Right in old town. Taxi stand right across the street to get to the airport.

You can't beat Olympic for the location, nor for the price. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was fine. Olympic has a pleasant terrace on the top floor, where you can sit and read and watch the planes take off from the nearby HER airport. My only complaint was that the smallness of the bathroom meant no towel racks, only a couple of hooks behind the door.

Really nice hotel, we only stayed one night but had wished we stayed longer. We booked day of and check in was very fast and efficient. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Elevator to carry luggage up and down. Breakfast was also very good with lots of options and fresh food.

Below average The nice lobby is deceiving. The rooms are very old and mine was very dark (the only windows faced a skylight well). Decently clean but I found a hair in the jam at breakfast (I guess that it can happen but it is the first time that it happens to me, in the more than 30 years in which I have been travelling). It will not be my choice at my next visit at Crete University.

The hotel entrance is not easy to find, but the island itself is not big, and it is very convenient to go anywhere in the city. You can find the entrance by asking. It is very cost-effective and the transportation is also very convenient.

Perfect for night next to the airport. 5 minute drive from Heraklion Aiport and super friendly staff with a 24hr desk. Have stayed here a few times and each was great. If your flight gets cancelled and you're reading this review, the hotel isn't all that bad. The staff were nice and so was the food. Be sure to take a trip to the supermarket opposite as they had some amazing cheap food. Check the fruit aisle! Mot much else around worth exploring.

Stayed elsewhere (we have stayed here and cannot fault it at all) so were just here daily for food in August 2024. Nine of us, food was beautiful every day, the stuffed vine leaves are honestly amazing! Me and my partner stayed for 1 night as we were waiting for a ferry. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, they let us leave our bags in the luggage room till late at night when we had to catch our ferry. The location is central and the friendliness of the information office is top notch. The facilities were clean and there was a separate veranda where you could wash and dry your laundry, as well as a table and two chairs. The downside is that the bathroom is so small that it's difficult to turn around, and there is the inconvenience of not being able to fit your left foot into the toilet seat.

Teams were excellent, services were excellent, but the mattress in the sofa bed was appalling. Otherwise, it's perfect for a couple or a family, it's near the beach, near lots of restaurants and bars.

When we checked in we were graciously upgraded to a suite in another building with access to another resort and pool. All the staff were very friendly in all areas which made our stay very enjoyable. The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. Great, clean hotel with amazing breakfast. The room was spotless, with a balcony, a comfortable bed, fresh towels and a great bathroom. Breakfast was included, and the breakfast area had a beautiful view over the harbor. We only stayed for one night, but we could have easily stayed longer. Once settled in it was a great experience.

Everyone we talked to was nice. The breakfast was a good addition (they served these "Cretan sweet treats" that I loved). I liked that we had 3 separate beds in one room and the balcony had a nice view. The bathroom was a decent size but the shower could have been cleaned a little more and the toilet ran often. It's a good spot to stop if you're looking for shopping and quick access to the harbor. Parking is difficult. The staff was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. The rooms are a little run down and very noisy with the planes flying out of the airport, so bring your earplugs! Overall, it's not bad for a quick stop, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

Lovely restored period building in a quiet side street but just a few minutes away from the busting touristic centre of Heraklion old town. The place is actually apartments which on one hand very simple in an ordinary building, but on the other hand very very good. Spacious accompanied with wine and raki on the house. It is centrally located, 2 minutes from the center. Highly recommended if you are not looking fir luxury.
