Our cases were taken from us and we were driven in a little buggy to what we thought was our room, only to discover that we had been upgraded due to availability on the exact dates we were staying

The apartment was simply amazing, furnished with the very best and sparkling clean, and came with a private pool overlooking the beach

My husband and I visited Kos for the first time last year in September to attend a relatives wedding. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had booked something special

The highlight of our stay was definitely the evening bar staff!!! Michael and Georgia deserve a special mention, always friendly, engaging, and full of energy, they made our nights truly enjoyable and added a personal touch that made us feel at home

The hotel's central location is a major advantage. It's a new and comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. My family and I also gave it top marks for cleanliness

The housekeeping team are excellent ! Happy hour in the evening at the Pool side bar is easily affordable and a lovely end to any evening

The people are amazing, so kind and as we dutchies say gezellig! Everyone was kind and helpful but our favorite was Michael he has the power to brighten any day! Rooms are clean and have everything you need

The breakfast offers a variety of options that will make you feel like you're back home. Families can also choose this hotel with peace of mind. I'll definitely book this place again for my next vacation

I felt very full up by the end of the holiday. The pools are amazing, chilly, but amazing. We found some more secluded pools in the satellite area. The entertainment was not to our taste

We took our daughters (21 and 32) son-in-law and two grandchildren to the blue Lagoon resort hotel from 27 August to 7 September 2025. Our grandchildren are aged 4 years and 18 months

Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel has been designed in the Mitsis natural theme but structured with so many comfortable nooks and pathways. Filled with lush sofas, flowers and water features

Clean rooms, perfect location, delicious and sufficient food, great sea and pool

Best cocktails are in the lobby bar, do not recommend beach bar, drinks are watered down. Hotel is child friendly with good selection of multiple food options from street food to more healthy ones - smoothies, salads

Pools are not heated if you’re going out of high season, seaside is great. Would recommend booking brunch to enjoy lovely meal with a great view

Every member of staff has been polite and friendly. Food extra fresh and options are plenty. The healthy corner provides salads, fruit and fresh juices which is perfect for warmer days

Everything is replenished often and staff are always happy to support with dietary questions (there is also a nutritionist on site that can help!) All the bars provide great variety particularly the Island pool bar

We had a good week eventhough it was the end of the season. We liked the sports, pools, the food and the service. We had two twin beds which was very sad and the room in general was small. Would recommend though.

Virus prevention is present in the background and absolutely not disturbing! The hotel is remembering guests even after 5 years! I like to walk the long beach every day (multiple km !), take a bath in the sea to cool down

We are writing this review on our last day at the hotel. Beginning from the smallest detail, everything was carefully thought-out. We felt the luxury experience in every aspect of our stay

From the newly-renovated rooms, restaurant layout, quality of the equipment, attentivenese of the staff to the cleanliness of the every inch of the facility including pools, it was the best hotel we have ever stayed

The facilities are top-notch, and I was thrilled to see the new check-out lounge and showers—such a great touch for guests. I even got a lovely room upgrade with stunning sea views, which made the stay even more special

Everything from dining to leisure and entertainment were perfect plenty of choices to eat and relax or swim we were always able to get one of the many many sunbeds gueste did not need to reserve with towels as Dawn breaks as many other hotels we stayed at did

The beach was sandy, loads of sunbeds and it was easy to swim in the sea. Really hard working, courteous and helpful staff throughout - thank you all. It seemed a really well managed hotel to us

A very pleasant hotel for families with children. Great pools and a large, two-level paddling pool. Unfortunately, the main restaurant is very crowded during peak season

A large pool with not overwhelming entertainment and a separate adults only pool was a great luxury to have (wish smokers were corralled into a smoking area though)

Just returned on 15 October after 8 day stay our third visit to Kos always stayed at Atlantica hotels this is first time at Beach resort but far the best we usually go Adults only but the children were all well behaved so was not a problem on arrival George the hotel manager booked us in and treated us really special cannot thank him enough what a lovely human being he is

This is the first time in Greece that we had a Sandy beach so was perfect for us. I would like to give thanks to the 3 piece rock band we were priveleged to watch the lead guitarist was up there with the best

The hotel had a room dedicated for leaving baggage and this facility also had showers and changing area which was perfect as we had to check out of our room on our last day at 11am but was not being collected until 8pm which meant we could still use the pool

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Two huge swimming pools and Hotel is right on the beach. We had the half board which included breakfast and dinner. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the center of town

The Town of Kos is very bicycle friendly. There are bike lanes from the hotel to the center of town. One can rent bikes directly in front of the hotel

The experience there was great. The hotel has everything you could need or want. A beach, pool, bars with free alcoholic drinks, tasty food, and a kind reception. The manager himself was very helpful and professional

Free table tennis and tennis were a nice touch that delighted me. The only downside was the rooms and some parts of the hotel which were visually old. A proper renovation would be suitable

proper 4* hotel, well maintained, good facilities easy to access from Kos Port (bus stops right outside & runs 3/4hourly (except 2-4pm)

The rooms are well laid-out and comfortable and are thoroughly cleaned and re-stocked every day. The pools are excellent and never felt over- crowded and the pool-side drinks service was a wonderful touch

The hotel is gorgeous. Quiet and very well maintained. The food was excellent in variety and cooked with passion. Had a pool room which was out of this world.

