Couldn't have asked for a better stay! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we were so impressed. It was super clean and safe. The staff was so warm and helpful that they even remembered us after we left for a couple of nights in Santorini. The bistro was delicious and affordable, and the spa was the cherry on top.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! Close to everything you want to see, eat, and do! The location is perfect! The bed was super comfortable, the shower was lovely, and the reception staff were so friendly and helpful! Whatever we needed, they helped us! You can even WhatsApp them when you're out and about! We also had a 60-minute coupe massage at the spa, and it was fantastic! Can't wait to come back!

Enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Gem Society Hotel. Wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble (eg requested kettle and tea in the room) squeaky clean room and bathroom, funky functional design and delicious breakfast. Super comfy beds, great toiletries, absolutely quiet at night. One evening ate in Muse, the hotel’s bistro which was outstanding. This is a classy hotel in a fascinating neighborhood, all sites walkable. Would definitely come back.
Only gripe, TV has no iOS connectivity or apps that work for screen mirroring.

Our room had a bad smell of sewage and was dark during day time since the room face an inner stairwell. The hotel was going through construction. The breakfast is very tasty but not buffet, by cart and after three days you want something else that’s not on the menu. The staff is very nice and professional. Overall a 3 in my opinion.

Great location (that is honestly the only positive thing about this hotel). When u stay in a « boutique » hotel for 4 nights and u pay ur room over 200Eur you’d expect to have at least a window in ur room. I’ve never been in my life in a room where u don’t have any natural light in the room as the window faces indoor staircases not the outside. So u must always have the lights on and curtains closed whether it’s 9am, 4pm or 3 am. Doesn’t matter. If you decide to open the curtains, every single person can see you when leaving their room. We have complained and the staff simply proposed to us the exact same room but just a bit further from ours… lights in the toilet didn’t work/ you could hear people leaving at 4 am to catch their flights/ the cleaning ladies every morning at 8 am shouting with the doors open/ breakfast: even included, u must pay for ur second coffee if u want one… honestly chocking for a 4* hotel. We had breakfast once there and preferred to go outside and enjoy Greek food. I do not recommend at all this hotel !! The only positive point is the location which allowed us to enjoy nice restaurants and bars in the area.

Fresh towels every day are so classy!

The windows in our rooms were to a stairwell, not to outside, which was a little unusual. We kept the curtain pulled the whole time, so it did feel a little like a windowless dorm room. But the hotel is very nice, quiet, functional, and a great location walking distance to most attractions.

Excellent staff, very helpful with every aspect of the trip. Breakfast was amazing! Even if you don’t get a deal with breakfast included, it was fantastic. Room was clean and excellent water pressure and showering products. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be conditioner in the shower for hair! Temperature control in the room is good, and we didn’t hear any noise from near by rooms or stairwells. Would highly recommend Gem society.

‎‏We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights.. we felt unsafe because the housekeeper lady came at our room while we were sleeping in the room.. we asked them a refund because the hotel is unsafe and they refused it ..then we decided to complete the stay .. later the housekeeper lady opened the room while we were IN THE ROOM !!! she said oh sorry I didn’t know that you are in the room “we but DND tag on the door” . At the checkout time we politely asked the hotel staff that we will be late for 30 minutes they told us that they may charge us, we said ok but after 15 minutes the housekeeper lady opened the room while we still in it, she said go out I want to clean!! it is your check out time!!! When we went to the checkout counter ,the lady who called her self as a manger asked us for a charge in disrespectful way, she said you were late I am going to charge you “with high voice note” then I told her that we were late only for 30 minutes it is unacceptable to charge for one night !! then she said ok go out then she opened the hotel door!!! .. if you want a pleasant experience in Athens please don’t choose this unsafe hotel because it is like half star hotel with disrespectful staff especially the manager, she is very unprofessional lady !! I advise her to stay at home and take care of her children because she will deal with you like she is in home not business

The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful and the cafe had really tasty food. The location is right next to the Acropolis and all other major tourist attractions, which is really convenient.

However, there is a night club right next to the hotel, and it's absolutely impossible to sleep when they're having a party, since the windows aren't soundproofed at all. I would've given this place 5 stars otherwise.
20.10.2024 Nadav
Overall the hotel itself is great. The problem is that they have a club next door, and the noise is intense. Every weekend night until 3:30am you hear the music and the bass is booming. The hotel itself is good. The staff is great, but the club next door is a giant problem.
