Very clean and very convenient location! In the center, everything is right next to you.
The rooms here are of a decent size its in a really good central location easy access to trams and busses. There was still some building going on near by I seen some reviews mentioning this. The staff have been so good to me my room always tidied each day for me and water replaced. I even lost my phone in Athens centre and they were able to help speak to the guy that found it. ❤️
Great hotel, great communication. We checked in very late and someone was on the desk to greet us. Very grateful for a wonderful stay, thank you!
We had a very nice 5 day stay here with our family, We had a corner room with view to the pool and unfortunately a noisy construction sight at day time. Room was spacious with air conditioning and a very nice shower with rainfall shower head as well as normal shower. Little fridge for cold drinks, it’s a minibar fridge so don’t expect 4 degrees inside. Very friendly and smiling staff, good breakfast...
Excellent location in Glyfada Beach area. Incredible amount of high-end shops, restaurants, and bars. Easy flat walk to the beach. The pool is very nice. The breakfast room is light, and offerings are tasty.
Excellent, the staff is super🥰, thank you very much

Nice, quiet location. My room was with a terrace. Mini-bar (non-alcol only) was inclusive. Excellent breakfast and restaurant location with wide high windows. Well, I missed a sauna, as in February the outdoor pool cannot be used.
Last year's Christmas at Civitel was dreamy! Clean and beautiful rooms, pleasant staff and great buffets! Very close to "The mall", where you can even go on foot. The location is suitable for Christmas holidays, we loved it. It also has a swimming pool so it will be just as perfect in the summer. Of course we will visit it again, thank you very much 😁
It's a pleasure to stay here. The staff is very polite and at your disposal at any time. The restaurant serves an exquisite breakfast every morning and throughout the day a variety of meals. The hotel is situated at a quiet area which sets your mind at ease. It has all the amenities that are required and a pool too. The bedroom is very nice too that is complemented with a large balcony. I recommend...
Not a bad budget hotel - it is supposed to be 4-star but i would call it more in line with a 3-star hotel! Service is good enough but a lot of issues in the room and restaurant. It's the first time that i have seen an open plan shower in the bedroom area (and just opposite the bed)!! And water was leaking out of the shower area into the bedroom (not much but enough to be a danger perhaps to older people...
Had a nice experience at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all I asked for. Common area in the pool was very nice. Room was comfortable. Breakfast quality could improve a bit but overall they had different options. Would stay here again and would recommend if you’re staying in the area. Did not really try connections with public transport.
Rooms were clean, pool was great and restaurant food was delicious! We will definitely visit again.

Overall, the hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, our room had several significant issues. The bed, which is one of the most important aspects of a stay, was uncomfortable - the mattress was too firm, and the pillows were flat. Duck feather pillows were provided, but they had a strong odor and appeared unclean, which could pose health risks. Additionally, there was visible...
Too much noise, couldn't sleep a wink!
This Garden Inn was our home away from home in Athens in Dec 2025. The hotel is recently refurbished to a tasteful, practical and high quality standard. The beds are comfortable and the decor is pleasing. We had a warm welcome and a kind attention from both the reception and cleaning staff each day. They have a practical and modern gym and the rooftop bar and lounge is pleasant to stay in. I'm sure...
We had a great experience at the Hilton Gardens Inn Athens. We picked this hotel for it's location to the cruise port. We were very impressed with the quality of the staff we met. Komissa and Tatiana at the front desk were wonderful. They always had time to answer our questions and were very patient in helping us understand how to navigate around town. We appreciated their help and kindness. In...
This is definitely not a regular Hilton Garden Inn. Like a boutique hotel, so nice! Great staff, pool and rooftop are 5 star level. We definitely will be back. Rooms are clean and nice, small by American standards but accurate by European standard. Love this hotel, service rocks. Ask for Orfeas in the bar, he’s the best!
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on Syngrou Avenue after a last-minute change of plans due to a ferry strike. We arrived late in the evening and found the neighborhood to be less charming than other parts of Athens. The area felt busy and a bit rough around the edges, with lots of traffic and not much atmosphere. It didn’t feel unsafe, but it definitely lacked the character and magic that other central...

Good hotel not far from the center. The rooms are old, but for one night it is quite suitable. We lived on the 7th floor, view of the Acropolis
We liked how close this property was to the Acropolis and nice restaurants, all with a 30 minute wall or less. However, when our Uber driver dropped us off he warned us not to go out at night because it was not a safe area. On our walks, we saw a lot of things that told us that was probably pretty accurate. The libby of the hotel was pretty nice. You could get specialty coffes, tea, pastries, etc....
How you enjoy your your stay here depends which direction you choose when exiting the hotel. It is essential to turn left then left again and carry on to shops and restaurants.A right turn will take you past what the other reviews have mentioned, and most likely result in a bad review

