Ciel Collection Suites in Chania Town

Exactly as advertised. Property was extremely clean & was a great value. Joanna and the rest of the staff were very responsive & accommodating. Easy walk to old town & only steps from the waterfront. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We were in Chania last year and walked past this property. It looked so interesting, we tracked it down to book it for 2025 and were not disappointed. Waking up to the sea view was wonderful: sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee watching the world go by was even better! There is a supply of plates, bowls and cutlery available ( cupboard on the landing) if you want to do some basic self- catering - and we went hunter-gathering at the amazing local market for olives, cheese and tomatoes to do just that. We really enjoyed being close to the Old Town to explore when we wanted, and far enough from the hectic tourist throngs when we wanted something quieter. The beach is safe and shallow, with great snorkelling in the bay (beach towels supplied if requested) unless whipped up by winds, when it's lovely watching the surf crash in from the safe distance of one of the local bars. A warm welcome on arrival and helpful suggestions for places to go/ things to do in an extensive brochure in the room. Design features are really attractive (although we never worked out how to keep water in the bathroom washbasin in the absence of a plug). This area has suffered historically but is definitely in the process of changing and modernising - worth visiting and enjoying its authenticity before it becomes too commercialised and popular. We loved it.

Our second stay in the room with terrace. Room is very clean and modern. A perfect location for a more authentic feel, with a short distance to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Also a 30 minute coastal walk to New Chora beach. Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Beach towels are available on request and parking available by the property.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay . The manager was amazing and gave us a lot of local places to try. We enjoyed staying here.

Fantastic 6 room hotel, an easy 5 star property with very affordable rate. Super clean.

We spent two nights here enroute to our hotel in Platanias in order to spend some time in Chania. The room was spotlessly clean with everything you would need and we were lucky to get the room with the terrace overlooking the beach and coast line. Parking is available next to the apartment and free. We were warmly greeted by Joanna who, with her team, provides all the care and attention needed but also great recommendations for places to visit on Crete. Joanna is a credit to these apartments with her warmth and welcome. The beach which is very close by, is great for a swim and they provide beach towels to use. Put your towel on one of the hooks in the sea wall or in one of the gaps. The bar next to the apartments was perfect for breakfast and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a really good two days and it was the perfect start to our fortnight on Crete. Thank you to Joanna for your love and support - it meant a lot.
