There were fruits and baklava on the table, as well as a note from the hotel. In the bathroom there were shaving sets, dental sets and many more supplies. The Salonika restaurant had the best food we have ever tried

Super friendly and accommodating staff, and the breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide array of delicious freshly made food. If I come back to Thessaloniki, I'm definitely staying at the Makedonia Palace

Rooms are very nice, the only 2 points I have on the Bathrooms are related to Shower Tub Antislip to be added as the available is not sufficient and the water pressure for shower is not strong enough

The room was clean, but the internal heating did not work satisfactorily. The staff attended as soon as called for malfunction and they were very nice. The hotel had very good breakfast

The food offered was absolutely delicious! We also visited the rooftop pool at nighttime when it turned into a rooftop bar, it was a really great place to chill, relax, and enjoy the stunning nighttime city views! It really helped me to take everything in from the beautiful city!! We did not use all the amenities, however, I hope to visit here again to explore more of the hotel! Our family loves Capsis

Breakfast options were plentiful! The outdoor pool was a big plus, but the downside was the limited opening hours (11am-7pm)

The furnishings were appealing, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was very spacious, and the room also had a huge closet, which was very helpful for a family of four

While the staff stopped it quickly, it was disappointing for a luxury hotel. When paying these prices, I expect a peaceful sleep rather than a hostel atmosphere. Aside from that one night, it was a fantastic experience

My company booked this hotel through a package organized by our local foreign chamber of commerce for a steal. Nice hotel in a strategic location with good conference facilities

- diningroom openns at 07:00 and it was too late to eat if you need to go for for a trip (the lunch box that we got was very very poor). - the stuff and the room was great and the breakfast as well

For 600 euro per night I expect to get much more like; - bottle or two of water every day. - better quality shaving set (the knife was unuseble)

We instead used the indoor pool as part of the spa, but they had fairly strict rules and staff kept coming to tell us off about pretty minor things, even though we were the only people there

We stayed two nights at Metropolitan Hotel (August 21–22) and had a great experience. The reception staff (especially the man at the front desk) was very kind and helpful

Sea promenade just 5 minutes by foot (NO beach in whole Thessaloniki! Can be reached by bus - takes 1 hour. ) But think about the city tax - every night 10€!! That’s way too much

Right next to the hotel is a small supermarket and some coffees and kiosk. City Centre by bus in less than 20 minutes by foot in 30 minutes

We had a nice renovated room, not overlooking the street. near the metro station, but also it is walking distance to all of Thessaloniki sites. In the room there is a small fridge, and a small balcony

A charming boutique hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki entertainment district and just a block from the harbor and walking distance to most museums and cultural sites as well as dozens of restaurants

I hardly recommend the Excelsior, not only because of the great service, but because of its central location as well. It is close to everything, within walkable distance to all major destinations in Thessaloniki

We stayed for one night, we chose a junior suite that was spacious and with a view of the city. As the hotel is in the city we did not have noise

Despite being far from the centre, it is a lovely hotel with a view of the city from above (on days when the city is not covered in fog, of course). The room was very nice, with a very large and comfortable double bed
