Hotels on first line in Kos

My family stayed at the hotel next door; the Pantheon View. Our hotel didn’t have food due to the families splitting the hotel into two (Pantheon View - bar, hotel, Pantheon - restaurant, hotel)

Now with their new addition of the restaurant dining view, overlooking the sea and giving you a cooler location to eat. The drink and food menu’s are just as we’d have liked

Despite being two hotels, you can use either side of the bars and seating areas. Allowing you to mix up the holiday vibe

The pool is shared and has a really good amount of sun beds, 10 or so in complete shade (all day) and 20-30 other sun-beds with shared parasols or complete sun (for the guests who sunbathe all day)

The views are incredible all round the hotel, no matter where you are stood, you have a high rise view of the sea and surrounding islands, including from your balcony

Very beautiful family run hotel. We did not have a reservation but the owner was kind enough to give us his time and help us find the room even tho it was very late. Rooms are beautiful and clean

The location is perfect – about 10 minutes to both the old town and Lambi Beach, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. It's a family-run business that really makes you feel at home

It's above expectations! Definitely recommended to go, you are in Kos town so everything is within walking distance

Fantastic value for money! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spotless

There is also a complimentary breakfast. You should not look any further

We only stayed for a couple of nights so the room didn't need to be cleaned so not an issue like in other reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful, there's a great little supermarket close by too, handy for little bits

Air conditioner was not working properly but since we only stayed for one night we didn't bother to do something. The location of the hotel is really good, close to the beaches and city center

The breakfast is also good, it’s decent and fresh with a cheap price added to your room but definitely worths it because you’ll spend much more money if you want to have the same breakfast anywhere else on the island

The review is based on the category and the prices of the hotel. We stayed at a deluxe room for 7 days with breakfast. Cleaning 10/10 We were informed that the cleaning is made upon request to the reception

Rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with working AC and a lovely little balcony. There was also a fridge in the room. Given the high prices generally in Kos, the room was good value

The review is based on hotels within the price range. The room was well maintained, looks like it was freshly painted. Everything was very clean, it had air conditioning and a balcony

The beds are comfortable and clean with the best pillows for a good night's sleep. There is a snack bar with very reasonable drinks and lunch options. The pool area is clean with plenty of sunbeds and a large deep pool

The pool is loveley but never many people using it with always sunbeds available

This is a really relaxing laid back hotel, great views of the beach and chapel, very comfy beds and very clean. The staff a friendly and chatty, the food is lovely and plentiful with drinks in a chilled glass

Prices are good except for the sunloungers and umberella on the beach and they tend to charge for 2 + an umberella even if your on your own and dont want the parasol !

I have to say Chrisoula did her best to make things better but the fact is that this hotel needs desperately upgrading a lot and I said this so no surprise and the family know this but alas I feel this won’t happen which is a shame as it is potentially very good with money spent and it is in a good spot with a nice pool and surroundings

But we went there every day for lunch and drinks ! Chris and her son nic were so helpful Looked forward to seeing them again ! If ever this hotel comes up as a package we will definitely stay there! Every thing about it was good location right on the beach 🏖️ it was very clean ! Food good massive portions

Just back from a 5 night stay. Excellent sevice and very clean hotel. Rooms cleaned daily, towels every 2 days. Fridge and kettle, air-conditioning on request for a fee and safe. Bar snacks spot on and alcohol

We had initially arrived at the hotel at 2am, tired and hungry from travelling, and the receptionist had offered to kindly help us out by ordering some tasty food to the hotel

The location of the hotel is amazing because you are very close to the town centre and you have 3 markets that are very close to the hotel

Very friendly staff and a great family establishment. The cleaners tidied our rooms daily and made sure we had fresh towels to use

The Personnel was very nice, the manager of the hotel Dimitris is a really nice person and also other personnel is very helpful

Great food, excellent service. The staff is warm and welcoming. The view from the tables makes Sydney the best place to grab your lunch, dinner or favourite drink. 💯 recommend!

Easily the best meals we had in Kefalos. The service was superb and the food really was something else. Both the grilled Octopus (with bacon jam) and Vegan Burger were some of best food we have ever eaten

Came twice during our week to Kos, amazing cocktails but on the slightly higher side for Kefalos but very very good. Had the buffalo burger both times and quiet possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had

Sydney bar & grill was just fantastic. The food was amazing the service and staff are so friendly and even got to use the shishas which was a nice treat indeed! Amazing music choices too

I highly recommend this bar/restaurant for a night out. You can even stay there which i found out on my last evening of the holiday

If you are seeking for the original greek hospitality this is the place! The rooms are very nice and clean. You are provided with everything you need: clean sheets every two days and extra towels for the beach 🏖️

I love the place! Great hosts, delicious breakfast, quiet location aybe not the first line from shoreline though no cars at night) and everything you may need for a good price

