We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

Could not be more positive about Agapi Beach Resort. Firstly all the staff are so warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. They work exceptionally hard and are a credit to the hotel

One of the authentic hotels in crete island. It was built in 1964 originally. Hotel staffs are friendly and professional. Only weak point is GYM 🏋️‍♀️ facilities. Relatively small and lack of machines

Aquila Atlantis Hotel is a solid place to stay in Heraklion - the location is excellent, close to the city center and easy to explore nearby sights and walkable to great food spots

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room you booked has a sea view as soon as you open the door, and the beach is just a few steps away

However, the service level of the front desk is poor, and the professionalism is insufficient, especially the young lady on duty in the afternoon. We booked three rooms for 7 people

On the first day, each room was only given one door card, and each person was required to have a ticket. After repeated negotiations, she changed the subject and did not respond positively

We even took 2 more pieces on purpose, but it turned out to be a bit sour when we ate it, an overnight watermelon in summer; in addition, we stayed for two days, and 2 drinking water bottles were provided on the first day, but not on the second day

The hotel is in a good location, close to the commercial street, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the bus terminal and the port

Although the service staff helped to take the boxes downstairs, the hotel was on the second floor, and we had to move one floor by ourselves after leaving the hotel; the hotel had watermelon for breakfast on the first day, and we were very happy

Fortunately, there is a supermarket downstairs, but the logic of not providing water on the second day of check-in is too confusing. Is my room rate on the second day cheaper than the first day?

Excellent quality hotel with a large and beautiful swimming pool, very comfortable rooms and professional and attentive staff. A true 5* hotel, a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Heraklion

This hotel is on the island and it can be said to be a very good living environment. The swimming pool is very beautiful, the breakfast is also very good, and the small bar in front of the door is full of atmosphere

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

we could not find a hotel in the southern crete, and luckly it is only one hour drive back to heraklion. this is the best hotel we could find in the souther area of keraklion.

The food is exceptionally good and varied. The location is good; the beach is just a few steps from the hotel. Sun loungers and parasols are free all over the beach! We had a great time and would book again

The room is spacious and has all the amenities (shower and toilet), which are clean and functional. The mattress was a little too hard for us, but for a short stay, it wasn't too bothersome

Rena is the perfect hostess, who also speaks German. The rooms were furnished with everything you need and were cleaned daily. Unfortunately, we lacked a wardrobe or at least a few hooks for clothes

We thought it is a good idea, that a reservation needs to be done, so the experience is nicer, because there is no risk, that the area might be overcrowded

Great location near the core of the old city. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Parking while limited was super convenient and close

Swimming in the sea is the best though, even if it's very salty here. It's all very mellow and relaxing

You can hear the planes arriving at the nearby airport quite well, but they don't bother me, plane watching can be fun 😀 Food is great as well! The a la carte restaurant that can be visited all inclusive once per week stay is a highlight, but the buffet has great choices as well!

Food is always fresh but may lack variety, but there is always something local next to the continental buffet. Rooms are freshly renovated and adequate. The pure sand beach is literally just falling down the stairs away

Visited the Sentido Unique Blue resort with great pleasure. First and foremost the staff is extremely polite, helpful and above all good humoured

As soon as we had a first look of the hotel and came inside I was greeted with some amazing staff and made us feel very comfortable for our first time, then as we made it to our room we felt so heartwarming with how clean they tidied the room for us! Then as we woke up in the morning we went and had a absolute delicious breakfast with a variety of choices

The rooms are spacious with a nice balcony - rooms are cleaned everyday and towels are changed every 2 days. The air con worked perfectly too which is vital in the scorching Greek weather

The best part is when we saw the pool for the first time it was so massive! And there was toys you can play with when you go in the pool like floats and balls, the lifeguard kept watching over us just in case something wrong happened and I am very thankful for this, there is also a bar with some nice drinks and snacks

And can I explain how amazing the location is located! It has a supermarket and mini market next to it with a nice restaurant which have some nice gyros, All I can say is i totally recommend this place, Thank you for this lovely experience for our first time in Greece!

There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which made transportation to and from Heraklion simple and fast. Hotel is 10 minutes drive to the airport. Had a wonderful first time experience here

We didn't enjoy the breakfast 'cause we got up late but we enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the hospitality and the beach is 200m away. We were three guys staying here and we really liked it

I would highly recommend staying at Castello if you visit Crete. I came from India and stayed here for a week. Very helpful staff (especially Harry and Eva, who helped me with getting settled here) and friendly vibe

Clean rooms and balcony with magnificent view

My stay at Castello Hotel was absolutely amazing! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well-organized in every detail. The room was cozy, modern, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay

Of course, you have to take a bus from Korea to get there, but it is a satisfactory place because all buses stop at the middle of the route, and the accommodations and breakfast are all the same

I’m not sure why this hotel has so many negative reviews, and I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and comfortability. Positives: clean room, somewhat modernly furnished, very kind service

