Great resort, staff were super helpful especially those at the restaurant. The Spa was amazing and the staff took time to speak with us before recommending treatment to book. Location right on the beach made it a fantastic place to stay.

The Olive Green Hotel is a clean, friendly and helpful place to stay, in a great location in the middle of the best parts of Heraklion. The food at the restaurant is decently priced and tasted great, the staff were super helpful and can organise taxi's to the airport or port. The hotel is in a great location in the city center, convenient for shopping and visiting museums. The sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom contains both a toilet and shower. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. I suggest the hotel separate the shower and toilet areas with a full door.

You can't beat Olympic for the location, nor for the price. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was fine. Olympic has a pleasant terrace on the top floor, where you can sit and read and watch the planes take off from the nearby HER airport. My only complaint was that the smallness of the bathroom meant no towel racks, only a couple of hooks behind the door.

Below average The nice lobby is deceiving. The rooms are very old and mine was very dark (the only windows faced a skylight well). Decently clean but I found a hair in the jam at breakfast (I guess that it can happen but it is the first time that it happens to me, in the more than 30 years in which I have been travelling). It will not be my choice at my next visit at Crete University.

Very nice location close to Heraklion. There is hop on, hop off bus for sight seeing just in front of hotel. Hotel has pool, small pool with slides, it is close to beach. Food was very good through the day, there were also snacks on top of 3 main dishes. There was great animation program even for adults including stretching, aquafitness, sports such as volleyball, water polo. You have plenty of activities...

Huge resort with hotel rooms, bungalows and multiple canteens is in my opinion ideal for families with babies and small children. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, beds are not very comfy, but hey, you won't be inside for most of the time. The beach is clean and equiped with free beach chairs for guests, beach bar is just a few steps away. Pool is also clean and big enough for multiple groups or families...

We had 9 fantastic days in te Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort. I think the price was worth it. The animation team was excellent, the food was delicious (the snack buffet at beach taverna was the best, the children loved it). The staff was very helpful. The bungalow we got was simple, but we liked the cretan style. The cleaning service came every day and changed the towels, cleaned up the room. Every place...

Great, clean hotel with amazing breakfast. The room was spotless, with a balcony, a comfortable bed, fresh towels and a great bathroom. Breakfast was included, and the breakfast area had a beautiful view over the harbor. We only stayed for one night, but we could have easily stayed longer. Once settled in it was a great experience.

Everyone we talked to was nice. The breakfast was a good addition (they served these "Cretan sweet treats" that I loved). I liked that we had 3 separate beds in one room and the balcony had a nice view. The bathroom was a decent size but the shower could have been cleaned a little more and the toilet ran often. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay and I'm glad I went here for my stay in Heraklion

It's a good spot to stop if you're looking for shopping and quick access to the harbor. Parking is difficult. The staff was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. The rooms are a little run down and very noisy with the planes flying out of the airport, so bring your earplugs! Overall, it's not bad for a quick stop, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

The Marin Hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our stop in Heraklion A great location near the ferry port and airport. A short walk to markets, restaurants and attractions.

Ideal location, close to the harbour, the old city, the bus to Knossos and the bus terminal. Very helpful receptionists. The view during breakfast is fabulous. Lots of choice from the buffet. The rooms aren't too big but after all you don't come here to sit all day in a room. Very reasonable price.

The staff was very nice. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also great and with a nice view. The bathroom looks a bit older. Probably they renovated only the rooms. The air-conditioning was working a bit strange, maybe had some technical issue.
