Hotels on first line in Kos

They smile and you feel very welcome, despite they may be very tired. Sunbeds are always avaliable, but the beach needs to be cleaned regularly

The rooms are basic but comfortable and have ample space and all the things you would need to make you stay relaxed and content, comfortable beds, fabulous shower and big balcony, the TV didn’t have many English channels but we wasn’t there to do that

Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful… be prepared to not have “English Grub” as you are in Greece 🇬🇷 after all!!! Lots of snacks and drinks through the day in between meal times, I have a very fussy 14year old - happy to report she did not starve and always found something! The pool is freshwater and was quite chilly to initially get in, but once that part is over it’s refreshing and a great way...

What an amazing week my daughter and I had!! The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and safe… right across from the beach where there are gorgeous sunsets and you can see across to Turkey 🇹🇷 Can also get a boat over from Kos town which is about 40minutes walk, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel or taxis

The entertainment team were always dancing and great with kids, lots of activities throughout the day (even end of season which is when we went) and also at night

The rooms and pool area are really nice though, although there are signs everywhere asking people not to reserve sun beds, but the staff don't do anything about people that do, so you can look at the pool, and every bed has a towel on it but no one sat there, and it's like the it the whole day

Kitchenette well equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave. Lovely big pool with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Beach 5 min walk, supermarket across the road

I stayed in 1 bedroom apartment. Had a fridge, hob top, kettle and utensils etc. There is a balcony off the bedroom. Table & chairs & washing line. Large swimming pool which was very clean

They have sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. Have a poolside bar, food was very nice and prices are good. Good choice of breakfast on buffet. Short walk to the beach, supermarket and other restaurants

Good choice for breakfast which was always being replenished and tables cleaned. Always plenty of sunbeds at the pool, all times of day with large clean pool

Lovely place to stay, very safe and manager dimitris went over and above to help us with queries and room accomodation. Pool is fantastic, pool bar food was nice

It's within walking distance of a lovely beach with sports activities and store closeby

Nice Hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfast, the beach was very nice, all in all, everything you expect from a hotel in this price class. The only silly thing was, that you had to pay extra for the air condition

stayed at the mitsis blue domes hotel. 4 of us walked into kardamena about 3 times in the week. we stopped at mammis beach hotel for drinks because its about half way between blue domes and kardamena

Nice bar area close to the pool which served very nice food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas for everyone. Literally a few footsteps from the beach/sea

In quiet location next to beach. About 30 minutes walk into the centre of kardamena. There is a local bus service that stops tight outside the hotel that runs to/from centre of Kardamena - 2 euros

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. It's a perfect hotel for a peaceful holiday, it's so close to the sea and has amazing views of the local area. The room was clean and had everything we needed

The staff at Mammis Beach were so friendly and helpful, they even helped to get a big bug out of the room for us!! We loved our stay here and hope to be back again

Balcony room does provide an amazing view of the Ageon sea, balcony are is a bit small, as the aircon unit occupies a part of it, lovely none the less

Kettle and normal size fridge in the room, but you're asked not to eat and drink in the hotel room as they have a pool bar, although it wasn't open in the beginning of May. Nice swimming pool and also a paddling pool

Great family welcome. Clean rooms with several sheet and towel changes in the week. Beside restaurants bars and supermarket and a very shirt walk to the beach. A lovely spot and I totally recommend staying here

Great pool and location is a very short walk to the beach (down a footpath to the left of the building and a few yards down the road), here is is a great supermarket and many tavernas and the long and nice beach

Great family-run hotel with pool, pool bar and lounge bar. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. 90% of the guests are repeat customers and that says it all. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Maybe we are just picky with food as we wanted to eat Greek food, seafood and nice veg but the buffet doesn't really offer it

We had to find places to eat near the hotel as the food was really not nice. It's bland, barely warm and we were not ecstatic about eating chips every evening, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, limp pasta

Irene on reception is one of the best hotel employees on the planet. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and a makes an effort that shows she really cares. Had a beer in the bar and it was warm

- Our room had only 1 power outlet for us to charge our phones etc - Shower head in the room was broken - The hotel needs renovating, it is dated and would really benefit from bringing it to the 21st century Not a plus nor a minus, just an FYI - the clientele of the hotel is quite mature

Great folks at the reception desk but ultimately I would pass on staying here again. The hotel is very clean, a bit dated, but the beds are not very comfortable and a few issues with the room

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest, I had open expectations. I knew there was no pool, but planned going to the beach most days

Beach:
Several beaches are within a 5–10 minute walk, but I’d recommend going a bit further if you want nicer ones

Hotel:
The hotel is older, but everything worked fine. The location is okay, but if you plan to go to Kos Town daily, you’ll probably need a bike or some other transport, as it’s about a 20–30 minute walk

The room was always clean, breakfast did its job (nothing special but enough to start the day), and the staff was generally helpful – though it’s true they could be a bit friendlier

Since the room was on the ground floor, it would have been nice to have net curtains – otherwise, you either had the blackout curtains fully closed, or everyone could see inside

