Brown Acropol, a Member of Brown Hotels in Athens

Great location & good service. Unfortunately, individual room temperature adjustment isn't possible, which made the room far too warm. Even with constant ventilation, it couldn't cool down (outside temperature approx. 13-24 degrees Celsius). A kind cleaning staff member provided us with a fan, but its noise didn't contribute to better sleep quality.

The 'air conditioning' (a central system, adjustable only by a dial, not by temperature) unfortunately only heats until May and couldn't be turned off. The TV only has satellite and isn't internet-enabled (no HDMI ports could be found either).

The breakfast was very delicious and varied, offering everything from vegetables, salad, fish, and meat to pancakes, muesli, yogurt, and fruits.

Coffee could be obtained from a machine during breakfast. However, for those who enjoy good coffee, this machine is not recommended. Additionally, the hotel has a gym & a sauna. The latter, contrary to our assumption, is not included in the hotel costs and must be paid for separately (€15 for 30 minutes). On the hotel's rooftop terrace, there are a total of 4 'Hot Tubs,' three of which were functional. These can be used free of charge and without booking (approx. 37.5-40 °C).

The gym features a pull-up bar, two cable towers, dumbbells (6-30kg), a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer. There was also a stationary bike, but it was broken.

Overall, the hotel offers a great location, but due to the temperature issue, the nights were unfortunately not at all restful. A shame.

It was a really pleasant stay at the Brown hotel. Excellent location, really kind stuff. Room was clean and warm. And the manager Stive is there to make a difference in the positive way with all his help. Enjoy

Nice, cozy hotel - nothing exceptional, but it did the job. Good breakfast and a lovely view from the rooftop restaurant.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to the subway station. The staff were incredibly polite and truly deserve praise.

The location is great, and our deluxe double room was comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection, and there's a hot tub on the rooftop. However, a few of the facilities were a bit dated.

The Brown Hotel in Athens is decorated in a stunning 80's style. Great food and great service Breakfast on the 9th floor with a view of Athens. When we arrived the hotel staff kindly welcomed us with a glass of cold cava, were kind and accommodating, listened to any request we wanted, we set up in the hammam only our hour (free!). The room is clean, stocked with Nespresso coffee machine and water every day, as the hotel is 10 minutes walk from Syntagma and a minute walk from Omonia metro station. We had so much fun - we organized everything in two days. The prices are absolutely fair. - For those who, like us, suffer from fever, it was impossible to push the anger to the cold - something scared us a little, but in return they offered a fan. In short - recommended!

I was impressed with this hotel for the price I paid. Very centralised, with the metro station right there. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets only steps away. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Lots of pillows on the bed. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some. Free water as well. The breakfast was copious. So much choices. I love the terrace. There are jacuzzis on the terrace! I also ate at the restaurant, which as very good. The staff are very friendly. The deco is cool as well. I’ll come back next time I’m in Athens.

Lovely hotel with loads of amenities and such lovely staff! Breakfast was fantastic and I found a gem, the honey comb, was to die for! 😋
