Familiar place. Very lovely and calm place. In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee.

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent. I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place. You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place.

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

Enjoyed the stay at the hostel. The people (Volunteers) at the desk were very helpful. The rooftop is a good place to hangout and meet fellow travellers. Location is in close proximity to main shopping areas of Heraklion. Also has a 24 hour convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The room is located at the city center. It is very hard to park in this area, it is best to avoid it if you come by car. However, if coming by public transportation it is very convenient. It was clean and nice and the receptionist was very friendly. The only issues we found were the mattress being too soft and the lack of support to hang the shower while bathing.

It was conveniently located near the ferry terminal and the city center. The building was old, but the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. I was satisfied with my stay.

The staff is very friendly, keeps the place clean, and tends to guests' requests. However, it was not a pleasant experience for me because the WIFI did not work most of the time. So, for a business traveler who needs to remain connected or join online meetings, this is not the place. For pleasure travels, Kronos would be an excellent choice given the location and the service.

The website says they have parking. BUT this is limited and we were told we’d have to drive to this offsite parking lot and walk back (about 10 minutes). Not a good option for walking to get your car in the dark at 6 am in unknown area, driving back to the hotel to then load up your luggage.

This was a great location to visit Old Town Heraklion. Near the Venetian Fortress and the pedestrian avenues. Provides bottled and filtered water, endless. Provides free parking. Very clean. Elevator. Great deal.

I cannot fault the service at this hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night having had our flight home cancelled and they could not have been more accommodating. Our rooms and bathrooms were spotless and having only been there half a night they offered to have our luggage for the day so we could spend the day in town. Lovely family run hotel only 20 minute walk from the city centre. Good, clean, spacious air conditioned and with storage galore this little hotel is a great place to stay. With warning: it is under the heraklion flight path, but then everywhere in heraklion centre is. I lived under heathrow, so it actually helped me sleep haha

Good room for the price, only location is close to take off zone for airplanes, so a lot of noise of planes taking off , and the windows are not fully sound proof.

Great place to chill and relax! My apartment (studio) was very comfortable, great bed and very clean with air con, fridge, couple of electric hobs, toaster and kettle - all you need to for your stay. We stayed there for one night. We arrived late and left in the morning, so we weren't able to take advantage of all the hotel's amenities. The breakfast included in our stay was decent. Teams were excellent, services were excellent, but the mattress in the sofa bed was appalling. Otherwise, it's perfect for a couple or a family, it's near the beach, near lots of restaurants and bars.

When we checked in we were graciously upgraded to a suite in another building with access to another resort and pool. All the staff were very friendly in all areas which made our stay very enjoyable. The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. Very nice small hotel with newly renovated rooms in a very quite and secure area. Sweet and service minded personnel, working hard to make your holidays at the best! No pool, but just a short walk to a large and beautiful beach with beach bar. We loved this hotel.

We had a lovely apartment, very spacious, with all the mod cons. Comfortable bed, air con, mini kitchen, terrace, Next decade bathroom - so many options for how you want your water to come out for shower. Short walk to Heaven Beach and restaurant/bar. Other restaurants/shops on main road. So wanted to give this a 5 but just felt a little let down by owner/manager who was not particularly helpful....

The hotel is very beautiful, clean rooms,nice yard. The owner is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very nice. The mattresses were new and the room is cleaned every day. The price is also very good. We had room 410 and it was excellent. The air conditioning is working perfectly.

Another fantastic stay at Uncle George's. Kostas and Artemis were excellent hosts, the food was delicious and the restaurant staff were very friendly and polite. The room was cleaned 3 times in our 11 day stay, sheets and towels changed then as well. Would definitely recommend and will we definitely be coming back.

With minimum requirements and an eye for beautiful Cretan interior you will love this place. We had two rooms, both with balconies and kitchen equipment. The beach is 2 minutes walk. Shops, rentals, bus stops, pharmacy, tavernas and even cinema are around the place together with a magnificent mountain view. Some staff speaks German, and owner is a friendly woman. We had a really enjoyable holiday here at ideal accommodation for our needs as a family of three. The apartment was spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen area, bathroom with good hot water, two balconies and was excellent value for money. We enjoyed the food, service and value in the popular taverna downstairs in the evenings we ate there rather than take the short bus trip into the busy city of Heraklion...

Great service, fast and very friendly. Great decoration and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Everything you can expect from a Greek tavern.