It can be inconvenient, but since this is well-known in advance, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. Despite having a room close to the reception, the WiFi wasn’t always reliable

The room was evacuated and nicely decorated. Both the room and the swimming pool were very clean. The bar has good prices and the breakfast is very tasty. The staff were extremely polite and helpful

Such a fantastic space, people, tastefully designed - reminding me of a big garden with the buildings beautifully arranged … and a good size pool as well

The bar is well stocked and they also serve lovely light meals from the bar. Breakfast is good with a wide choice of food. It's close to town where there are many restaurants, bars and shops

The location is excellent - for anything and everything you might wish to do

Great apartments on a small complex. The staff are helpful and can't do enough for you. The apartments all have a balcony or terrace and are situated within lovely flower laden courtyards

Location We had bicycles, which was ideal — although you could walk everywhere, we just preferred bikes. The hotel is right behind the city centre. Walking to the city took us 5 minutes, same with the beach

The hotel was great! Had an amazing time here in Kos. Extra shoutout towards Stefanos! A hard worker, very polite, and made me feel at home 😀 Made me want to come back to the hotel... probably next year!

Clean rooms, kind stuff and at the heart of the town for a reasonable price

The location is also not too busy; the only thing we heard were a few cars passing by, and that’s it. Very nice location-wise, I must say. Room and hotel The room we stayed in was clean, cool, and nicely decorated

When my girlfriend and I were about to go back home, we thought she had lost her ID, and the front office employee immediately offered to call the restaurant we had visited to make sure it wasn’t there

They clean the rooms every day if you want and change your towels. The air conditioning was a real lifesaver during the hot days — it kept our room cool and stopped us from sweating all the time

Great hotel, great service, tasty and fresh food, nice pool, but the best thing thing is the staff. We have never experienced such friendly employees who are really interested in guests

I am one day at home feeling homesick to Palm Beach Hotel. A real recommendation if you are looking for a peacefull good hotel. I fell in love with the Bougainvillea at the beautiful pool

The Palm Beach hotel was a breath of fresh air! The bed was very soft and pleasant, allowing us to get a great night sleep! The facilities are great too and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

Just returned home from this lovely little place. The most stunning grounds and the sea so blue. The pools are lovely and quiet and not a sunbed war in sight. Staff are so lovely and very accomadating

There is a bus just outside reception to take you into Kardamena, which is a must. No good for kids, they would be bored unless they are very little, and just happy with pools and the sea

There is no entertainment only greek night on a Thursday. It's all about relaxation and chilling here. Breakfast was basic, but adequate. Didn't have dinner ate out every day

Greek night buffet was fun with a traditional dance performance then the staff dancing along with the guests! A relaxing pool area with comfortable sunbeds were ideal to soak up the sunshine

Breakfast and evening meals were delicious; buffet style with plenty of choice. €3 euros for two sunbeds plus a soft drink

Nice clean room, good food but most of all very friendly staff, very helpfull, we felt very welcom. We arrived around noon, were directed to the room and told we could get some food in their garden- restaurant

this family-run hotel is like a home away from home. We felt very comfortable during our stay and everything was made possible to accommodate our needs

And oh if you won't go for the beach,please visit Kefalos for the food!! It is so very good. There were a few mishaps with room cleaning. One day they forgot our towels and the next the bed linen

For example, we were upgraded to a sea-view room because the hotelmanager said it was available and thought we would like it (we LOVED it!). The staff is so very, very nice

Great location very near the beach & across the road from market. You’d probably want a rental car for exploring the island, but you could be fine without as well, as there’s a pool as well

Just had a lovely holiday in the Akti. Smaller room than we have normally had but we only slept there. The location, staff and beach over the road are fab. The breakfast is all you need and the snack bar food gorgeous

My girlfriend and I stayed at Akti Dimis for 5 days. We had a wonderful time there. The airport ist only 20 minutes by taxi. The beach was the most beautiful i have ever seen and right at the hotel

Fantastic holiday what a lovely place to stay. clean well kept complex friendly staff. Theres a lovely bar and pool snack bar that server good food. theres is a shop bike hire and bar next door

If you are seeking for the original greek hospitality this is the place! The rooms are very nice and clean. You are provided with everything you need: clean sheets every two days and extra towels for the beach 🏖️

This is exactly what we were looking for and if you're looking for a self service type of accommodation, this is probably the best on Kos when you factor in the private beach, distance to dining, the airport and other attractions

A small hotel just by the sea(kind of private beach), five minutes drive to Kardamaina, spacious and comfortable room (the studio) includes coffee machine and good quality bed linens and towels:)

His recommendations for things to do and dining were aligned with what I had previously researched, so it was a nice confirmation! The hotel itself has a very tranquil setting and all of the guests kept to themselves

It is a rare place across Europe where you have your private beach. You won't need any parasols because there are huge trees just on the beach. The rooms are expressly spacious and there are enough equipments to cook

Literally right next to the beach, it's a 30 second walk there and the hotel has sun beds out around some of the trees just in front of the beach. The room is spacious with air conditioning and everything we want