The maid service system was also kind of neat, it’s a digital button inside the door instead of a placard. Tea and instant coffee are provided in the room with an electric kettle

But it didn’t bother us too much overall, for the price we couldn’t complain! We also had a lovely balcony which caught the sun in the afternoon! It was very quiet in the hotel, due to it being out of the main season (May)

We stayed for 10 nights and had a great time. Fantastic service with all the staff being friendly and helpful. Pool was really clean and nice. Very close to supermarkets, restaurants and specialty the beach

The hotel had a busstop outside and it was really easy to access Heraklion city. I recommend this hotel to everyone thats wants to relax and eat good in a nice area

The shower was a little too small. The fact that the hotel has a pool saved our holiday because we couldn't swim in the sea due to the waves and stones in the water

We was last year 2024, all was ok special the food , the rooms was clean, but the furniture was outdated and the bathroom with the open shower wasn't very good. We only had breakfast, which is very ok

Also located very close to the airport, so transfer is quick and easy via bus, shuttle or taxi. There is a rent a car next to the hotel for those willing to cruise along the beaches of the island

Really nice hotel, we only stayed one night but had wished we stayed longer. We booked day of and check in was very fast and efficient. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Elevator to carry luggage up and down

What a lovely stay in Crete! This hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The Breakfast Buffet was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered during my 3-day stay was smiling and helpful

Stayed here one night on arriving in Crete. It's a simple, comfortable place very close to the airport. Staff was friendly and very helpful getting us a late dinner delivery.

The breakfast was basic: scrambled eggs, small local sausages, delicious ham, vegetables, and cheese. The cappuccino was a bit sweet, and the juices were packaged

To top it off, our luggage was lost and the receptionist called the airport for us and dealt with the delivery of our luggage, gave us all points of taxi services at affordable rates, called car rental companies and really helped us out a lot

In the morning, we were a couple minutes late for breakfast and they had already cleaned the kitchen. The staff and receptionist brought out everything for us to enjoy the breakfast

Loved the location. You hear the church bells which add to the charm. The rooms are soundproof when you shut the balcony doors. Also great location to walk around the city center.

Great stay Nice hotel in a fun great location. Water pressure and temp were amazing. Comfy bed, much better than the Airbnbs we have been staying at

There was little friendliness and service from the first man we met at reception. There was another one later that was a little more pleasant, but overall a hotel I will avoid the next time.

Excellent location and service. Only downside is that the showering area in the toilet is too small such that i left the door open to bathe. Window lock is broken too. Besides these, i had a good stay.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Parking was close by for in a grave for 12 Euro per night Staff was friendly a the room was small but clean.

Really nice few nights at the Atrion Hotel. The location is really close to the Port and also the Hop Hop Off Bus services

Felt they should have compensated me for room as I had asked for no scents. Not the first to complain of mustiness. Otherwise room was in good condition

We stayed at the Atron Hotel crete half board and I think its one of the best hotel we have stayed in, the hotel is immaculate not one thing out of place, our room was very large with a small kitchen with was great for putting our drinks in the fridge, there was a meal in the fridge for us on our first day, ( never had that before) we had a very large balcony with a table and two chairs

The hotel put on a Greek night, there was singing, dancing and traditional Greek food, also an International night with music and food Elena from the dining room was brilliant she was helping everyone making sure they were having a good time, she was so kind too

The location is great, I walk to the beach here every day! There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it is also very close to the commercial street in the city center! It feels like there are more people than before Covid19!

Good location and friendly, helpful staff. This is a good place to stay for an easy stroll into the centre. It's a short journey from the airport which is near the centre. It's not a busy airport so not noisy

This was a very unique property. Well maintained and very modern. Everthing was great but i didnt geg the ******* VIP perks. Ghis is either an upgraded room or the bottle of wine as per my perks

The accommodation is excellent, comfortable, and well equipped if you wish to self cater (we preferred to visit local restaurants). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful

Beautiful modern apartment with all amenities cleverly packed into this small but spacious apartment. A short walk to supermarkets, cafes and the old town.

Nice little hotel at a good location, both close to the airport and the city center. The staff were very pleasant, with a special mention to Katerine, Who answered all our questions and even called places when we needed

The Rooms are wide well reconstructed and the bathrooms are excellent to make confortable your stay. For a short visit or even for few days visiting the beauties and the sites of interest of Crete is ideal too

There is no better place as a hotel to be closer to the airport. Take any bus infront of the hotel and in two minutes you are there. The Hotel is a three stars but everything works to your convinience

The old center of the city is also accessable in only few minutes by any bus or taxi. Something that we all need to know is that Heraklion is a city that you can easily walk to anywhere

The Bar can serve you all you may need and even you may have any kind of meal from different catering places, restaurants, Grill places, Cafe or even some supermarkets in the area

The only problems was that the bathroom was a little small and the breakfast was nothing to write home about. Also you stop hearing the plane sounds after the first couple hours