The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming

It's a family business and you feel instantly the warmth and hospitality, something you can not experience at the big fancy hotels

It's quiet and suitable for families with or without children. The breakfast buffet has a big variety for everyone's taste

Myself and my fiance stayed here for 10 nights. The food was really nice despite reviews and all of the staff were so friendly. About a 25/30 minute walk from the Kos town, so not ridiculously out of the way, but quiet

The bar was always open though everyday and night with music. Even the reception staff were so nice and welcoming. This hotel is not just 5 stars to us but 100. Fantastic hotel and holiday and cannot wait to return

We got a penalty ticket (completely unrelated to the hotel) and the staff were so helpful with helping us to translate it, how we can pay it and showing us where on Google maps

They’re closing for the season today, but not once did we feel rushed out of the hotel

Although the hotel is rated at 3 star, we found the hotel to be fantastic. The superior room was very clean and spacious with a good balcony and view of the sea

The bathroom was even smaller. Feet in the shower cubicle when you sat on the toilet. Two mornings in a row there was no milk at breakfast and the coffee machine was out of order aswell

Wow what can I say, a little piece of heaven on earth. A traditional family run hotel and restaurant at a beach location. Renowned Greek hospitality is ever present. We have never been made to feel more welcome

Nice and big, cleaner was in everyday. Left it spotless for us to get back to. What a lively guy who owns it too. We unfortunately needed up with a poorly child and he couldn't do enough to help us out

Called his family doctor and got him to the hotel for us. The evening meals where lovely too. What more could we of asked for. Would definitely return to this hotel

Having to pay extra for the air conditioning dosnt seem right in this day and age. The staff were friendly enough but hotel felt dated

Breakfast is served in the morning with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and cakes, jams, eggs, Greek yogurt, and so much more. The hotel is peaceful and located steps away from Kefalos Bay

The owners are awesome and make you feel like you’re part of their family. Grandma makes the best breakfast ever! It will be my choice for sure if I would come back in the future!

The room was cleaned everyday and they gave us fresh towels. We had an amazing view directly on the sea. The breakfast was good and homemade always fresh. The owners and the staff are always kind and happy to help

I love coming here every summer it is so hard to have to leave I am always at peace when at Fourtounis

Although we didn't book for breakfast, they provided an electric kettle, cups, mugs, enough water bottles, coffee, and sugar as complimentary in the room, which was enough for our 3-night stay

Exceptional stay! Spotless rooms and an ideal location. Kosta and Eleni were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, making our experience truly memorable. Highly recommend!

The apartments were clean and in a good position for the harbour. Only a 2 minute walk round to the beach area. Loved the sunset in the evening

It is an old 3 star hotel which should be acknowledged. This is reflected in the price. It is well maintoaned and spotlessly clean

Sea view rooms have great views - hotel location is opposite where the boats/ ferries come in. - very small port and no noise

By public bus, anyone can easily travel to Kos town, Tigaki, Kefalos, and even other places, and the public transport is impressive in KOS. We traveled by public transport and enjoyed a lot

The Aircon is extra but well worth it. The room is kept clean and tidy and the girl on reception in the evening is lovely. Over the road is a great pool and bar to get food and drink which I always use

Good clean basic hotel all facilities were good staff friendly owner was very helpful as we were delayed and didn't get there until 130am close to all restaurants and beach supermarket across the road

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Andavis hotel. It was in the perfect location; close to both the airport and the sea

The beach was under 5 minutes walk and the airport was a 10 minute drive away 20 euros in a taxi

This is my third time coming here. Love how basic but clean and well looked after it is. The rooms have everything you need. The bed is comfy and the bathroom has a walk in shower. There is a wardrobe and a fridge

If I was to offer any advice to people who are planning on staying here it would be to bring an extension cable (there was only one plug socket) and to pay for the air conditioning (€8 a day)

The location is absolutely fantastic, with easy access to a beautiful beach. ​The hotel facilities and pools were truly excellent and very well maintained

Pool areas were good, but the reservation of sunbeds by guests was ridiculous, almost every sunbed was reserved by 9 in the morning, even when it's not allowed

The pools are fantastic, the food is delicious with plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere is brilliant. Any help we’ve needed has always been provided without hesitation

Love gaurd at the family pool was by far our favourite she made all the kids feel welcome had a laugh with everyone. Serena was amazing too part of entertainment team, always checking on everyone and making them smile

Pools and slides are great! My 6 years old went on on again and a gain , the slilds crew are polite and realy nice and peitiant to the kids running around them

In the Spa Eleanor got all the knots out of my shoulders! The best massage. Susana in the Spa was so helpful and kind when I wanted to book a suprise for my wife. The animation team are also so hard working and great fun

