we have stayed at many 5* resorts and unfortunately I wouldn't return, more negative points for me than positive, a big downside is the lack of restaurants and it was rather an expensive holiday.

Really nice hotel, the staff were excellent and would do as much as possible to help. We had an issue with our room in the first couple of days and the staff at reception offered and solution promptly and followed up the next day and made sure the issue was resolved. Manos at the pool bar was also excellent, the staff in the restaurant were also great. The hotel is lovely and quiet even around the main pool in the morning there was always beds available. There doesn’t seem to be an issue with reserving beds and even gone midday there were plenty of beds available which was nice. We had a private pool room which had sun from midday ish until the sun went down which was lovely to spend the afternoons here. Would recommend requesting a room starting with 21 as this whole row had the same sun. The only reason I wouldn’t rate this hotel was the food was a slight let down compared to other lower star all inclusive we have stayed at. The breakfast was great and plenty of sweet/Savory options as well as cakes and donuts. The lunch was slightly repetitive but again was enough choice for lunch. We found the dinner was a let down, the same food pretty much every night only really chips or potatoes on offer would have been nice to have slight variation in this, we also found that the themed nights weren’t very themed it was just the same food on offer as every other night. Overall, the hotel is lovely and the staff are faultless all very polite and helpful. The room was great and I would visit again but I don’t think I would go all inclusive as the food isn’t worth the price you pay.

The best deep tissue massage I've had. Highly recommend Dimitris. Great pressure. Very polite & professional. Relaxing environment.

Just returned from a week at Tui blu Insula Alba, it was our first ever swim up room and we loved it, our only gripe was that there was no parasol to shade you from the sun. We did ask at reception but they said it wasn’t possible to supply one. Our room was cleaned every day, which was nice and the maids work really hard and are very friendly. Apart from the freshly cooked omelette’s we were a little disappointed with the breakfasts, the dinner of an evening was good but never varied much from day to day, the desserts were the best part, so many to choose from. We dined on our last night in the cullinarium which was very nice and was waiter service, this was only available for one night of your stay and had to be booked in advance. We swapped our dinner for lunch on one occasion and ate out at a traditional Greek restaurant called Sirtaki, which was delicious and would strongly recommend, the owners were all very friendly and even gave us complimentary drinks at the end of our meal. We extended our room on the last day which we glad we did, but is cheaper to do this through Tui before your holiday as it was a lot cheaper than doing through the hotel. There were 2 bars, the main pool bar which we only used a few times and the quieter piano bar, the drinks at the hotel were expensive so we went out every night to a bar across the road called Achino’s, we got very friendly with one of the waiters who would chat with us most nights. ( Edward ) Overall the hotel is nice and we would return but only to a swim up room.
