This hotel is amazing, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I went to the spa and had a full body massage and facial I loved everything about these treatments, my facial was done by Antonis and it was great my skin felt so hydrated, and my body massage was done by Maria she’s fantastic!! Despite losing a couple of days to very poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. This is a small resort—just two restaurants and two bars—which initially made us a little unsure, as it’s the smallest we’ve ever stayed in. However, this actually turned out to be one of its biggest strengths. The atmosphere is relaxed yet intimate, and every member of staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a real highlight. Although it’s primarily buffet-style, the quality and variety were outstanding. We enjoyed themed nights including Greek, Italian, and Asian cuisine, all fresh and beautifully prepared—easily the best food we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive. When the weather kept everyone indoors, the hotel handled it brilliantly. The lobby comfortably accommodated guests, and the staff were fantastic—constantly bringing drinks and clearing tables efficiently. We spent hours there playing cards, reading, and chatting, all while enjoying views of the pool and beach. One unexpected highlight was watching planes come in to land nearby. You can definitely see and hear them, but we found it entertaining—guessing the airlines and checking arrivals. It didn’t bother us at all. In the evenings, when the weather improved, the outdoor lounge area had a great vibe. With a DJ playing chilled house music, it had a real Ibiza feel. The grounds throughout the hotel were spotless. Sunbeds around the pool are limited, but there are always plenty available on the beach. Definitely download the hotel app—it’s a game changer. You can order food and drinks directly to your sunbed, check the weather, browse evening entertainment, and even book the gym. The gym is quite small, so you may need to wait for equipment (possibly more noticeable due to bad weather), but the attached outdoor space is a bonus. I used it for a Pilates session under the bamboo shade, which was lovely. We stayed in a swim-up room. Although the water isn’t heated (and far too cold for us in April), the room itself was fantastic. Unlike other swim-up rooms we’ve had, this one was a real sun trap. After time on the beach, it was perfect to return with a glass of wine and relax on the loungers. The rooms are stylish with a boho feel. Beds are comfortable, though slightly firm (typical for Europe). The shower is excellent, though it can soak the bath mat a bit. The hairdryer—fixed in the drawer—is actually quite decent for a hotel. There’s plenty of wardrobe space and storage. We also visited the spa, which costs €20 per person for one hour. It includes a sauna, steam room, and showers, and was a great way to break up a rainy day. It’s clean, limited to four people at a time, and very relaxing—though it would benefit from having bottled water available. Hotel far exceeded our expectations. We thought it would be good but it was excellent. We were a group of 10 celebrating a birthday and they really could not do enough for us. Our only small criticism was we booked on one booking thinking all our rooms would be next door to each other, so we didn’t annoy others, we had a room between us and the other guests we felt didn’t like that. I would highly recommend every thing about it and would definitely return, less than 10 mins from airport. Stylish hotel, clean and modern, Food and drink quality excellent. We came to this hotel for our honeymoon so chose it particularly because it was a small, beach front, all inclusive and highly rated hotel. We stayed in a room with a shared swim up pool. The positives are plentiful. The hotel is gorgeously furnished and well laid out. We loved the outside spaces especially and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing both in the all inclusive restaurant and the a la carte restaurant. So much choice and all very high quality. Our room was fantastic and we loved having the extra luxury of the swim up pool for starting and ending the day, although spent most of our time on the stunning beach which is right outside. We arrived very late and were delighted to find a plate of meats and cheeses and other treats in our room. The door had been adorned with a ribbon and wooden heart to recognise our honeymoon and a bottle or red wine with a card was inside. A really lovely touch. Other positives included the little reading library upstairs where I managed to leave my two finished books for other visitors to enjoy and the waiter service to the sun loungers which was absolutely outstanding. We ordered cocktails and drinks and lovely lunches on the app and they were delivered quickly and with a smile everytime. First class! A couple of niggles to mention although it wouldn't put us off returning, (once there is a new airport because that was a whole different story) My husband had an enbarrassing moment where he accidentally used the ladies toilets in the hotel. He came out mortified but assured me that he had checked the sign and it was the same as the downstairs toilet sign for the mens toilets. So we checked it out! The black symbol for mens toilets downstairs and outside is indeed the exact same symbol used inside the hotel for the women toilets! ( to be fair there was some white lettering underneath the symbols but it was stuck onto a white door so not very obvious and my husband’s eye sight isn't that great so he hadn't even seen it!) It might be worth managers checking it out. Also, we were informed that we could use the a la carte restaurant twice on a 10 day stay so we booked for a couple of days after arriving and when we went to book again it said there must be 9 clear says between bookings. If we had known that we would have booked immediately on arrival so that felt a little unfair but the food was great anyway so no real problem. Finally, the lovely gesture of a bottle of red wine that we were given for our honeymoon, and which we were going to bring home to celebrate with loved ones was spolit when it was removed from our room the day before we checked out by the cleaning staff. I was gutted about this and probably should have complained but that's just not my style. It should have remained until after check out I believe, so that guests who may have saved it for their last night of holiday or who wanted to take it home are not let down. Stayed week of 21 August. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Staff constantly cleaning inside and out. Not many sun beds around the pool but could still find around 8.30. Plenty all day on the lovely beech. Plenty of choices for food over the week with the option of burgers etc from pool bar delivered to loungers. Excellent cocktails available and served by great staff. Evening entertainment not so great tbh. Reception arranged a taxi for us to visit Heraklion one day. €25 each way or could have used local bus. Was able to arrange to keep a room to 6pm on our leaving day. Was €60 but was well worth it for 4 of us to be able to enjoy our last day. Special mention to Kleo serving drinks etc in the evening who was always welcoming and remembered drinks from previous. Will certainly return.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, look no further. We stayed at Unique Blue for my mother’s birthday and it was beyond amazing. From the warm welcome with champagne, a delicious cake, fruit platter and card, to the breathtaking sea-view room and infinity pool – every moment felt magical. The service is what truly sets this resort apart. Every staff member was kind, attentive and professional. The manager even arranged a surprise fine dining experience at Thymises – world-class cuisine in a stunning setting. Add to that spotless housekeeping, excellent all-inclusive dining, and thoughtful farewell gifts, and you get an unforgettable experience. We only stayed two nights, but left with lifetime memories. Unique Blue is a resort that knows how to make guests feel truly special – highly recommended and we can’t wait to return!

My wife and I visited over 25 countries and sometimes more than once, to say this hotel is one of the best I’ve ever been to is understatement the hotel location close to the airport and close to town. Room is excellent and very very clean, I stayed in garden view from my experience at beach resort the music could be loud and I wasn’t wrong, the food was one of the best I’ve eaten and the selection is great. Will definitely comeback.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places I have been to!! From the get go everything was perfect. We were given a swim up pool room, which is honestly absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. Although the sun beds are sparse, and always gone by 7:45/8am when we went for breakfast, there were plenty of spaces on the beach which is just as beautiful! There’s an app to order drinks to your bed whether at the pool or on the beach. Watching the planes going past us being so close to the airport was a lot of fun! The rooms are beautiful, the staff incredible and the whole holiday was incredible. We are most definitely coming back again, I really cannot wait to spend more time here! The two little dogs on the beach who came and sat beside us most days, chilling in the shade was just the sweetest way to start a day!!