The other hotel pools are also not heated. You do get use of the Spa pool downstairs where The Spa is located

Around the resort itself there were plenty of spaces to relax whether by the pool or just enjoying the views, and everything felt well looked after

We have a five month old baby and we couldn’t use the pool it’s was far to cold we wouldn’t book this room type again because of this reason huge huge shame! The food in the main restaurant was fantastic, plenty of choice for breakfast lunch & evening meal’s, we were all inclusive drinks were fantastic, brilliant choice of cocktails ( you download the app and get a code on arrival so you can order...

In short: Pros: - Rooms were lovely and kept clean - Good selection at the buffet - Staff were friendly Cons: - It’s a game of luck to get a ‘ Renovated/ Nice’ room and you might be left disappointed - Not the right place if you don’t like buffet - Could do with a bit more staff interaction sometimes felt like the hotel lacked personality

We recently stayed at the hotel in September and initially were very disappointed with our room (418). It was dated and grubby and not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber

Been here twice now, and it is good. The rooms are spacious, and the pools are clean. Since my first visit in 2018, the food and drink has gone downhill. The beers and cocktails available tasted very poor.

All pools are in full sunlight for most of the day, very little shade for children or non sun worshipers. Sun loungers are taken very early and limited fixed parasols

Had a holiday and family wedding at the hotel, wedding coordinator Margherita was amazing. Very clean hotel, great food in buffet restaurant. Long walk to the room but well lit and good walkways

Some stains could be easily cleaned with right products and some effort. The food is good, I always find something, however, sometimes it did not look so nice. All in all I had a very good and comfortable stay!

Large pool area, no race for beds so it feels like you don't have to rush out in the mornings. Drinks are OK, no premium drinks in all inclusive but you can pay for these

The Hotel area is very beautyful. The size of the room, especially the bathroom, is perfect. I love the free safe as well as the electronic handling in connection with the cleaning service

The only object of criticism is that the children's pool does not have a canopy so that children can play at least in partial shade, the children are in the open sun, and this is unpleasant

Since the umbrellas by the pool are small, there is no shade, and the playground can be equipped with triangular rags (solar sails)

Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars

Garden areas beautiful and balconies on apartment blocks very spacious and sheltered from sun

Gaia itself is a bit out of the way but there's very good buses that run from hotel reception that can take you to Kos town and that costs €3

In the beginning of the resort (the kids swimming pool) there is a very bad smell( I don't know how people stay there). If you are a sea lover than if you are lucky and have a room close to the sea than it's OK

Pools Three pools, one for kids, one deeper, just one with music. Kid says the best swimming pool he has ever been to. Garden Place is very green and well-kept, beautiful

The staff is welcoming, friendly, attentive, charges with a positive mood! Rooms are cleaned, towels and linen are changed daily. Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel, even on the beach!!! Thanks to all hotel staff!!!

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at the hotel. We were a family of five spread over two rooms. We were bought a welcome drink on arrival, which was very pleasant

The food was good quality and well set out, the dining area was very beautiful compared to other buffet restaurants that we have been to. The coffee service and clearing up was very slow, which did let it down slightly

Our bags were also taken straight to the room via a golf buggy, which was a nice touch and something that we’ve only experienced in the Caribbean

The second room was much better, there was no unpleasant smell and the view from the balcony was much improved. We had bed and breakfast only , as we like to eat out every day at the local restaurants

We used the kids club most days, this was okay, although not the best. We felt that the hotel should have provided more toys, for the children

Our towels weren’t always changed, our robes would be taken and not replaced, and our mini bar was fully replenished maybe twice- not the end of the world but not what you expect in a 5 star hotel

So I’ll start with what was great… the pools are beautiful, we pretty much went to the two main infinity pools everyday, we got there at 8 every day to get sun beds and they go FAST

It’s difficult to get a spot by the infinity pools but you either need to get there early, or around lunch time when people have gone to get food

I also love how they remove towels when people leave their sun beds for over 40 minutes. The pizza and drinks at the bar here also great. Staff over all were amazing super friendly and helpful

The unlimited pizza was one of the best parts!!! The pizza is made infront of you and it is so fresh and delicious, we often had it by the pool instead of going to lunch

The man who took pool drink orders was absolutely amazing and made our trip! He made sure everyone always had a drink and was so kind and friendly

A special mention goes to Vasiliana and Spyros at the pool, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and made our days by the pool extra relaxing and fun for both adults and kids