Food quality was good with some changes throughout our stay (12 nights). There is light entertainment most nights. Free shuttle to beach and back regularly. Public bus to Kos town stops at the Hotel

There were always plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas available, both by the pools and on the beach, which made relaxing effortless

Room: We had a room I think its called Superior with Pool. It has much space and a balcony with direct access to a shared pool

Not only the staff is very friendly, but also many services are inclusive, like a shuttle to the beach

The bar in the hall next to the reception is nice. You can get a drink at the bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and get a tasty snack from pastry shop nearby. There's an arcade right next to the reception

The room though however had a distinct lack of power outlets with the necessity to unplug something to use any personal items. The bathroom has a hair dryer but no other power outlet

Everything is very clean the rooms are large and well-maintained. The pool is also nice and big, and the location of the pool is amazing because you can see a beautiful view

I also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager Mr George who was incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful. His approach to guests definitely elevates the entire establishment and makes the stay even more special

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very well-appointed, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxing. I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness to guests and the professionalism of the staff

The food is very delicious, especially since it’s free, and the drinks are also free. That’s why staying at Kipriotis Panorama Hotel and Suites is really worth it for a vacation

It was our first time going there with my friends, and this hotel is very beautiful. Even though the hotel is already old, it has a vintage charm and is still very beautiful

Don't worry - even the furthest annex is only a minute or two walk from reception and the pool. Our room was very clean and light and was serviced every day with towels changed and the bed made/changed

We were very impressed with the spotless rooms and grounds. Pool area was lovely, with comfy loungers. We found the staff very friendly and they made us feel comfortable

Just returned yesterday from this delightful hotel. It's in a quiet location but you can walk to a local supermarket, car/bike hire and 10 to 15 mins to all the shops, restaurants, bars and beach

Nice chilled bar area and enjoyed having frozen strawberry daquiris. We really enjoyed breakfast every morning. My favourites were the selection of fresh fruits, breads, cakes and honey/jams

The lady who made our eggs was brilliant, and made superb eggs every day. The sun loungers are the most comfortable we’ve ever used at any hotel, and the pool was great

My boyfriend and I stayed one week at the Kipriotis Maris Suites with an all inclusive package. The village was huge and offered a lot of services (restaurant, bar, swimmingpools, minimarket and sunbeds on the beach)

We loved the atmosphere and the peace of this place and we recommend it to couples or families that want to enjoy the sea, the view and the beauty of the coast. Excellent quality-price ratio!

We really appreciated quality of food and drinks (their Tzatziki was the number 1 ) and the type of room. In the evening we could attend several shows even if the entertainment was quite soft

After the second night they moved us back to Maris Suites which we thought was lovely. Rooms were clean, beds had decent mattresses, food was good with lots of variety and plenty of cutlery etc

Staff were friendly and helpful. Towards the end of the stay the hotel gave us a voucher for the terrible experience at the resort to return. That is where the fun has come in

We were booked into the Maris Suites but in the morning of travel we’re told we had been moved to the resort as they had an infestation

We had a lovely stay in the Superior Suite room with sea view. We are a family of three with a five year old child. The room was a lovely size, the staff were fantastic and accommodating

It's a bit of a walk into the town proper, but manageable. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby. Rooftop bar is lovely in the evening. We definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a romantic getaway

The staff on reception and in the restaurant and pool area were excellent. The girls on breakfast worked incredibly hard.

The pool and breakfast were excellent, and I really liked the area. The only downside was that the beach wasn’t very impressive.

We stayed one night as we were catching a ferry in the morning. Very attractive hotel a 10 minute walk to the ferry. Really nice breakfast with a sea view. I'm sure a lovely place for a week holiday.

We enjoyed the wonderful beach just a few steps from the hotel. Very few places produce the childish sadness when it's time to leave. Triton was defntely one of them

The place place where we stayed was an ağartment flat with two bedrooms,two bathrooms, and a big living room with an American kitchen. We spent a lot of time at the balcony, which was as big as a room

Theres also beach essentials, drinks and local souveniers in the market. The beach is literally a few steps away from the hotel, you will be very pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the water

The combination of friendly hotel staff, beautiful hotel by the beautiful beach, full plate of delicious meal 3 times a day, possibility to always get a tasty drink, 17 degrees in the room + silent nights

the pool area is very nice, lovely comfortable sun beds, and is also cleaned as is the actual pool every night

I read through some of the reviews, please ignore the bad ones, I am not sure what the motivation is behind these, but I would say it is questionable, as they include some blatant lies! This is not a 5 star hotel, if that is what you want, pay double or treble to get it

It is a family run business, and the personal touch is very evident, and the owner goes above and beyond to help ensure you enjoy your stay, and he is always available. Lawrie at the bar is lovely, as are all the staff
