Great resort, staff were super helpful especially those at the restaurant. The Spa was amazing and the staff took time to speak with us before recommending treatment to book. Location right on the beach made it a fantastic place to stay.

Fabulous hotel and staff. We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful. Manos, the manager in the restaurant is an absolute gem, so welcoming and friendly. Beware the "all inclusive" mention because we would not have considered our stay all included by any means. With a limited drink menu at the bar, and no not just for premium alcohols, things like a margarita or a mojito were excluded from our package. The location of the hotel is very good, and the room you booked has a sea view as soon as you open the door, and the beach is just a few steps away. The only bad thing is that a lot of ants and bugs run into the room, and there is a very unpleasant smell behind the small refrigerator!

If your flight gets cancelled and you're reading this review, the hotel isn't all that bad. The staff were nice and so was the food. Be sure to take a trip to the supermarket opposite as they had some amazing cheap food. Check the fruit aisle! Mot much else around worth exploring.

We was last year 2024, all was ok special the food , the rooms was clean, but the furniture was outdated and the bathroom with the open shower wasn't very good. We only had breakfast, which is very ok. They have their own tavern, they do everything for very good food . It was very good for us.

Teams were excellent, services were excellent, but the mattress in the sofa bed was appalling. Otherwise, it's perfect for a couple or a family, it's near the beach, near lots of restaurants and bars.

When we checked in we were graciously upgraded to a suite in another building with access to another resort and pool. All the staff were very friendly in all areas which made our stay very enjoyable. The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. Huge resort with hotel rooms, bungalows and multiple canteens is in my opinion ideal for families with babies and small children. It's a well placed hotel. Not too far to the center and not too close also, its positioned in a rather active road full of shops and restaurants for all flavors. The personal is very cordial and friendly. The hotel pool is a big plus for the evening when you're too tired to go out.

The main restaurant is indoors adjacent to the hotel, whilst the popular section is outdoors across a narrow access road, directly on the beachfront. This is a very nice option in Amoudara Beach, it’s extremely good location wise, you can spend your days beach front straight from your room or explore the island and return at the end of the day. Christos is great, he was friendly and genuinely, making sure you’re having a nice stay when he sees you. Also, pet friendly!

Familiar place. Very lovely and calm place. In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee.

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent. I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place. You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place.

Another fantastic stay at Uncle George's. Kostas and Artemis were excellent hosts, the food was delicious and the restaurant staff were very friendly and polite. The room was cleaned 3 times in our 11 day stay, sheets and towels changed then as well. Would definitely recommend and will we definitely be coming back.

With minimum requirements and an eye for beautiful Cretan interior you will love this place. We had two rooms, both with balconies and kitchen equipment. The beach is 2 minutes walk. We had a really enjoyable holiday here at ideal accommodation for our needs as a family of three. The apartment was spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen area, bathroom with good hot water, two balconies and was excellent value for money. At the price I paid this was brilliant value. Would I stay again? No. Only because it's not in Hereaklion and only just on the edge of Amourdora ( very little to do in Amourdora). We had a day room before our late flight departure. The hotel definitely needs reservations. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. We really liked the pool, probably the best pool for doing laps in the area. There is plenty of parking. Also not far from the beach and few of restaurants in the vicinity. A real value for money.

A perfect location with a sandy beach right out the back door. There is a nice sized pool out back. The breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are clean and the staff are more than happy to look after your every need. The bathrooms are a little small, the shower can be a challenge, the toilet is tucked into the corner but even with that I love it here. I do recommend the place.
