Le Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki

Location is fantastic, breakfast is good. That's the only positives. Now court they're reality - the rooms are not what we expected. Not at all like the photos and descriptions. Old and tired, the fan in the toilet does not work, the powerpoint is falling out of the wall. Beds are horrible. A topper onto of, I don't know what! And they call this sbed Pillows like sandbags. Bathroom - no words, patchy jobs, mouldy. ! Remote control to the TV was not working. You would think that the 2 rooms that were booked would be next to each other. We have 2 young children in their own room who were given a room at the other end of the floor. This is not good enough! No coffee/tea facilities in the room and the restaurant with the coffee maker was switched off despite being told this would be available. TV the size of a laptop! Another positive was the young lady at the front desk who tried her best to help us out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Do not go to this hotel, you are in danger, they let thieves pass through the entrance and wait for you to come out of your rooms to break in, beat you up and steal from you, there is no security and the reception lets the thieves in while they know who they are and does not stop them, those who stay in the hotel are already leaving, you are in danger

Booked this hotel via Hotels. Com six months ago. I booked the executive room as it was offering two double beds. I even emailed the hotel beforehand requesting two separate beds. On check in I ended up with a room that was not fit to call executive. It was one double bed that my sister slept in and I was forced to use a very uncomfortable couch, that gave me back ache. I did not sleep a wink owing to the noise of the fridge in the room and road traffic, so much so I had headache. The hotel refused to deal with it stating it was a fault by Hotels. Com as they had not passed on my request, even though it is clear on my booking that I booked an executive room that said min two beds. It is clear to me that as I was late checking in because of flight from UK they gave my room to another earlier check in and couldn't change it because they had sold out. Hotels.com did little to resolve the issue either allowing the hotel to take your money for which I paid at full price with no discount and once booked no refund policy either. The worst start to my holiday having waited all year for, and now spoilt for the sake of someone's lack of time in reading my request.
