We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

Main restaurant is very large -plenty of seats ( inside and out if you crave alfresco) the chefs are stationed in the middle and are busy constantly refreshing the food

Great resort, staff were super helpful especially those at the restaurant. The Spa was amazing and the staff took time to speak with us before recommending treatment to book

The accommodation is lovely and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food is lovely and varied each day. As you walk around the hotel the grounds are immaculate with an array of trees, bushes, plants and flowers

Manos, the manager in the restaurant is an absolute gem, so welcoming and friendly. Can’t fault this resort in any way 😊

Second year coming to Agapi Beach Resort! Great staff, very comfortable and beautiful rooms, clean and really well-looked after grounds, sandy clean beach, delicious food! Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a peaceful vacation by the sea!

One of the authentic hotels in crete island. It was built in 1964 originally. Hotel staffs are friendly and professional. Only weak point is GYM 🏋️‍♀️ facilities. Relatively small and lack of machines

Aquila Atlantis Hotel is a solid place to stay in Heraklion - the location is excellent, close to the city center and easy to explore nearby sights and walkable to great food spots

I went to the spa and had a full body massage and facial I loved everything about these treatments, my facial was done by Antonis and it was great my skin felt so hydrated, and my body massage was done by Maria she’s fantastic!! I highly recommend going to the spa

Despite losing a couple of days to very poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. This is a small resort—just two restaurants and two bars—which initially made us a little unsure, as it’s the smallest we’ve ever stayed in

When the weather kept everyone indoors, the hotel handled it brilliantly. The lobby comfortably accommodated guests, and the staff were fantastic—constantly bringing drinks and clearing tables efficiently

However, this actually turned out to be one of its biggest strengths. The atmosphere is relaxed yet intimate, and every member of staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a real highlight

This hotel is on the island and it can be said to be a very good living environment. The swimming pool is very beautiful, the breakfast is also very good, and the small bar in front of the door is full of atmosphere

we could not find a hotel in the southern crete, and luckly it is only one hour drive back to heraklion. this is the best hotel we could find in the souther area of keraklion.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room you booked has a sea view as soon as you open the door, and the beach is just a few steps away

My wife and I traveled around Crete for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. It’s cozy, historic and luxurious. Their breakfast was also possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had anywhere.

We watched the sun set and each morning we were filled with excited anticipation of the new ships in the harbour. And this all with never hearing a sound from outside unless we opened the terraces doors and windows

The cleaning staff we're especially forthcoming and kind. Our views from our room facing the harbour was outer worldly. Panoramic views of the Harbour, the Port, the Ocean and the ancient walls kept us in awe

We dropped by your resort (Ethereal White Resort, Heraklion) and was greeted by Chrisanthi at reception and who we explained our situation. She immediately gave us information on availability and cost

Also, thanks to George (Geórgios) who gave us a tour of the resort and for placing a request for a takeaway breakfast because we had an early flight on departure

We travelled from Canada in early October of this year to see your beautiful island and to experience firsthand the culture and hospitality of Crete, Greece

The only observation with the room was there was limited space to lay our suitcases for easy access but in reality, not a big issue

When we arrived in Heraklion, the hotel we had previously booked was terrible and therefore we had to find somewhere else to stay

We were so impressed and thankful for her service and professionalism

However, the service level of the front desk is poor, and the professionalism is insufficient, especially the young lady on duty in the afternoon. We booked three rooms for 7 people

On the first day, each room was only given one door card, and each person was required to have a ticket. After repeated negotiations, she changed the subject and did not respond positively

We even took 2 more pieces on purpose, but it turned out to be a bit sour when we ate it, an overnight watermelon in summer; in addition, we stayed for two days, and 2 drinking water bottles were provided on the first day, but not on the second day

The hotel is in a good location, close to the commercial street, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the bus terminal and the port

Although the service staff helped to take the boxes downstairs, the hotel was on the second floor, and we had to move one floor by ourselves after leaving the hotel; the hotel had watermelon for breakfast on the first day, and we were very happy

Fortunately, there is a supermarket downstairs, but the logic of not providing water on the second day of check-in is too confusing. Is my room rate on the second day cheaper than the first day?

