The lovely lady at breakfast made the best omlettes ever !!. Also a visit to Magnolia restaurant is a must. And the beach bar who serve some amazing cocktails with a smile

The sea is breathtaking and spectacular with a nice sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas at no extra cost, which is great! The beach is just at the end of the pathway from the hotel - excellent! The facilities are great - large swimming pool outside (although a little too cold/freezing, but okay

Gym was brilliant, and it also has a spa area too. It was very good, but maybe the steam, sauna and jacuzzi could do with a bit of a revamp, but it was still okay

The inside pool was good too especially if a rainy or cloudy day

(Not too much of a problem for me, but just an observation that it's great to have an indoor pool located in the Spa Center, but there were loads of kids in it, and maybe I would have expected it to be more of a peaceful and a relaxing atmosphere as Spa's are supposed to be, but having said that, it's great for kids and their parents to go and chill too

Amazing views and lovely staff. We loved everything about it and can highly recommend it. The staff were brilliant and even located a local Physio when my Husband hurt his shoulder. Nothing was too much trouble for them

Food is great and having the pool side bar for food and drink is an added bonus. The minibus to and from the beach is another great addition. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return again soon

We’d recommend the tavernas Balatsos and Nikos for traditional Greek food at a reasonable price. Beach was disappointing as a wide rocky section to get past before you get into the sea

Taverna Nikos - amazing food and superb service and the Casablanca bar fun and great for lunch and snacks. A visit or two to Afytos an absolute must

! The beach and beach bar and view incredible! A lovely walk to the beach through pine forest although Yannis will take you and pick you up! Sadly we didn't have the weather in October but it came highly recommended and didn't disappoint

The breakfast had something for everyone but some extra fresh fruit choices would have been good. The walk to shops and bars was uphill but not difficult and the village had everything you needed

The food? Best thing 😁 amazing food and stuff, very frendly and cooporative, they will help you whatever you ask. Only bad thing is that, there is no lift so you need to cary bages on stairs

Nice hotel, very clean, its older building but its still looking nice. The pool was really good, water is warm and clear

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We had a very pleasant stay with my wife and my kid. The guy who works at the bar is the best, his name is Kastriot / Sina. He absolutely deserves a pay rise

Really close to the sea (10 min walking) and the best beach around (we have been on 4) and the cafe on the beach really the best one we visited! Close to the main street 7 min walking

Good facilities, simple but comfortable room, beautiful pool area, wonderful sunloungers but the experience was ruined by too loud music during the day, it was disturbing

Cheap place, but value for money. A bit dated, but still price reflects that. Had a room high up, so lots of steps to climb, but had a good view.

This place is a 3star hotel, and it has everything you could ask for in a 3-star hotel. The pool was great, and the breakfast was diverse enough. (Even if no fruits) The staff were nice 👍

The place is great for the money you pay. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and modernly furnished. The bed is comfortable to sleep in and the windows and door have mosquito nets

This is a hilly area and the hotel is on a higher hill surrounded by fir trees, oleander, and other flowers, while the birds will wake you up with their sweet voices in the morning

There are several golf style buggies that can take you between your room and the beach if you don't want to walk. All the staff in every area are friendly, courteous and very helpful

Sun Residence - wonderful place! The hosts are exceptional and truly dedicated to their guests. The garden is the most beautiful and well-maintained in the area – a real gem

We had an amazing stay at Sun Residence, Polichrono! Angelika and Denis were superb hosts and made us feel very welcome! They upgraded us to a larger apartment with a huge backyard on the ground floor so our 1 year old daughter could play outside and have plenty of space to run around

The pool was great, but it wasn't open for very long, a maximum of an hour and a half, maybe. The location was pretty good, and the town was amazing. And there was a Masutis nearby

The beds were uncomfortable, and there was a soap holder in the shower, which was broken and was very rusted and kind of disgusting. Also, there wasn't a lock on the bathroom

The balconies were smaller, but nice. The food is a regular hotel-breakfast food, many varieties, except fresh fruit and drinks. They have 5-6 cats at the place and they were so cute, but very boring during breakfast

- Wi-Fi coverage is also very good (streaming grade good) and consistent throughout the entire premises, although there is a separate connection on the beach area vs the hotel grounds

Only coffee at breakfast was bad. They have good capuccino but quite expensive (5,5 Eur)..everthing else perfect.

It was an amazing experience to be at that hotel. Our suite room with pool and sea views was truly outstanding, breakfast was excellent and the whole place was very clean

just had another fantastic week at evripidis hotel. 3 star hotel with 5 star plus service. at evripidis you are not just a guest you are family and treated as family. the rooms are spotless nice balcony food lovely

Then there is the main man, Evripidis, who runs the bar and never seems to be off duty! He was on the go the whole time, serving drinks, mixing cocktails, taking food orders, wiping tables, always with a smile

I personally feel this is not really a hotel suited to families with children as there is nothing there for them and very small children's pool. The food served at the hotel was very good, especially the salads

We have just returned from our first week with this family run hotel. The hotel was super relaxing even in summer holidays as it’s so small. Lots of space to relax and the staff were impeccable

One of the most relaxing holidays we have had. A small, quiet & friendly place to stay. Kalithea town is about a 5-10 minute walk & the pretty town/village of Afitos is a 25-30 minute walk or 5 minute car ride away

This was our 3rd stay here and again we were not disappointed. Amazing spot, views are beautiful and the hotel itself is spotless. This is a place to relax and unwind and meet new people

The poolside bar and meals, well, the staff were waiting on us with our drinks and the snacks were really good. Did have an issue with the kettle but that wad sorted out. Steps from the hotel take you down to the beach

The hotel was literally very satisfiying. Location was perfect with sea view and easy parking area just in front. Pool seemed very clean and attractive but we prefer the sea. All the workers are very kind and helpful

We woke up early every morning just to watch it. The colors were magical, and if you have a sea view room, you can even enjoy it from your balcony. Breakfast was decent, with a fair variety to choose from

That being said, future guests should know that the beach is quite rocky — some people even spotted sea urchins — so water shoes are definitely recommended. One of the highlights for us was the sunrise

However, we found the beach bar cocktails to be a bit overpriced, especially considering the slow service. Even when it wasn't busy, we waited quite a while to get our drinks

I'd recommend heading up into town instead, where you’ll find quicker service and more options. Our room had a lovely sea view and was overall comfortable

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at this hotel. But what a beautiful hotel which is run by Anastasia and her sister Stella. The pictures on the web site didn’t do it justice

Bar cocktails are great and two loveley sisters run it ! Am i crete at the moment so review will come soon

The breakfast is included and I would defy anyone not happy with the choice, there is a warm selection, a healthy fruit selection a sweet selection with a very good choice of breads eg sliced, uncut white, brown, Dutch crispy etc
