Entertainment was good, particularly the music quiz, acrobats and Greek night. Drinks service was good too and much better if you do the upgrade package which we did part way through our holiday

My 5 year old loved the kids club and activities. Pools were lovely temperature (though the water slides one was cold) All inclusive wasn’t the best I’ve had

Beautiful room (superior maisonette) with plenty of room for a family of 4. Great pools, particularly in the newer blocks for swimming (lane pool), food was good but not excellent

Breakfast and lunch were fine but by dinner we preferred to leave the hotel. If you go right along the beach there was an excellent place for dinner and cocktails

Probably the food was the weak point it wasn't bad or anything but quite limited in choices and most meat like pork and chicken quite dry

Just had the most relaxing week here. We stayed bed & breakfast , there was plenty of choice. I recommend the scrambled egg with feta and also the egg feet ( eggy bread) The staff were all friendly and helpful

Even during our arrival, when our suitcase with our wedding dress was lost at the airport, the owners Elena and Nikos did not hesitate to help and called the airport in Chania to find out where the suitcase was and how we would eventually be able to get it so that we could have the dress for our wedding

We stayed in a first floor, sea-view apartment for 2 weeks and had the best experience ever! Best location, beautiful modern apartment well-appointed and maintained, clean with regular and flexible service, if needed

The biggest asset though of this place is Elena and her husband Nikos who run a wonderful business with an outstanding service and an approach to customer which is unique! They kept in touch with us almost daily to make sure we were happy and provided any kind of help we needed, instantly

Staying in an Elena apartment is always a fabulous experience. Tastefully fitted out with everything you need and in a perfect location with sea and mountain views, with access to lovely Cretan villages and locations

The airline we travelled with lost one of our cases and Elena got involved straight away, used her contacts at the airport and did not stop until she got our case found it and had it returned to our apartment

The room has modern amenities and a balcony with a sea view. My wife and I enjoyed dinner from local restaurants on the balcony in the evenings and listened to the sound of the waves

The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty

Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do

The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front

The friendly village itself is very small, a 5-10 minute walk from one end to the other with lots of small shops, cafe’s & restaurants and the small but beautifully sandy beach is literally 30 seconds walk from the hotel

This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed

Our room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfy beds & pillows and as we were in an end room (316) we had the most fabulous view of the mountains, pool and sea! Fresh bottled water daily as well which was a bonus! I will say that the shower was wonderful, the only little niggle being I couldn’t reach the high bathroom window to open it to let the steam out

Lovely Host will look after you to meet all your needs. 5' (by car) to nearest village and beach. Bit further down east warm sea with plenty of beaches to explore. Rethymno within 20' relaxing drive

We had a wonderful stay at Pilot Amphora! This is a boutique-style, quiet hotel where you can also benefit from the facilities of the 'big sister' resort - Pilot Beach (including private beach - could be wavy, but we had some lucky days when we could swim with no waves at all)

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at Pilot Amphora. It is a real gem, run by the wonderful Panos and his team. The hotel is modern and clean and maintained to a high standard. We were on a half board package

The food was excellent with an amazing fresh spread at breakfast and high quality 5 course meals in the evening

Excellent coffee although they were unable to make cappuccino with lactose free milk for some reason I never understood. We had booked half board - I wish we hadn’t. Much nicer food in the many tavernas in Georgioupoli

I notified them about my late transfer on my final day and the manager offered us a late check out free of charge! This is definitely a repeat destination and will be back when I next get the chance! Highly recommend

We also had access to their sister hotel which is a big resort where we had access to their private beach, spa, entertainment and restaurants on site. The team here were lovely and did everything to cater to us

OK, 3 stars, so wasn't expexting what we have got compared to Africa 4 stars. Clean, Tidy and comfatable, the ritz it isn't, but warm staff and happy with what we paid for.

The rooms are clean but basic. I wouldn't upgrade to the all inclusive as the food is shocking.

Breakfast offered a good variety to start the day, while dinner in the rooftop restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu each evening

There are lots of facilities to enjoy, including a good-sized swimming pool, a gym, and extras like a pool table, bike hire, a hot tub, and a sauna—so there’s always something to do. The location is another big plus

The GBH has a stunning pool area surrounded by palms and the sound of waves in the background, a beautiful spa, and the best gelato on the island

It has a beautiful outside heated pool with super comfy sun loungers (which was perfect for us in April) , a beautiful spa, rooftop jacuzzi, gym area and rooftop bar. I 100 percent recommend this hotel

and enough to cook a few meals. Also, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, full size fridge and 2 ring hob. Bathroom was well designed and modern, clean plenty of fresh towels

Towels and sheets are changed every couple of days, the apartment is cleaned daily (except Sunday), and it is a short (3-4 minute) walk to the beach. There is no pool, but we never use one on holiday if there is a beach

Rena was so lovely! The location is very central but the apartments are well designed so you had privacy. Gardens are so beautiful! Next time we are in Georgioupolis we will certainly stay here! 100%recommended!

