The location is ideal, rooms are small but comfortable. Architecture is amazing. Elevators are cramped and can be problematic for high floors. The view is nice. Restaurant area is small but the food is delicious. Bar is definitely comfortable and awesome. Employees are warm.

Nice hotel located near the Arch of Galerius (also known today as “Kamara”), one of the most important Roman monuments of Thessaloniki. I was assigned a room with a beautiful view of Ano Poli. The rooms are not particularly spacious, and the washrooms are fairly small. The staff, especially Giorgios Doumanis (front desk) and Yannis Baxevanidis (restaurant), were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent; it included a wide array of delicious vegetarian options, such as veggies (sautéed mushrooms etc.), bougatsa, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese. The desserts, particularly the panna cotta, were amazing. My only complaint is that on July 13, 2025, around 08:00 PM, I returned to the hotel and the lobby was full of tourists who had just arrived. It took me some time to pass through the crowd. Τhe management and the staff at the front desk should have endeavored to handle the situation better to avoid inconveniencing the guests.

Very confortable beds, very clean room and well furnished and designed. Staff absolutely professional and helpful. Perfectly located in center. Good quality at the restaurant. Last not least : Playlist that you can here always good quality with old Standart and rarities of real and original songs, which is a pleasant and rare thing to hear in such places nowadays

What I could say? I skipped this hotel occasionally. It happened that I needed a WC. So I was refused. And I was surprised, bcs I have visited Malta (it is in general lux), Bulgaria etc, everywhere reception is touristic friendly even if I am not a guest of a hotel, but here, in abchotel… I was refused, yes. So, I would never recommend anybody this hotel to book. It’s not friendly for the tourist at all. The location is good, yes, but… I am very very upset :(

I was very happy with my room. The service was all very helpful and kind, the restaurant recommendations that they gave me truly improved my visit to Thessaloniki.
The breakfast was good overall, but the coffee was quite bad (but there are very nice coffee shops around).

The hotel is in a very central location. The beach and the promenade are 4-5 minutes by foot. Breakfast is ***et sufficient. There is no parking lot but there is a large and safe parking lot 50 meters away. Parking is 14 euros per night. The rooms are ***et sufficient. The price performance is very good… I will stay in the same place without hesitation on my next visit to Thessaloniki. Thank you

Amazing place with everything you need and would like to have! At least for me;) What a lovely welcome by midnight, super helpful staff, comfy bed, super clean and comforting environment, yummy breakfast with selection, beautiful common space with terrace and garden, best central location with sights directly around and still quiet, very aesthetic style,… could go on forever - thanks for creating this space ✨🙏🫶

The price was good, bathroom and bedroom was clean, the shower needed a bit more cleaning. The staff was very polite, the location is very good being within walking distance of most points of interest in the city

Do NOT stay here unless you enjoy drug dealing, paper-thin walls, and the police showing up during your vacation. That’s exactly what happened during my stay a full-on scene that ended with law enforcement being called. And honestly? I wasn’t even surprised.
The noise levels are unbearable. You can hear everything arguments, random footsteps, even people outside shouting at 3 AM. Zero soundproofing, zero peace. But the worst part? The area (and quite possibly the property itself) is crawling with drug activity. You can feel it in the air sketchy people coming and going, weird behavior, and an overwhelming sense of danger.
This place should not be listed for rent. It’s a disgrace and a complete violation of basic safety standards. Staying here was not just uncomfortable it was disturbing and unacceptable. Avoid it like the plague.
