The hotel is in a great location in the city center, convenient for shopping and visiting museums. The sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom contains both a toilet and shower. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. I suggest the hotel separate the shower and toilet areas with a full door.

Very good hotel. Having kitchen with a fridge is a great advantage if you stay for more than three nights. It’s a bit far from touristic places which is not necessarily good or bad but great thing is that there’s a bus stop nearby with a free rode to the city center. The beach is 10-15 minutes to walk. Administrators are the nicest people who were there to navigate us in our first days on Crete.

There is 2 people who I want to mention who we liked very much: the short haired blond receptionist and the hotels barman (he tended the bar at night). The rooms were ok, they looked like in the pictures, they cleaned the rooms everyday. The food was ok, there wasn’t a big selection but we didn’t stay...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marirena! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff showed great hospitality throughout our visit. The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing—perfect for a restful vacation. Highly recommended! I want to add that the negative reviews are not true!

The location is excellent — very close to the beach, which was a big plus for us. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was a bit tucked away, so it felt a little dark and confined. It was clean overall, but we did notice a few bugs during our stay :)
