Hotels on first line in Kos

We were just on bed and breakfast and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There were plenty of sunbeds available, the ones on the beach having mattresses. The gardens were beautiful and so well kept

Everything was very clean and tidy including the beach

Decent hotel, beachfront on the 3. Entry to the water with pontoon

We were transferred to this Hotel as our original accommodation was unable to host us. We were actually really pleased. It's a nice hotel with loads of facilities. The staff on reception were very welcoming

Everything is great about this hotel, enough space, and you have many choices for going dinner even if you aren't all-inclusive. There are 4 pools and one beautiful beach, one playground which is kidfriendly

The beach, the pool, and the resort are lovely. Nice walks, nice sunsets, nice nature. The dinner is pretty good, with plenty of variety. The rooms are very clean, and the room cleaners are doing a great job

Room was a good size, comfy bed and all SC facilities if required, fridge, microwave etc. Only slight negative was bathroom which was fine, but bit dated, however considering cost of holiday this was not a problem

Personally we enjoyed the breakfast and variety. Pool area was immaculate and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully return in the future

The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are amazing Big shout out to Peter and Angelo behind the bar Made our evening’s Also Yiannis by the pool Interacted with the children Even tho we didn’t have any with us we enjoyed watching him make a fuss of them Wouldn’t return again as we did not like Kos Town Even though we have visited many Greeks islands

Or the bar and then another to reception shame really as it would be a really lovely hotel if on one complex Pool umbrellas and beds need changing desperately

Kos wasn’t up at the top of our list Hotel is somewhat disjointed as there are 5 different buildings and you have to cross roads to go to the pool

Breakfast was very good and something for everyone, if you want traditional English breakfast, with English std food like Richmond sausages, hash browns etc go somewhere else or go Self Catering

There were some activities each day and the entertainment staff would come around the pool to let you know that they're happening, which was cool

The place and the staff are excellent. Really enjoyed our family time. It's a shame that the place is being renewed and transformed into an adults-only hotel.

One criticism, the last day , the beach bar and pool bar was closed

To say we were disappointed is an under statement! 5 star it is not! There were a lot of weeds by the pool, toilets out of order and leaking everywhere

Very good food, plenty to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious, with local produce, fruits, vegetables, and cheeses. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel

We were there two weeks , but some people only went for a few days , so that was a little unfair, I understand the hotel was closing the next day but even so?… The location is beautiful

The sea was lovely and warm, but the pool was bracing!!! We had a room with a jacuzzi, which was perfect for enjoying after a day out, looking over to Kastri Island and Nisyros

The Location is at the top of a hill, so be prepared! We personally enjoyed the walk to the beach through the little farm, but I can imagine at the height of summer, may be very hot/tiring! We hired a car, which allowed us to drive around to a number of other walks and beaches, and whilst the weather was not perfect for sunbathing, it was great for walking

The thing that made this hotel was the service of the staff, who were all outstanding- for the Waitresses at the restaurant, to Dimitris in the bar, and the reception staff/porters, we were made to feel welcome

We arrived late due to our flight being delayed, but from that moment onwards it was the staff that shone throughout our holiday. Check in was quick, courteous & our bags quickly dispatched to our room

We were there to celebrate a special birthday, and the atmosphere allowed us to thoroughly relax and enjoy the luxury of a la carte dining. Thank you to all the staff for this experience

It was a pleasant surprise to see a meal of cold meats, cheese & salad awaiting us. The following morning at breakfast we meet the fabulous group of girls serving in the restaurant

Showers beside the pool very old too, water running badly as the limescale is all around the shower head. When we decided to go to Kos town, there is a mini bus driving up and down the hill every couple minits

By puting smaller fridge in that spot, we seen how old the room is. Balcony has no were to dry your towels. The only option is a balcony railing. Main pool is nice and looked after

But we used the one at the back with slides beside. All around the area with pools are glass fences, main pool lovely and clean, the back pool not cleaned for very long

Beach is very rocky and not looked after too. And there is a man charging for using that part of beach. Bus to Kos town arrived only 1x from our 4 trips

Mini bus goes all the way down the hill just beside the bus stop to kos and bech cross the road. This area is so dirty , plastic bottles, papers etc all around, not cleaned, looked after at all

