Where to stay in Rhodes

Recently returned from 10 days at Rodos Palace. Hotel looked good upon arrival but rooms very disappointing, old and worn. Our room was fairly clean, but my brothers was not. Lots of mould in bathroom.. Cleaners accidentally left our room door open 2 days running, I reported to reception, giving them a chance to improve. Restaurant was a nightmare !! So chaotic and noisy, not a pleasant experience...

Stayed at Rodos Palace for a long weekend with mates, honestly loved it. Rooms were clean and way bigger than I expected, bed was comfy and the AC actually worked (big plus). Beautiful hotel in convenient location. Customer service excellent. Elevators not all working and has to walk down 15 flights of stairs. 1 elevator never worked at all. A/C didn’t work properly. Kept turning off and switch would not turn back on. I believe the switch plate needed to be replaced. Beautiful breeeze of the ocean accommodated for lack of proper a/c.

Stayed there at the of end of October and it was the end of the 2025 season for the staff. The staff tried hard to support everyone. We had very nice barmaids to so so barman. Lovely week in annex building at Akti imperial. Kids literally lived in the main pool, we loved the evening show by the poolside stages, and breakfast buffet at Epicurus restaurant had everything, even freshly made omelets for our picky son. Like all hotels in Rhodes, the quality is high and the prices are quite reasonable. It is just a bit far from the old town. But everything is at your fingertips.

The Junior Suite has a very good layout, which is better than most Sheraton hotels. The service is friendly and decent. The underground parking lot is convenient. The music from the evening performances is a bit loud, but the sound insulation is fine after closing the windows.

It’s a spectacular hotel and our room with a view of the water did not disappoint. Breakfast was fabulous with many options and the staff are all friendly and attentive. All Inclusive hotel with very nice pool area, close to everywhere, the beach, the airport and Rhodes town. Close to the hotel is a lot of gift shops and a good, cheap car rental (Sky Rent a Car). More of a 3 stars than a 4 star. Some aspects are dated, but the public areas, pools, gardens and beach is kept immaculate they take real pride in that, staff are great. Food is a bit below par but has a variety and the drinks are quite poor for an all inclusive unless you like beer. Great location and is ideal for a quiet get away, if you want to explore the island you need to rent a vehicle.

We had booked a bungalow which was great. Close to the pool and restaurant. Lovely area which was well kept and clean.  Service was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner included and the staff were always friendly and chatty.  The beach was just a short walk away and a private area for hotel guests. It was quite rocky however and water not overly clear but still nice to swim in.  The only down side...

Recently stayed at this resort as part of a 10yr anniversary so we had around 30+ of us staying in the hotel. Although prior to arriving there was a lot of liasing with the staff at the hotel it seemed they were a bit overwhelmed with having so many guests from one party. Beautiful, well kept hotel. Staff are always so friendly and helpful, especially Setah in the coffee lounge. Always ready with a lovely smile and very welcoming. Excellent hotel in great location. 5 Star service given by ALL staff - from front of house to waiters, bar staff, cleaners and the unsung hero - the Pool Man. My Delux King room with Balcony faced the pool and sea and was excellent.

Excellent friendly staff, great location if you’re looking for some quiet down time but easy walk into centre of Rhodes. Only a few minor things that didn’t quite meet 5 star- no water fountain in the spa/sauna area. Rooms were good but lack of signage to elevators/stairs. First day was a mystery tour trying to find way from room to exit!
