Reviews
Rooms are a perfect size, bathroom has everything you needed as it has good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash and lotion all included and the shower is excellent.
Proper coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge (extra to get anything in it though and a little over priced.
Beds are very comfy and a choice of pillows.
Pools and pool bars and all pool staff👌🏻👌🏻
What they don’t tell you when you’re booking the holiday is if you’re not staying for more than seven days you can’t book any of the other restaurants so its buffet only..to be fair we found the buffet very good with a wide variety of choice (we only had one afternoon where we weren’t 100% satisfied)
We stayed All inclusive option mainly because we took our little boy. All inclusive doesn’t really mean “All Inclusive” you have to pay extra for silly little things that anywhere else would be included (I’m not going to moan on because on a whole everything was great)..room for a little improvement though I would say.
I would most likely stay again 😊
at any time of the day were able to get a sun bed. Position of the hotel is ideal for visiting Rhodes Town. We will definitely return
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The hotel itself is a stunning blend of luxury and comfort, with beautiful views of the sea that took our breath away. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the all-inclusive buffet. The quality of the food was outstanding, with a diverse selection that catered to all tastes. Every meal felt like a feast, and we were always excited to see what delicious options awaited us. Fresh fruits, delectable pastries, and a variety of international dishes made each dining experience a delight.
In addition to the buffet, we had the opportunity to dine at the hotel’s restaurants, and I must say, the quality was exceptional. Each restaurant offered a unique atmosphere and menu, showcasing local flavors and gourmet dishes that truly impressed us. It was a culinary journey that enhanced our overall experience, making every meal a special occasion.
The staff at Rhodes Bay & Spa went above and beyond to ensure our stay their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel like cherished guests.
In summary, our stay at Rhodes Bay & Spa was nothing short of magical. From the luxurious accommodations to the exquisite dining options, every aspect was top-notch. We left with our hearts full and memories to last a lifetime. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to create unforgettable moments, whether for a honeymoon, birthday, or simply to escape and unwind. Thank you, Rhodes Bay & Spa, for making our trip so special!
Everything is lovely can’t complain!
Clean tidy lovely staff members.
Nice bar to have pre drinks or just to look out onto the sea front. Couldn’t fault anything, the pools are so nice so nice!!
Rooms so nice sea view is a must.
Sunsets are amazing!
Nearby water sports jet skis and paddle boards. Not too far from shops and restaurants also.
We stayed for a week and did not get tired or bored of the same food - there was a big choice for every day.
The room was big enough and clean; they also changed towels everyday. We had the room with the sea view and a balcony which was amazing. The road in front of the hotel might be a bit noisy sometimes, but the windows are soundproof and the air conditioning works really well, so it wasn’t a problem at all (to be fair, this road runs along the entire coast and other hotels were much closer to the road with much less space).
There were always sun beds available everywhere (both beach and pools); 3 pools are big enough to swim and even to play games (like water polo or any ball/raquette game).
You should definitely choose this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday with sun, beach and yummy Mediterranean food. Thanks again to all the staff and hope to see you soon!
Reception was busy almost all time and when we arrived we had issues with bathroom door (couldn't close properly, nor lock) so we went downstairs to ask if they can send someone and there was only one lady there and about 10 people in line, mostly asking to call taxi). Overall pleasant experience but some little things can be improved.
Comfortable bedding, had a forest view suite which was a renovated room.
Close to the beach with free sun beds.
An astonishing smorgasbord of buffet breakfast, note tho that some of the buffet on offer were of low quality (cut meats, cheese, juices etc) but that is something you can expect in a big hotel, rather than a boutique hotel.
Overall a safe choice to be able to enjoy and unwind- not to far from town or airport with car.
Overall highly recommended.
Addressing in depth below key aspects of our stay. As a summary this hotel is beautiful but there were many small instances that let down the experience leaving us to conclude that we overpaid and the service under-delivered.
Firstly a heads up, check-in is a slow and tedious process. It took us over 45 minutes to check in (there was one couple in front of us as we arrived). As we arrived at 2:30am, we were simply not in the mood for the the level of faffing and felt some of the process could have been completed the next day, or at checkout.
The rooms were clean and modern - well presented, comfortable and had a fruit basket/drink on arrival which was appreciated. The sea view is pretty and chairs comfortable in the balcony. It did take us physically handing over dirty plates and cutlery to get these taken after 4 days of leaving dirty dishes on the table. The cleaners were friendly and quick, I think the cleaning process set by the hotel let them down. Bizarrely, there is only one mug per room.
Breakfast had a huge range of offerings, was delicious and the servers were efficient and friendly. I felt these were the best staff in the hotel and a credit to the hotel.
The pool area is crowded and difficult to get a bed in a "good" location, but the beach usually had good availability and has a gorgeous view. There was 0 enforcement of the no bed reservations before 9:30am which was frustrating. We recommend reserving a bed in the adults only pool area before 9am, as everyone else will.
The bars on floor 11 and by the pool made nice drinks (around €10 for most cocktails). The restaurants all serve nice food - Varkorola had the most delicious food whereas the greek taverna was a wonderful experience and good food. The live music was a nice addition, and all singers were talented, although a little loud at times and did result in one of our meals being wrong. One of our party were gluten free and we would have appreciated more offerings on the menu than risotto (as delicious as this was) at the 3 restaurants. At all 3 service was slow and it felt they were perhaps a little understaffed. The portions were also on the smaller side in Varkorola and Oliveto so we were glad to receive the reduced premium price.
The lobby cafe bar was a complete failure for us and so disappointed at the service and quality of drinks. We ordered an oat milk latte which required two corrections (she tried to ice it first, then use normal milk after confirming we wanted oat). The ice chai latte is frankly disgusting and when we brought back to get a new tea bag to infuse more, was rudely told to Google how to make chai tea and that 2 mins was long enough for the "aroma". For the benefit of that cafe server, chai tea should be steeped for a minimum of 3-5mins in hot water before cooled with ice... Not 2 minutes in cold milk. I recommend future guests watch carefully when their drink is made to ensure anyone with lactose intolerance are not accidentally spiked and to order only simple drinks, or use the pool bar which served better hot drinks.
One of the more frustrating aspects of the entire hotel was the gatekeeping of information - you couldn't see menus of the restaurants anywhere but at the restaurants, bookings had to be done via QR code from key lobby locations, the spa prices had to be gotten from a member of staff. There was so much extra effort for guests to get simple information.
Spa is a nice area, the outdoor pool being the highlight and the steam room the disappointment. We do recommend people take advantage of the welcome offer as the spa staff trawl the beach for clientele, and outside breakfast. The massage was fantastic - Maria was excellent.
Overall, the hotel is kept in good shape and had good facilities but frankly the service was not to standard. When interacting with lobby staff, for the most part it felt as though we were an inconvenience. We won't be returning.
