Vanisko Hotel By Checkin in Amoudara

At Hotel Vanisko, unfortunately, our experience has been quite negative. The treatment we received from the staff left much to be desired.

The lifeguard, instead of ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests, focused solely on scolding my children for swimming to the end of the pool, even though my son has been swimming confidently for years. Strangely, other much younger children received no such warnings, despite engaging in the same activity throughout the day.

In addition, the morning bar waitress told us the card machine wasn’t working, yet later that afternoon we saw her using it without issue. When I asked her not to heat the milk—but also not to serve a cold cappuccino—she looked at us with clear disapproval, as if our preferences were somehow wrong. I truly hope she never encounters such an attitude in Spain, because we do not treat visitors this way.

Lastly, in the buffet area, one of the staff members did not allow us to sit at our chosen table, even though there were empty ones available, and instead forced us to sit near the entrance, all while speaking to us in an unpleasant tone in her own language.

Frankly, and with all due respect, if you're Spanish and value polite, respectful treatment, I do not recommend this hotel.
This kind of treatment would not happen even in the worst hotel in Spain, and this one supposedly presents itself as a quality establishment. Your personal isn't polite.

We were placed here when our flight was cancelled. We were greeted by a very abrupt man on the reception who didn’t speak much English who gave us our room card. Room was very basic but did have air con. We had breakfast and dinner included which were awful not much choice for either and gave us a bad stomach. If your flight is cancelled I wouldn’t stay here and insist tui place you somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
