Change owners and management now called Afandou Mare. Great value well looked after by the small growing team. May they grow from strength to strength each year. Good luck for the renovations planned for the off season. This site should change the hotel and start afresh with the reviews.

I am wondering what people really want. Yes the hotel is old-fashioned and needs renovation,, in a middle of a not attractive place, and selling food items at crazy prices, but apart from that it is fine for Greek prices and standards. Clean pool open from 10 to 18, a breakfast that is decent and a service polite and smiling.

First time in Rhodes, and it’s a beautiful place to visit. The hotel looks recently renovated (reception, lobby, and restaurant), but the rooms are very small, with no closets and a tiny bathroom. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, near the city’s Elli Beach. It is situated on a quiet street, surrounded by cafés and markets. We spent a wonderful 11 days (in July) at this hotel. The service is good, the food as well, varied. Beautiful enviroment , pool, well-kept yard, and greenery. The rooms are clean and tidy. The organized beach is a bit farther away (especially when going with children), but the city of Rhodes is only 5–6 bus stops away (10–15 minutes) from the hotel. I would definitely come back to Amira.

Filmar has the most helpful, friendly, caring staff. My husband became unwell during our holiday which means we had to look for a place for him to rest when he got discharged from the hospital. Nice hotel typical greek the food was mainly greek but always something for everyone great salads. Absolutely loved staying here for 6 nights. The staff are helpful and inviting always. It's a easy walk into faliraki main square & there's a bus stop for Rhodes about 6 min walk away which is very useful. We absolutely loved our stay at Petrino hotel, Blair was the best housekeeper you could ask for. The breakfast and hospitality were outstanding and made our trip much more special. We really enjoyed our stay at Helga's Paradise! The gardens are beautifully maintained, the rooms are simple but very clean, and cleaned daily. An oasis to feel good in. We were put up here after a booking was made incorrectly. We don't regret it. We felt very comfortable here. If you want to quickly unwind, you should come here. As cat lovers, we were also cuddled by the cats that have been taken in here. Lovely evenings with great conversations and regular guests round off the whole thing.

Small familiar hotel above Afandou. The owner is a very nice person, very friendly and helpful.

Nice City Boutique Hotel with 3 Stars. Really friendly stuff. Only 3 stars for the room because you can see that it is good used, but clean. Perfect location to be near the beach and as well by walking 15 minutes to the old city. Thank you

The staff is amazing, so sweet and helpful - had a room on 1st floor facing back, room is cleaned every day and it has what you need, bed was a bid hard..but..do it for location and staff 👏 Everything is just around the corner from this hotel - beach, restaurants, rent a scooter/quad, short walk to old town

Top location near the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Tidy room. Only problem was the bathroom which was a bit humid with floor not getting properly dried. Overall quite nice hotel.

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Located only 200m from the beach. You can reach the old town very quickly. Location great. The prices are ok. The hotel is clean. I had no problems. Any recommendation to stay!

Our 2nd year in a row staying at Oasis. We (and our friends) definitely came back for a reason! The small intimate feel of the hotel and grounds are much more suitable for those of us that struggle with large and intimidating hotels. There's a friendly and casual vibe, the grounds are a small paradise, cats are an added bonus - this is the second year I'm bringing back a greek rescue from the hotel...

I stayed here on 2 different occasions and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are great, and I enjoyed the food selection which was different every day. The manager and staff are very nice and friendly, especially the bartender at the main bar Sophia. She makes some really nice drinks, and puts on amazing playlists, and is just really nice to talk to. I will definitely come here again. 10/10

Had a beautiful stay here. Food was awesome, staff was very friendly, it was quiet and chill. There’s a store rly close to the hotel which is great and the sea isn’t far away either. What made my stay truly perfect was the barmaid. She’s the cutest. 10/10 would come back again many times

The best hotel on Rhodes! That was how it was described to us on the coach from the airport in 1982 and it still is. My mum and Dad visited once or twice a year for years and the family that owns The hotel as well as the families that own the Old House and Flora's on either side remain great friends to this day

We had a very nice stay here. The location is a good starting point to explore the island. The staff are all very warm, friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit older but the hotel & rooms are kept very clean. The food is delicious and of solid quality. The hotel grounds are also very nice, many guests appreciate all of this and therefore come here annually. We can highly recommend this hotel 😉. Best...

Very romantic place where you can taste greece meals and calm down and relax

I have been traveling for over 20 years, the owners of Helena Christina apartments are some of the most friendly, sociable, nice people I have ever met, a place 100% worth recommending.

A quiet but secluded base from which you can explore the area (20 min to Rhodos-city), fully run by the family who are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Remote, so a rental car is almost a must unless you want to enjoy the tranquillity of the pool and the food. Only three stars and worth it, but don't expect more from the rooms. Beautiful location on the edge of a plateau overlooking Lalyssos...
