Happy Days Beach Hotel in Georgioupolis

I booked a week at this hotel, especially because it was located in Crette. but it was far from what the Crette offered us two years ago. small beach, full of piles of stones, in the water we could barely enter because of the big stones. very little arranged. you have no where to buy a juice, because they have no shops or terraces on the beach. although the hotel claims to be 4 stars, apart from the fact that it was clean, it did not rise to 4 star standards.the staff quite aggressive and not at all welcoming. as if they were desperate not to empty the canteen of the same food. they did not offer diversity at all. they offered the same food every day. cheap ham, bad quality sausages, the worst bacon (you wouldn't give it to your puppy). They only offer drinks in the morning, the worst quality coffee. they claimed to offer fresh juices and in fact they were acid-free juices of the worst quality. with a horrible taste. we arrived at the hotel around 9 pm and me and my husband were greeted quite badly by the lady at the reception who spoke more German than English. in total, we have been approached 3 times in German (also by the manager and his wife who was very arogant) although we have repeatedly told them that we do not come from Germany nor speak the language. we were bombarded with rules about the canteen as soon as we entered there, although we were terribly tired of 15 hours of travel. and we were treated badly and with arogance. I recommend this hotel and this area only to the elderly who want to have peace of mind and who do not have too high expectations regarding the quality of food and drinks.

The staff from the hotel is very arogant and rude. If you are thirsty, you have to pay 2 euros for a small glass of water. The beach is full of stones and just a small amount of sand. For a 4 star hotel and for 1300 euros for one week, I am very disapointed. I don't recomend this hotel or this area for the young couples.