But it didn’t bother us too much overall, for the price we couldn’t complain! We also had a lovely balcony which caught the sun in the afternoon! It was very quiet in the hotel, due to it being out of the main season (May)

We stayed for 10 nights and had a great time. Fantastic service with all the staff being friendly and helpful. Pool was really clean and nice. Very close to supermarkets, restaurants and specialty the beach

The hotel had a busstop outside and it was really easy to access Heraklion city. I recommend this hotel to everyone thats wants to relax and eat good in a nice area

The shower was a little too small. The fact that the hotel has a pool saved our holiday because we couldn't swim in the sea due to the waves and stones in the water

We was last year 2024, all was ok special the food , the rooms was clean, but the furniture was outdated and the bathroom with the open shower wasn't very good. We only had breakfast, which is very ok

Also located very close to the airport, so transfer is quick and easy via bus, shuttle or taxi. There is a rent a car next to the hotel for those willing to cruise along the beaches of the island

The room I booked was great, the bathroom was clean, and it had a balcony, but it was a bit noisy at night because it's near the road. Also, it's a bit far from the beach, so the sea view isn't great

Good location for going to Heraklion Bus station. I Don't understand the structure of shower room with bed. Hard to understand what make here five stars. But reasonable price at off season

The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the Heraklion Museum and local buses to Knossos, with a taxi station right across the street and the central bus station within walking distance, making it ideal for exploring the area

Breakfast was a real highlight, offering fresh food, fruit, yoghurt, and eggs cooked to your preference. On two early excursion days, the team kindly prepared generous lunch bags to keep us fuelled while out and about

There was a kettle and complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was excellent, served per person, and I couldn't finish it all. The coffee was the best I've had at breakfast in years

Really nice hotel, we only stayed one night but had wished we stayed longer. We booked day of and check in was very fast and efficient. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Elevator to carry luggage up and down

Nice hotel, clean and a good breakfast. Website is not up to date, the balcony I was shown held a plastic and no room for much else. Also there is no rooftop patio which is noted on the site

The hotel offers GREAT breakfast (ten out of ten) with a variety of sweets made by the locals and the people working there were extremely kind and helpful. It is a value for money hotel which is certainly recommended

Small but kept spotless. We got a free breakfast buffer with our rate and the spread was outstanding. Great location in that you can walk to the Central Market area in 5 minutes.

This place offers an excellent value for the price! The location is 2 mins walk from the Venetian waterfront, fort, walkway and excellent restaurants as well as 10 mins from the airport for convenience

My stay started out very rocky but the night manager was amazing! Mary the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our room

Breakfast was amazing! The entire staff were very accommodating. The hotel is near the city center, ladies it's a shoppers paradise! We stayed in the Jr Suite which was very spacious

Excellent location and service. Only downside is that the showering area in the toilet is too small such that i left the door open to bathe. Window lock is broken too. Besides these, i had a good stay.

They helped print boarding passes, gave directions, and stored our luggage. Seeing that we were tired, they even checked us in early. The breakfast was also very rich. I had a very positive impression of Heraklion

Our family room had a large balcony and was on a high floor with a fantastic view. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy, and it was comfortable to sit and relax, with space for charging and reading

Loved my stay! It has the sea view and very central located. They have a front desk 24 hours so it’s easy even for late check in. Breakfast was simple but more than enough. Nothing to complain about !

I would highly recommend staying at Castello if you visit Crete. I came from India and stayed here for a week. Very helpful staff (especially Harry and Eva, who helped me with getting settled here) and friendly vibe

Clean rooms and balcony with magnificent view

My stay at Castello Hotel was absolutely amazing! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well-organized in every detail. The room was cozy, modern, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay

Of course, you have to take a bus from Korea to get there, but it is a satisfactory place because all buses stop at the middle of the route, and the accommodations and breakfast are all the same

I’m not sure why this hotel has so many negative reviews, and I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and comfortability. Positives: clean room, somewhat modernly furnished, very kind service

The maid service system was also kind of neat, it’s a digital button inside the door instead of a placard. Tea and instant coffee are provided in the room with an electric kettle

As soon as we had a first look of the hotel and came inside I was greeted with some amazing staff and made us feel very comfortable for our first time, then as we made it to our room we felt so heartwarming with how clean they tidied the room for us! Then as we woke up in the morning we went and had a absolute delicious breakfast with a variety of choices

The rooms are spacious with a nice balcony - rooms are cleaned everyday and towels are changed every 2 days. The air con worked perfectly too which is vital in the scorching Greek weather

The best part is when we saw the pool for the first time it was so massive! And there was toys you can play with when you go in the pool like floats and balls, the lifeguard kept watching over us just in case something wrong happened and I am very thankful for this, there is also a bar with some nice drinks and snacks

And can I explain how amazing the location is located! It has a supermarket and mini market next to it with a nice restaurant which have some nice gyros, All I can say is i totally recommend this place, Thank you for this lovely experience for our first time in Greece!