The large balcony provided an excellent space to enjoy breakfast and was perfect to relax in the sun when needed. Hussain keeps the beautiful gardens meticulously groomed and provides a stunning and peaceful environment

Fantastic hotel! We had a 1 bed apartment rather than a studio and it was really spacious. Very comfortable and had everything we needed, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen for plates, pans etc

My absolute highlight is the bar with a great terrace overlooking the open sea where the greatest and most beautiful woman "Efrosini" mixes the best drinks🤩❤️The owners two brothers are also just great!!! I fell in love with the place so much and am going back as soon as I can 🚀

The place is well situated near the biggest supermarket in Georgioupolis, amazing bakery, restaurants. The bus stop to Chania is 50 m. The swimming pool is clean and nice

Plenty of tavernas and shops close by again within 5/10 minutes. Property is underrated and for what we paid it was above our expectations and underrated

During the day most other guests went to the beach meaning that we had use of the pool to ourselves and loved it. Would book again in a heartbeat

We had a wonderful week at the Athena. Loved the quiet location just a short walk from the shops, tavernas, square and beach

We stayed in a split level apartment which was lovely and really big. The location is ideal and only a short walk to the beach and to the main square with tavernas and bars. The pool was also great and never very busy

Self catering but short walk to all the restaurants and bars, the owner Leonidas also has a bar at the apartments and does lovely cocktails

Our room and bathroom if I'm honest was very old and definitely needed attention, but it was comfortable and similar to others we have stayed in elsewhere for the same price bracket so this wasn't a surprise

My only real niggles were that the mattress didn't have a mattress protector on it and aside from this not being very hygienic, it meant that the sheet which was a bit on the small side anyway, slipped about when I moved in my sleep and I would wake with it no longer covering the mattress and feeling uncomfortable

There are tour operators where you can book trips further afield, and the local bus is easy to catch to Chania and Rethymno. A land train takes you into the countryside to various places

The kitchen area had everything we needed for some basic salad and sandwich making but you could use the little hob if you were feeling more adventurous with a bit of cooking

The rooms were perfect for our needs (family room to singles) inclusive of balconies all around, the pool area wonderful for lazy afternoons, and an incredible views! And further bonus, the food was great - a comprehensive breakfast selection, lunch by the pool, and the restaurant Gems - which we ate at 3 of the 4 nights - included excellent options, from yummy salads, pizzas and pastas, to amazing...

My partner and I stayed a couple of nights during off-season. The hosts were incredibly kind, made us feel like we were the only ones there. Breakfast buffet was closed but they were kind enough to provide us in our room

We were given great recommendations when asking about restaurants and the best way to get to town. The room was clean, views stunning and it was quiet. Honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the Chania area

The hotel has a unique boutique feel about it as nothing is any problem for the owners or staff. The hotel pool is one of the best in Chania and the terrace view is the best in Chania

Our third year staying at this family run hotel with three generations involved. The two sisters - Eleni and Christina supported by their parents and Eleni’s sons - Niklas and John - are so welcoming and friendly

Stayed with my parents who are old having different rooms and we all enjoyed a lot, both with swimming pool views and my parents had sea view also. Parking space available always

The Pool 👙 is very clean and big. There are lots of cats around 😺🐈 so just a precaution to those allergic with cats. My little girl have mild allergy with cats and dogs but she had no problem at all here

The taverna had beautiful views over looking the sea whilst having a scrumptious meal. I really enjoyed my stay as it was clean

I would have liked a warmer blanket at night but all in all I would definitely return for a relaxing visit

I appreciated that they offered free beach umbrellas and beach towels, and there was a pool bar to get a snack

Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful

We’ve been travelling a lot in the world but I must say the staff at this hotel as amazing. Iro and Mari are so nice and helpful. The breakfast was really nice, the restaurant too. We had sea view rooms which is a must

Location is next to Kalathas Beach just a 200m walk away and it’s a sandy beach. A large pool at the hotel is also another option to swim. The food at the hotel is very good and well priced

The hotel is extremely well situated on a hill overlooking the beach, offering free parking and proximity to many places for daily visits. Staff was very professional, helpful at any time, pleasant and friendly

Rumour has it that they want to move the kids' area to the edge of the resort, which we think is a good idea. we recommend taking a taxi instead of renting a car for daytrips within 1hr distance

It's a bit of a shame that the all-you-can-eat nature of the restaurant means that the cuisine is somewhat underappreciated. Because a lot of it is really well made and above average! Everything is clean

The only complaint for me was there was no coffee, just tea in the room and no ceramic cups they were plastic and I could taste the plastic every time I used them, also no classes for water or wine which is unusual

My room was very clean and there was a nice welcome gift waiting for me (loukoumi with some local raki). Breakfast was ok smorgasbord style with a rather standard selection of cereals, cold cuts and cheese

The road is very noisy from morning till late at night but didn't bother us too much. On the whole a very nice hotel

I also did not like the fact they brought you the check even before you finished eating and then wanted to order additional drinks. There was also a charge for using the jacuzzi which I did not understand

A wonderful place near the old town of Chania but still in a quiet street. It was very clean and comfortable, the owner was very helpful with pieces of advice since it was our firt time in Crete. Totally recommend!

Very nice hotel, good location and an excellent coffee wirh the breakfast! The only downside is that the room doors did not have soft closers and a lot of the guests sadly slammed them so it was had to sleep past 7

Located centrally, this hotel is stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you are used to North American style car garages, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Breakfast was incredible as well.

We've been there for 2 nights around mid September. Beautiful hotel and confortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Located less than 10 min walking from the old harbourd

Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection of both savoury and sweet dishes. Staff were lovely and very helpful

Enjoyed our 4 day stay very much. Excellent location few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and accessible walk into Chania centre/ port. Plenty of shops and cute lanes, and places to eat / drink

Staff helpful and friendly especially interacted with Maria, Ivangelos and Nondas. Breakfast fresh and adequate selection for us. Helpful friendly lady on duty. Small balcony with seating and drier rack for clothes

The whole team, from receptionist and cleaners to management, they are very friendly and helpful. They offer toiletry produced locally. It was so go that we found the brand shop and bought some to take home

Bus garage next door takes you to various places and airport cheaply. Eg we went on lovely day trip to Rethymonos Room is medium sized , clean and comfy. Bed little soft for our liking
