Polis Grand Hotel in Athens

The check-in was very warm and speedy. Hotel itself was just a few minutes walk from the Rail station in Omonia Station.

The Duo at the reception were very friendly and warm, always smiling and saying hello. That was one of the best experiences at this hotel.

The Breakfast was good also with a lot of options, but almost the same every morning which on the long run made it somewhat predictable for me.

The rooftop restaurant view was good, but the food itself was not as good for the price. We had the Prawns and Salmon and it was tasteless. We didn't go up there again after the trail throughout our 7 nights stay.

Rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed which was a plus, we had a room with a balcony so it was easy to get some fresh air into the room from time to time. Wi-fi was fast enough for work meetings. The room itself was a bit aged and dated, but still very much alive and neat. The bathroom was spacious and clean.

The water was quite hard so it was not a plus, but overall I'll say that it was a good experience.

Overall experience was good, tourist attraction’s site are within walking distance . Safe location. FnB availability easy to find.

We stayed post-celestyal cruise. The view from the rooftop restaurant was great. The food was excellent, including staff interactions. Very patient. Answering whatever questions we had even seeking out the answers if they didn't know. I can't stop talking about the Sunday breakfast spread. Well laid out, variety, freshness was awesome.

Our first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.

The breakfast was very rich with a wide variety. The staff were warm and friendly.

Very friendly staff. clean room. Amazing rooftop bar. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

The location is good, but the hotel facilities are average, the room size and sanitary environment need to be improved.

Easy access and near the train station next to me Zara

The family room is average, the window is an interior view, looking out to an atrium. There is no sun, and the sofa bed is average in texture. The bottled water in the refrigerator seems to be charged, but I didn't drink it anyway. The advantage is that the breakfast is very rich. One meal is enough for half a day.