Handyman switched off the fridge, used a lot of towels around and left. After 2 days ( that much ice was in it) found out the fridge is not working so we got tiny mini bar fridge instead

The food was delicious and there's SO much choice. The beach is just a short walk too and a great way to spend the day and watch the sunrise. All round perfect week away and a little bit disappointed to be home so soon

Perfect for families with children. The staff is outstanding and very responsive to answer any questions you might have. They are quick in responding to your emails. It's a little bit of a walk to the beach

As we stayed towards the end of the season, the staff had really started to reduce, leaving two young people covering reception, they did not have a day off in the 10 days we were there, even though they were working long hours they they stayed really friendly and always helpful

Third visit back to the Gaia Palace. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. We stayed in a superior double room which was excellent

The beautiful sandy beach with bar and toilets is a short walk with free sun beds for Gaia Palace guests

Lovely clean hotel. We went all-inclusive so had a good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of sunbeds and pools so it never looked busy. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday I would recommend staying here.

There is no entertainment at night and the seating area inside does smell like cigarette smoke a lot of the time due to people smoking on the outdoor terrace. Would I be put off travelling here? No

I personally loved most aspects of this hotel. Peaceful and not overcrowded. Lack of entertainment didn’t bother me one bit as I came for a break away from all of that

When our hotel unexpectedly closed for the season before the end of our stay, we were moved to the Apollon

I guess this may not suit you if you’re looking for a party holiday. Staff respectful , polite and friendly whilst not overbearing - prefect for me Hotel is modern and spotlessly clean

Bus right outside the cosmopolitan hotel and takes 10 min max and 1. 50 euro each way to Kos Harbour. Ask for bus timetable at reception. Otherwise a pleasant 20 minute walk for us

We were made very welcome, the room was spotless, the staff friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious and there was a great variety

Lovely hotel and very nice and welcoming staff. We arrived late off the Edinburgh flight and was met by the bar man who was friendly and polite, he showed us to our room and invited us to the bar which was open till 2am

Our room was clean and spacious but slightly dated (family room). Shower room is a bit of a nightmare as the floor floods from the shower and is very cold on a morning

Pool bar also serves snacks and ice cream and the pool was nice and we could always get a sun lounger

Breakfast was basic but more than enough for a light bite on a morning. Selection of bread, cereal, cheese, ham, olives, tomatoes, feta, yogurts and melon. Also a coffee machine and teas

We paid for the air-conditioning at around £47 for the week and tax was £35 ish i believe. Shout out to the cleaner who was lovely and always done a fantastic job

Comfortable sun-beds around the pools and the beach, and never a problem getting three beds together. Buffet breakfast, with an option to order from a menu too

You can really relax in this hotel, with a choice of pools, sun lounger locations, a poolside bar, spa and gym

while you may think that the hotel is a little secluded, you can get a bus outside the hotel into the Kos Town and rent whatever you want, such as cars, buggies and pushbikes (i recommend the electric bikes) from a local shop, who will deliver and collect from the hotel! So everything is at your fingertips to either relax in style or explore the island

Our cases were taken from us and we were driven in a little buggy to what we thought was our room, only to discover that we had been upgraded due to availability on the exact dates we were staying

The apartment was simply amazing, furnished with the very best and sparkling clean, and came with a private pool overlooking the beach

Every small touch showed genuine care for guests, making the stay feel personal and truly special. The atmosphere was calm, elegant, and relaxing, exactly what you hope for when traveling

Just returned home from this lovely little place. The most stunning grounds and the sea so blue. The pools are lovely and quiet and not a sunbed war in sight. Staff are so lovely and very accomadating

There is a bus just outside reception to take you into Kardamena, which is a must. No good for kids, they would be bored unless they are very little, and just happy with pools and the sea

If I could give more stars I would , I can not fault this hotel , it's like it's run by a family , so clean all staff are excellent, they try to learn your names , there all super friendly ,food is supper, different every day , good choice , the rooms cleaned everyday , towels fresh , would defo go back , in fact we started looking for next year , Hope it does not change Many thanks

If there was a higher score we’d rate it higher,the hotel was lovely,food great,rooms,great comfortable and clean. A nice quiet location but a bus stop at the entrance takes you to kardamena for €2

The room was spacious, and although not full of features, it suited us perfectly. We stayed half board and food quantity was not lots, like some hotels, but for sure made up for in quality

