2 star hotels in Heraklio Town

Excellent location and service. Only downside is that the showering area in the toilet is too small such that i left the door open to bathe. Window lock is broken too. Besides these, i had a good stay.

A basic hotel. The area is very central, it’s a reasonable destination for few nights stay

Good rooms, perfect distance from poijts of interest, restaurants and transport. Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms are very basic and a bit out dated but overall a fantastic option for the price

Due to a mix up, we ended up being changed to this hotel at the last minute, which turned out to be a good choice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but functional. Due to jet lag, we missed the buffet but that was ok, we were in a good location and found a great spot nearby for a coffee and pastry combo.

I giving this review from my previous stays at this accommodation over the last 10 Years. Its always been a pleasant and convenient place to stay. Just one complaint though. I accidentally booked the wrong dates to stay but i managed to cancel a whole week before i was meant to stay. The location couldn't be better, the breakfast doesn't have much variety but it is very good and the staff is super nice.

There was little friendliness and service from the first man we met at reception. There was another one later that was a little more pleasant, but overall a hotel I will avoid the next time.

Good room for the price, only location is close to take off zone for airplanes, so a lot of noise of planes taking off , and the windows are not fully sound proof.

For the price and decent location I have to give 5 stars. We stayed for one night and were very happy. The hotel receptionist was super nice!

Nice little hotel at a good location, both close to the airport and the city center. The staff were very pleasant, with a special mention to Katerine, Who answered all our questions and even called places when we needed. The only problems was that the bathroom was a little small and the breakfast was nothing to write home about. Also you stop hearing the plane sounds after the first couple hours.

Positive points: - The workers are extremely friendly and nice. The lady from the reception welcomed us warmly after a long travel and we really appreciated it. -The position is strategic if you need a room close to the airport. We took five minutes with the taxi to arrive from the airport. -Breakfast is nice and the service is good. -It's close to a supermarket, bars and restaurants. Negative points...

Very nice and polite staff! Rooms are nice as well and you don't hear the traffic or planes (in my room at least). Would recommend!

Nice hotel and beautifully decorated. It's a recently renovated hotel which is affordable, conveniently located and with attractive bedrooms. Our stay was perfect and recepcionists were always caring and helpful. Comfortable beds and well-organised room to keep your things tidy.

Employees were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, breakfast fair. If anything, then interior would need slight refurbishment. Biggest flaw in the room was that the toilet watertank didn't fill up properly. Needed some "special" touches which i failed to master within my two-night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre, which was very convenient. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

The staff is very friendly, keeps the place clean, and tends to guests' requests. However, it was not a pleasant experience for me because the WIFI did not work most of the time. So, for a business traveler who needs to remain connected or join online meetings, this is not the place. For pleasure travels, Kronos would be an excellent choice given the location and the service.

Last night in Greece and chose something close to airport for early morning flight. Hotel is fine, a little dated but efforts are there

The website says they have parking. BUT this is limited and we were told we’d have to drive to this offsite parking lot and walk back (about 10 minutes). Not a good option for walking to get your car in the dark at 6 am in unknown area, driving back to the hotel to then load up your luggage.

This was a great location to visit Old Town Heraklion. Near the Venetian Fortress and the pedestrian avenues. Provides bottled and filtered water, endless. Provides free parking. Very clean. Elevator. Great deal.

The room is located at the city center. It is very hard to park in this area, it is best to avoid it if you come by car. However, if coming by public transportation it is very convenient. It was clean and nice and the receptionist was very friendly. The only issues we found were the mattress being too soft and the lack of support to hang the shower while bathing.

It was conveniently located near the ferry terminal and the city center. The building was old, but the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. I was satisfied with my stay.

Lovely family run hotel only 20 minute walk from the city centre. Good, clean, spacious air conditioned and with storage galore this little hotel is a great place to stay. With warning: it is under the heraklion flight path, but then everywhere in heraklion centre is. I lived under heathrow, so it actually helped me sleep haha

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and very close to the main city road. Rooms are spacious and there is air conditioning. Spacious bathroom. Can be difficult to get a deep night rest due to hearing the aircraft very close. The beds are regular in terms of comfort.

I have visited this hotel three times over the past four weeks. The owners are very friendly and made me feel secure being a female travelling alone. It's very clean and has all you need in a nice quiet environment. I would recommend this place to anyone. Jo from Liverpool

Familiar place. Very lovely and calm place. In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee.

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent. I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place. You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place.

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

Very nice place with friendly and kind staff. Location a bit far from the center but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. Parking right next to the hotel. Hotel has also its own pool. Rooms in very good condition, I would have preferred more furniture in the room and the shower was also not working the best. Value for money, the room was clean and spacious enough. Very basic amenities, small balcony, no elevator, has an outdoor pool, has a parking. Short driving distance from the city center.

I cannot fault the service at this hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night having had our flight home cancelled and they could not have been more accommodating. Our rooms and bathrooms were spotless and having only been there half a night they offered to have our luggage for the day so we could spend the day in town. Such lovely staff made what was already a difficult time so much better.

Very basic amenities but a very friendly friend desk who helped us with various issues we had and found space for us in the night when we were stranded at the airport! Fairly cheap, clean, close to the airport, no complaints at all!

The location was excellent and the rooms clean, however the breakfast was very disappointing. It mainly consisted of 2 different types of bread and an egg. Having said that, the view was great, the restaurant just next door is excellent, and the value for money for a short stay just before or after a ferry is pretty good (just skip the breakfast as it's €5 of bread...)

We wanted a place to stay over for catching the ferry to santorini the next day. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is pretty small and the beds are ok. It's a good deal for the price and proximity to the Port. We reached the Port walking in 10 minutes. Wifi is good, very helpful people.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. Unfortunately I did not have time for breakfast:(

Perfect choice for amazing holidays! Stayed at the hotel for 11 nights with my wife and we had a great experience! Nice, big and clean rooms, friendly owner, right next to the beach, with its restaurant at the entrance and only 12 minutes from the airport. The restaurant- by the way- is the best in the whole area! Delicious food, large portions, low prices, fantastic cocktails and very friendly staff...

Today we were in this restaurant on our last day in Crete and I really regret that we didn't discover this place before. We ordered the pizza and it was very good. But even better was the service. Enjoyed the stay at the hostel. The people (Volunteers) at the desk were very helpful. The rooftop is a good place to hangout and meet fellow travellers. Location is in close proximity to main shopping areas of Heraklion. Also has a 24 hour convenience store within a 5 minute walk. Overall, it was a very good experience.

First time staying in a hostel and my experience for the weekend was amazing! Everything's really clean, tidy, the staff is really polite and helpful and I had the pleasure of having really good roommates and neighbors! It's close to the city centre so I definitely recommend it!
