Amazing staff, great room for our family. Walkable location with lots of quick eats and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend

Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed a smoke smell that seemed to be covered with a strong artificial fragrance. The odor did not smell fresh and was quite overpowering. While there was a distinct scent in the hotel in general, the smell was significantly stronger inside my room.
I stayed for no more than two hours, as the smell made me feel physically unwell, and I had to leave to find another hotel. Despite explaining the situation and requesting a refund, I was charged for the full three-night stay.
The reception staff was polite and courteous; however, that alone does not justify a 5-star rating. The lobby is small, and there is ongoing road construction next to the hotel, which further detracts from the overall experience.
Based on my experience, I would not consider this a true 5-star hotel. Guests who are sensitive to smell or strong fragrances, may wish to consider alternative accommodations.

My first impression of Athens was on the rooftop of this wonderful hotel! The hotel staff are simply wonderful! Thank you so much for such hospitality!

A quaint boutique hotel nestled gently away from the busy streets of center city. A stones throw away from a strip of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Margarita and her staff were kind, patient and professional. I stayed 2 days, checked out for an excursion to Santorini, and checked back in for 1 day stay before leaving for the states. The second room was surprisingly more colorful and I thank the staff for the complimentary items!

We arrive from Athens airport by Metro @€9 each -20-30min to Monastiraki station hotel is 5-8min easy walk away situated in the heart of Athens Psiri area, lots of cafes, supermarkets, boutique shops in Ermou & Monastiraki flea market all very close by.
Acropolis & other ancient sites close walking distance
Staff & service at this hotel are excellent, they go above & beyond - even when my husband wasn’t well, they were very accommodating asking if we needed anything- was able to take him in the morning as he couldn’t come to breakfast some fresh juice, & other foods up to our room for him. Property has elevator, can store luggage if needed, taxi can pick you up right outside the door ( bonus as hubby wasn’t well) great home style Greek breakfast
Have stayed multiple times and would definitely stay again. Can be a bit noisy in evening as the case when we stayed in early September 2025.

Nice boutique hotel. The rooms are very modern and decorated in different color schemes based on the floor of the hotel you stay on. The king sized suite was very comfortable and the rain shower was absolutely enormous. Down sides: there was no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the room, so changing after the shower became an issue with my kids in the room. Also, the door separating the two areas of the suite was completely translucent glass, so again changing became a struggle. The view from my room looked out onto the street, which wasn't much of a view at all. My only other real complaint would be there was no iron or ironing board, but perhaps that's not a common thing in Europe. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. There are an enless variety of shops and cafés within a stones throw and the room was very clean and comfortable for my family of four.

My family had an amazing stay at Athens4. Blew away my expectations. Perfect location in the center of everything but still quiet and safe. Rooms & Lobby were very clean. Breakfast was very unique and delicious. Provided cucumber infused ice water throughout the day in the lobby along with jars of cookies … a nice touch. The ladies working the front were very friendly and super helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. In a very good location. The rooms are really nice and well decorated. The staff are extremely nice and professional. Especially- Margarita- always smiling. Always helpful- great service ❤️

am really kind to give one star for this hotel
the best thing the reception man , but the others very bad
i use to reserve one room for five nights two weeks before the arrive , but when i reached the hotel , they told me your reservation was cancelled , we have electrical problem , the photos in the web totally different , the photoshop play major role in the photos .

Location, location, location. You can be at Monastiraki, Thiseio, Syntagma, Omonoia, Panepistimio within minutes. Nice and quiet room!

Breakfast incl. Great location near everything but difficult to find as it is tucked away off on a side street Staff is very helpful and the room is spacious, beautiful, clean, all amenities...and there is an elevator!!!!
