Overall, a good and practical hotel choice in Thessaloniki, particularly for those travelling by car or EV, with strong parking and charging facilities and a convenient location

This is the perfect hotel for a family getaway in the city, beautiful lobby, and every employee is very friendly and helpful. Our room was one of the large suites with two double beds and a spacious bathroom

Service is good, just that their lift is a bit wonky. Expect to wait for quite a long while for the lift, until the service staff comes to override it. Otherwise it is okay.

The food offered was absolutely delicious! We also visited the rooftop pool at nighttime when it turned into a rooftop bar, it was a really great place to chill, relax, and enjoy the stunning nighttime city views! It really helped me to take everything in from the beautiful city!! We did not use all the amenities, however, I hope to visit here again to explore more of the hotel! Our family loves Capsis

My floor of rooms are outdated aged, wifi is bad. Breakfast/restaurant is good, staff is good. Hallway is so burning hot.

The furnishings were appealing, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was very spacious, and the room also had a huge closet, which was very helpful for a family of four

There was a wide variety of choice at the breakfast buffet and the breakfast was also excellent. If you are not on a budget and want to have the best hotel experience, this hotel is for you

Seaside hotel near city center. Good but not excellent.

There were fruits and baklava on the table, as well as a note from the hotel. In the bathroom there were shaving sets, dental sets and many more supplies. The Salonika restaurant had the best food we have ever tried

We booked the deluxe suite with the view of the sea. As we parked infront of the hotel we were immediately greeted by the staff, they parked our car and kept the car keys safe

Breakfast is excellent! It has absolutely everything and good quality foods. Nice, clean gym with an indoor swimming pool. Overall loved it and definitely recommend!

The hotel is nice however the wiew from the window/balcony is not the best one (depending on the side of your room you will see a traffic road or a building on -stopped- construction

There's no grounds, but it's a Grand Hotel. The breakfast is very, very good. Even the view of the sad neighbor's house

The room is of a good size, the breakfast is good, the hotel is located near the highway, but it is very quiet at night. There is a private parking lot in the basement, which costs 10€ per day. It is a very safe place.

The heart of Thessaloniki where all of the best restaurants and bars is a short cab ride away or about a 25 minute walk

The rooms were Modern and the bathroom was cool and modern. The bathroom had one shower and a bath tub. The service was kid friendly fast and kind. The location was good because it was next to a shopping mall and jumbo

My family and I arrived at the hotel 22/12/2025 late evening. We had also our small dog with us. Everything was perfect! The service at the reception, the room, all the hotel personnel

We paid €90 per night and this included free internet access (so I don't know what the previous reviewer is on about). Also included was an excellent buffet. The reception and concierge service was also very good

Porto Palace Hotel's amenities make up for its location. It is modern, updated, and clean. The staff is helpful and the breakfast buffet has a wonderful variety of choices

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2009. The hotel is a little out of town near the industrial part of the port. Taxi was only €3 into the centre so not a problem

I love staying at Porto Palace! The staff have excellent customer service skills, are courteous and always have a smile. They accommodated every request I made and provided guidance when needed

Welll clean rooms Good breakfast and staff Just 5 minutes by car to city center (they have parking area ) But the best think is they have free shuttle bus to the city center If will back we will stay again the same room Tip: do your reservation by phone is better (cheaper)

The lighting is good and not too bright - though no view at all so you’re not as inclined to stay in the rooms for too long

The hotel is well located, it's a walk distance to the seafront and to restaurants and bars. The personnel are nice and helpful

But if there are large groups you have to wait long time in line to be able to get what you want to eat. It's a problem if you a tight schedule

hotel like this doesn't have option to take your car and get it to parking!??? Also, have to notice that check in time at 15h is really unacceptable, because check out is at 11h !!! Smart TV is great, even have Serbian channels

A very modern hotel within walking distance of the city center and the metro station. It is a breath of fresh air with its unique atmosphere and aesthetic which i personally found very interesting

Wether you want to rent a car, wonder your way around the city or discover party locations and bars - she‘ll set you up and even gets in touch with restaurants or clubs you want to visit

The rooms are spaceous and there’s a lot aof extras, such as a Marshall sound system or a variety of amenities. It‘s my second time here and I‘ll definitley plan on coming back!

I hardly recommend the Excelsior, not only because of the great service, but because of its central location as well. It is close to everything, within walkable distance to all major destinations in Thessaloniki