Although I did used to find the management team coming to find us at our sunbeds slightly unnerving as they ALWAYS know where you are. Everything for families is fantastic! Kids clubs, entertainment etc

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful resort back in September and we absolutely loved it. If you want luxury, a relaxing experience and excellent customer service then this spot is definitely for you

We visited Ikos Aria in September with my wife. The resort is at a superb location on the beach approximately 15 minutes from the airport. Easy to find as we rented a car from there

Restaurant service throughout the stay was also slower than expected, with meals frequently taking a long time to arrive and at one stage taking over 25 mins to be seated despite being on time and with three small hungry, tired children it was poor

We had booked this holiday with jet2 and had private transfers but didn’t want take car seats and have them in our room all holiday so decided to organise an Ikos transfer which we paid for in addition to the cost of our holiday

It’s an absolutely gorgeous hotel! We had a junior suite which was spotlessly clean and had the most amazing views! Sunset from our balcony is something I will never forget! We were brought fresh water and clean towels every day

Food and drinks were plenty and a good choice for everyone. A choice of 3 pools and a 2 minute walk onto the beach. If we were to come back to Kos I wouldn’t not hesitate to stay over again

We visited the water park, Nisyros and also hired a car for a day and did a road trip round the island. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back! Hopefully for a 10 day stay next time rather than 7! ☺️

Ideally located around a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights as a family of 4, room 320! The hotel, staff and facilities were great and would say that they are a 5* hotel

We managed to do 3 excursions (Nicyros Volcanic island, Kos Town and we even went to Bodrum in Turkey). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting beautiful views of the beach front and mountains

There was plenty of choice at meal times and the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people we have ever met! Kardamena is a very short walk away, just 10 mins along the beachfront

Felt like home thanks to the amazing staff! We loved our stay at Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the people who made it unforgettable

This was our twelfth visit to Mitsis Ramira on Kos. And yet again, we had a fantastic holiday. Everything is perfectly organized: beautiful and tidy rooms, excellent cleaning every day, and fresh towels every day

The buffet restaurant was very good with a great choice of dishes and the AL a carte restaurant meals were delicious. The pool and beach areas were comfortable although the pool was a little cold

Miltiadis at the main pool took such great care of us – always with a warm smile and perfect attention to detail. Room service was fast, friendly, and made relaxing in our room even better

The food is delicious, as are the drinks served all day at the Main Bar, Pool Bar, and Beach Bar. There are two excellent à la carte restaurants: the Italian and the Meat Restaurant

Good shuttle bus in to the town. Would not call this resort 5 star but it was nice

Staff: Most were lovely, didn’t have a great experience with one of the managers who made us feel as if we were a nuisance when we told her about some of our issues, one of the bar staff was really rude and always miserable, almost grunted when you spoke to him! One member of the animation team was really inappropriate, very full on with the husbands and didn’t get the hint when you wanted to be left...

Nice resort food was good with plenty of choice drinks were ok. Entertainment in adults only bar was shocking. Double room was nice but very small. Family rooms around the pool were big but very noisy

It took me a considerable amount of thought before writing this review…I don’t normally wish to give bad reviews as I know how much businesses are struggling at the moment, but wanted to provide people with a balanced opinion

There is a bus that runs into the local town every hour which is great but wouldn’t stay at the hotel again as we like to be able to walk to places. Summary: Ok, not worth the money though and wouldn’t return

The rest of the animation team were great and put in a lot of effort. Location: Not great if you like to explore, only one shop within walking distance

Stayed here for 10 nights in bungalow 77 with a shared swimming pool. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the main resort of Kardanena where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful promenade

All other times need to go to the main bar or pool bar. Snacks were OK but not much on offer at the pool bar more available at the separate taverna

The hotel is extremely clean everywhere and has a large amphitheatre for entertainment, small shop, spa, outside snack bar and pool bar

Pool bar great drinks , good animation team. Cons Restaurant food had a good choice , but food was never hot was only ever Luke warm. Most staff were polite there was two reception staff who were extremely rude

The food choice and quality was the best I have ever had on any holiday, everything you could think of was on offer including Qyail, rabbit, octopus, several different fish and meats every evening

Fresh pizza made on site, meat and fish cooked in front of you absolutely loved it. Wine, lager and soft drinks available on tap during all meal services but coffee machine only open at breakfast

The hotel also has a swimming pool, but we didn't get a chance to use it during our visit, so I can't comment on that amenity

Rooftop pool is nothing fancy, but nice to have

We found it incredibly convenient to have so many options within a few minutes' walk. The bustling town center is also just a short 5-10 minute stroll away, making it effortless to explore the area's sights and sounds

They were extremely attentive and worked quickly to resolve the problem, which we greatly appreciated. Their professionalism and genuine concern for our comfort were a testament to their excellent customer service

This perfect location meant we spent less time traveling and more time enjoying our vacation. The hotel itself was great, particularly when it came to cleanliness and comfort