There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which made transportation to and from Heraklion simple and fast. Hotel is 10 minutes drive to the airport. Had a wonderful first time experience here

We didn't enjoy the breakfast 'cause we got up late but we enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the hospitality and the beach is 200m away. We were three guys staying here and we really liked it

The rooms were clean we stayed in a sea view room which did not have a see view but looked out onto a block of flats. The hotel was a short walk into the centre which was packed with restaurants and bars

The downside is that the bathroom is so small that it's difficult to turn around, and there is the inconvenience of not being able to fit your left foot into the toilet seat

A basic hotel, convenient to sleep in, but I do not recommend for a longer stay. A definite plus is the location, sea view and helpful, friendly staff

The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the ferry port and bus station which was why we booked the hotel we chose to walk with our luggage but would probably recommend taking a taxi as it is very hilly around the hotel

Me and my partner stayed for 1 night as we were waiting for a ferry. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, they let us leave our bags in the luggage room till late at night when we had to catch our ferry

Dimitris was so friendly and helpful. He helped me out when my flight was cancelled and made me feel at ease. The hotel was lovely, with gorgeous views of the marina and it was in a very convenient location.

If we ever visit Heraklion again we won’t hesitate to stay here again. Unfortunately I only got one of the staff members names, Eliasvet, but credit to all the staff they were brilliant and so kind to us

We keep coming to Georgia's Garden hotel and, each time, with the same great pleasure. We love swimming in the sea and smooth sand beach, which is just 200m from the hotel

When we checked in we were graciously upgraded to a suite in another building with access to another resort and pool. All the staff were very friendly in all areas which made our stay very enjoyable

Anything you need, just ask the friendly staff and they will help you gladly: booking excursions, a massage, ordering a taxi, renting a car, tourist information, you name it

In the evening we enjoy a nice dinner or just a drink or cocktail at the bar, sometimes also chatting with guests from all over the world. We even made good friends here

A perfect way to start the day 😀 If we do not go to the beach, we swim in the pool, enjoy a cocktail or walk around to souvenir shops or take the bus to the city centre

The greeting was amazing the place as a fantastic façade and very inviting, but sadly, the rooms are very dated, and there is housekeeping products all over the floors

We selected this hotel because of the proximity to the harbour. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the Seajets ferry to Santorini. Hotel is clean, rooms are well fitted

The rooms are extremely dated and the crew covers are disgusting and should be replaced immediately. It was what I required, which is absolutely location to the port for an early morning ferry

It did not help the strikes on time whilst this is not the Hotel’s fault. It did add sadly to the dissatisfaction

Sadly, this review does not allow me to highlight some of the actual benefits of this property

We stayed in the family suite that had a comfy “king sized bed” (two bigger beds pushed together but it wasn’t that uncomfortable) and the room was “separated” by a semi-wall decor to provide privacy from the single bed on the other side of the room

The location seemed a bit far to me because it was off-season...but it could be very good during the season.

We putted dirty towels on ground to be changed but they never picked it and just putted the dirty towels back on bed. Few times we went to them ask to take out trash or put more soap in room

We didn't ask much but the floor would be lovely to be cleaned more nicer. They mopped ir but they scatered the dirt all over the places. They changed towels and bed sheet 1 time in 7 days

So the cleaning would be 5/10. Overall, i would rate the stay good. The place was pretty nice renovated. The location was good too near beach (10min walk). Bus stop close and market too

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and had a very positive experience. The location is 2 minutes walk to a big beach. Many delicious restaurants are within easy walking distance

Rate 5/10 -Pool i dont know if they cleaned it well or not but most of time it was not really clean from the water look, leafs in it, so we didn't even went in it
