The price value is pretty amazing. It's not a fancy, polished hostel but it has charm and character. I would definitely come back.
You can lock your valuables in an extra locker in the room. There is a rooftop with a lot of space but no spectacular view. The water pressure in the shower could be better. All in all pretty fine.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The hostel is close to the city centre, which is a big plus. Don't expectbanything fancy, though

Great Hostel, met some incredible people here! Lady working there was always very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend! Rooftop is also great for just chilling.

Good location but they allow unlimited drinking which lead to aggressive behavior. Also old and depressing. No renovations since it opened in the 1950s as International Hostel movement but a family lives downstairs.

Planned 3 days for crete stayed for 7 based solely off this hostel, ive made friends for life from all over the world and had experiences i thought existed only in movies. It sounds too good to be true but it is not! I highly recommend the roof rooms. It is incredibly affordable and close to everything. It is totally clean and the owners are super friendly and accommodating!

Very, very basic, no other hostel options in town. No AC. Literally thought I was going to bake and die overnight. Hugged a cold water bottle to keep somewhat cool. Midnight curfew, no night exploration, which was unfortunate because my ferry arrived really late. Constantly covered in sweat. Eating the cost of what I already paid and will be paying to stay somewhere more comfortable the next night. Good for late arrivals or early departures. Keep your expectations low.

I've stayed at many hostels, but never once was asked to exchange my passport to make sure I didn't 'steal the sheets' OR have to rent a towel.
Also the top bunk is unsafe. I had to take one, as I'm tall and there are no climbing bars to get up. There is a good 6 foot drop from the top bunk :(

Hostel is run by a family, and is close to everything in town. Its an older place, but clean and tidy with clean white sheet provided. If its hot, then a bed on the roof is more comfortable than inside.
The owners are friendly and helpful to give advice on bus stations, surrounding areas, food, laundry centre etc.
The port and bus stations are within walking distance, which is handy when coming in on the overnight ferry.

Old ugly building. No AC. Very very basic kitchen with old utensils. There is a curfew at 1 am so if you come back later to the hostel you have to spend the night outside. The building dosen't let you socialize with other people very much. Clean bathrooms bit just 2 showers.

This place is very weird. For a youth hostel is doesn't make sense that I would get locked out at 1am...
