Belmondo Hotel in Chania Town

This is a wonderful small hotel in the heart of Chania old town. If you choose a room with a sea view you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the Venetian Harbour. We were lucky enough to have a roof top patio with shade as part of our suite. There is no dining room which means a delightful breakfast is brought to your room at a time of your choosing with different things served each day. Outstanding. Lovely stuff. Efficient Management. Would definitely come again.

Convenient location, very friendly staff, the hotel can only be reached by car until 9am.

This is a lovely hotel in the old town of Chania very near the square next to the harbour. Access is via beautiful stone steps next to a marble carving of a lion (annoyingly I can't upload photos) alongside an Italian restaurant, entrance on first floor. Very very pretty setting.
The staff were kind and attentive and emailed me before arrival, which I found reassuring. I realised after I had left that I had not taken my coat out of the cupboard but they kept it safe for me until I could collect 4 days later. I was very grateful for their kindness and the ease of communication (I used email).

Fantastic hotel. Room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is highly recommended for €10.

Perfect location on the port, close to all local restaurants and bars. Will happily stay there again.

As a solo female traveler I felt safe, comfortable and cared for by the staff. Even though my vacation didn’t go as planned, this hotel and its team stayed a safe heaven for me. The breakfast was amazing, the cleaning was always good quality, admin and the owner made my stay easy, cosy and warm. From the beginning to the very end, the hotel provided me with comfort and I am very thankful. 100% recommend ☀️

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Chania’s old town. Just a heads-up: the entrance is on the first floor, above a restaurant, but it does have a sign at street level, so it’s easy to find. Though housed in a historic building, it has been thoughtfully modernized with features like powerful air conditioning and a comfortable, well-equipped bathroom. The classic room doesn’t have a city or harbor view, but it’s quiet and restful, with a small bathroom window that offers a pleasant little view as a bonus.

Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, and delicious. It’s served between 8 and 10 am, and guests simply call reception to have it delivered to their room. There weren’t menu options to choose from, but the offerings changed daily. It typically included eggs, fruits, yogurt, bread, pastry, and a pot of coffee. The in-room Nespresso machine was also a nice touch, perfect for a quiet coffee break.

Most of all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Chania.

Lovely little B&B in the old town of Chania with waterfront balcony rooms and a very friendly staff! Really quiet and nicely redone rooms offer a great way to view the city center, or just stay all day on the balcony and watch people go by…Room 105 was ideal, and the hotel offered an excellent breakfast which they brought out to the private balcony.

After 2 visits - Really nice place, at a great location with the most friendly and helpful staff.
The sea front rooms are just perfect.

The hotel is beautiful and suits its location on Chania's old city. The stuff are kind and polite, specifically Dora. I would definitely go back the next time I'll visit Chania.