At the beginning they are sometimes stones, away from the shore the sand. The beach is every morning clean

The entire staff, right down to the housekeepers, is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is spotlessly clean you feel comfortable and safe

There was some confusion with the booking when we first arrived, but it was swiftly resolved by Maria. After a welcome drink we were taken to our room which was spacious, clean, comfortable with beautiful views

The food was great, the staff were great, the other holidayers were great. A holiday to remember for sure. A big shout out to Mya, Abdulla and Christina who were all amazing at the reception bar and pool bar

There is also an indoor pool which is heated but adult only and a gym. Food and drink Great choice of food which is alternated with every meal so there is something for everyone

A live food section which offers different options but all the food is well cooked and compared to other all inclusive resorts is very good. Staff in the restaurant are great and clear your table very quickly

Spa treatment, breath of Aegeo. Carlos was extremely good at explaining the treatment and had excellent knowledge and experience. Thank you for my treatment and for making me very happy and relaxed today

Pools Lots of pools for all ages, they are cold but I am a wimp and I can still get in them! Plenty of sunbeds all with parasols and all close to the bar, toilets and restaurant

Entertainment A wide variety of activities for all age groups throughout the day and night. The holiday village staff are amazing and work so hard to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves

There is also some specialty restaurants which are very nice too. There is a wide range of all inclusive drinks plus a pizza, sandwich and ice cream area which you can help yourself to

The highlight of our stay was definitely the evening bar staff!!! Michael and Georgia deserve a special mention, always friendly, engaging, and full of energy, they made our nights truly enjoyable and added a personal touch that made us feel at home

The hotel's central location is a major advantage. It's a new and comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. My family and I also gave it top marks for cleanliness

The housekeeping team are excellent ! Happy hour in the evening at the Pool side bar is easily affordable and a lovely end to any evening

The people are amazing, so kind and as we dutchies say gezellig! Everyone was kind and helpful but our favorite was Michael he has the power to brighten any day! Rooms are clean and have everything you need

Everyone went above and beyond every day. Kos has over 10 miles of dedicated bike lanes. You can coordinate bike rentals at the hotel. The beach across the street for the guests was wonderful and warm

Elena, Katerina and Fokion at the front at night were always willing to offer their experience on recommendations to do. They were always a warm gesture in the evening. If I forgot anyone, I apologize

Alexandra, Adriana, Atea and Michael were always willing and able to make the breakfast experience so wonderful. A great assortment of eggs, meats, breads, desserts and coffee selections were amazing

Incredibly convenient beach access right next to the hotel. Breakfast has an excellent variety of dishes and is great value for its price point. Staff was helpful throughout the stay and the room was cleaned every day

From the hotel to the other end of the bay where there are a few more bars and restaurants is a good walk of about twenty mins if you are slow , walking on the sea front there is not for the disabled choose the main road

Breakfast was plenty full , loads of choice , ok you have to wait for the toaster , another one would make it easier but it is Greece and that’s fine ! I love Kefalos it’s quiet, peaceful, no rowdy gangs, just good restaurants and a few good bars nearby

All the staff in hotel were pleasant, the young man on reception tried his best to understand me but I guess he is learning but non the less he was very nice

There are sun beds belonging to the hotel just down a few steep steps, never crowded always got some with like minded book worms

The restaurant’s food is outstanding and with beautiful unencumbered views of the Egean sea and of Turkey on the background. The restaurant’s live music is sophisticated and romantic, but can disrupt early sleepers

We liked the beach with sunbeds both on the sand and in the natural shade on the grass under pine trees. We didn't use the swimming pool, beach bar, or the massage service, but other people enjoyed it

Compared to reviews from previous years, the WiFi was available everywhere (and I think even on the beach) and the room air condition was free this year

A small hotel with a calm atmosphere. The quality is slightly above the Greek 3-star standard. Everything is clean and quite working. Food is not hedonistic, but it is fresh and varies every day

every 45 minutes and it stops just in front of the hotel. Since the packed drinking water is quite expensive in the hotel, a small shopping trip pays of. The staff is friendly and helpful

Since all rooms are double rooms, you will hardly ever encounter families with small children here. The nearest shop is 2 km away, but you can use a bus going to the Kos town approx