Comfortable hotel close to metro and short walk to fantastic dining on the way to Monastiaki Square. Great value, clean room, breakfast available and coffee in the lobby. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend this hotel in the heart of Athens.
The hotel is used to sleep while you are in Athens for a couple of days, the location is complicated, since it is located in an unsafe neighborhood at night and quite abandoned and dirty. Otherwise it is fine.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. The service was good, and the breakfast had a great selection. The hotel is conveniently located by the port, making transportation easy.
Brilliant , offered more than I expected. Wonderful staff. Wish I could stay longer
Greeted by a very friendly receptionist Emily. The building is modern and well maintained, and everything in the room worked. The breakfast was plentiful. Right by Piraeus metro station is exit and the port so ideally located for a morning ferry.
Great location to the cruise ports and ferry staff was friendly to work with. And there's a restaurant with 10% discount at the location free breakfast in morning, with hotel stay
Exceeded our expectations. Brilliantly located for Piräus but even for Athens. Clean, spacious, fridge and coffee machine in the room, very friendly and efficient service. Next time again.
Perfect location if you need to take an early ferry. The staff is friendly and helpful as well that allowed us to use the microwave from the restaurant to heat up our own meal.

Great hotel, close to the beach, you can take a tram and/or bus to go to Athens. The street is not active and you can sleep longer. Restaurants on the embankment are within walking distance, you can also walk to the center of Glyfada. We stayed at this hotel several times, the staff is friendly and polite! Really nice place, rooftop got such amazing view The breakfast is really good. The room is small but it was fine for the 2 of us with 1 bag. Bathroom was really nice. We stayed here for Christmas and it was a great hotel and the staff were super helpful and very accommodating and nice. We appreciate the room change after we expressed discomfort over the bathrooms (all the bathroom doors are see through and the doors do not close properly and can be particularly awkward if you are sharing a room especially when the bathroom door is in front of the bed). The beds...
We had a very nice stay at the Lekka Hotel. The staff was friendly and informative and the private spa was a lovely experience. It is located very close to all the sights and good food spots. The rooftop was closed since our stay was during winter. Despite this, we were able to go up there to enjoy the view, which was very nice. I can highly recommend!
Room was clean, however the staff were incredible! They were so accommodating and very polite. Our flight home was canceled and they were able to accommodate our stay to extend to one more night and very understanding of the situation.
I didn’t understand why this hotel has so high feedbacks. Good design, but really small room. I didn’t sleep all night long, because was so loud music from the bar.
Certainly not a 4 star - simple breakfast. The hotel was overall good; however, I would no way rate it 4 star hotel, maybe a 2 or 3 at best. One night I came late and I could open the main door with my card but there was no one at the reception for a pretty long while. The Spa was always booked and hard to get a time for it. The rooftop which indeed had a very nice view was nice but the bar, as shown...

Good hotel. Very convenient location. There are many taverns, cafes and gelaterias nearby. Since it is very difficult to find something decent for a normal price in Athens. The price is of course overpriced for the location, not for the service in the hotel. But as in all of Europe. Good and new hotels are not about Europe(((.
Very nice cjty hotel, well located, clean and tidy. Friendly staff, nice rooftop restaurant with great views.
The hotel's location, cleanliness, staff, everything is perfect. The breakfast room and breakfast were all very nice. Our room with a view of the Acropolis and the breakfast room added beauty to our trip. We left very satisfied.

We had a lovely stay at the Y Hotel, all in all. The breakfast was nice, and the staff were very attentive. The only unfortunate incident was that for the first night our 2-year-old daughter had been made a bigger child's bed, instead of the travel cot and we were not able to get it changed anymore that night, as the person in the reception didn't think it would be suitable for our child. However,...
Breakfast is good, coffee + teas in room were minimal. Just 2 teabags for 2 people. No coffee maker in the room, just kettle. For the price, more room supplies would have been nice. Perfect location! We took the metro from the airport to the hotel and didn't need to use public transport again after that. Everything was within walking distance. The room was lovely, clean, and well-decorated. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend it!
Great location, walking distance to main parts of city , good breakfast , nice seafood restaurant downstairs
The room was beautifully furnished and perfectly adequate in size. It was very clean, with daily housekeeping. The staff responded quickly to any written inquiries, and the location is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.
Room was comfortable and clean, staff was fruendly and helpful. We had a very positive experience, would definately return. For kosher travelers, the hotel is very close to 4 kosher restaurants!
Absolutely lovely hotel in the heart of Athens‘ historic centre. Two metro stations less than five minutes walk from the hotel, while countless cafés, restaurants, bars and shops are literally at your doorstep. Despite the busy area, the rooms have good sound protection, so we were not disturbed. The only downside is that the WiFi while stable, it hasn’t got a great performance.

Great location. Easy walk to all the major sites in Athens. Beautiful room and bath. Patio was nice for fresh air. Thick glass windows and door kept the city noise out. No views of the city - but why come to Athens just to sit in your room?
Small hotel with a good location in the city to go by foot. Breakfast is fine. Don't expect a hotel lobby or window views - it's in a narrow building complex not a Vegas Hotel. All in all nice people and normal hygiene in the rooms.
