Hotel Thireas in Fira

Overall, the hotel is excellent. It's located in the heart of Fira, just a 7-minute walk from Fira's central bus station, a 5-minute walk from a large supermarket, and a 3-minute walk from a variety of restaurants offering sunset views.
It's a bustling yet quiet place, so even though there are many parties outside at night, the noise isn't a bother.
The breakfast is five-star quality, and sipping coffee while gazing at the Aegean Sea is truly an unforgettable experience.
Although the rooms are small, they are very comfortable and the sleep quality is excellent.
The only minor issue is that the bathroom, due to its structure, can get a little moldy, but it's not a major concern.

The room's location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Fira town, just a 3-4 minute walk away. Contacting the hotel in advance ensured a bellhop would bring your luggage from the shuttle point to your room. The terrace offered a superb spot to watch the sunset, avoiding the crowds on the main street. Secondly, the hotel breakfast was delicious and generously portioned, delivered promptly to the terrace, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful view while savoring your meal. Thirdly, the cave room had two 1.8-meter double beds, perfect for families with children, preventing them from cramped together. The front desk staff provided efficient and high-quality service and tourist information from the moment the booking was made until check-in. Five stars! Excellent value for money, definitely worth staying at!

This hotel is near the center of Fira town, next to the bus terminal, and has convenient transportation to various places on the island. The room was clean and comfortable, but our breakfast was cancelled without reason, saying that there was no one to cook. Although it was the off-season in February, breakfast was included in the hotel fee when booking, so we can't just cancel it. What should we guests do? This needs a bad review! So when traveling to Santorini in the off-season, you need to be careful when choosing a hotel!

The staff were very kind and, since it was the off-season, allowed us to check in at around 10am instead of the 3pm check-in time. They also kept our luggage after we checked out and lent us a charger.

Great location - beautiful views! The rooms are a bit on the small side. With an arched roof so, if you are tall, you'll be bending over a bit.

What an amazing hotel, superb location, brilliant service (thanks John and team), awesome views! Located in the heart of busy Fira, you are a short walk from all the restaurants and bars. It’s therefore not the place to go for a peaceful sunset, but the rooms are very well sound insulated so you won’t be disturbed. We stayed in late September and the weather was great, it was still very busy with 3 to 4 cruise ships a day arriving. However we found it much less crowded than Oia which was mobbed. I just wouldn’t visit in July or August it must be too hot and busy. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough! And make sure you take a Caldera Yacht Cruise while you are there.

Absolutely stunning. We LOVED our stay here. We didn’t even venture away and visit the popular touristy spots because we had everything we needed right here. The view, the breakfast each morning delivered to your room at what time you choose, the sunset, the pool, beautiful spots for photos, walking distance to everything you need. But also, the beautiful young lady on the reception Verisa or Vanessa, was so awesome. She was friendly, helpful, happy, organised and so kind. The staff work so hard lugging everyone’s bags up the stairs every day too. This was such a beautiful place to stay for our honeymoon. Highly recommended

We booked a suite, which was very comfortable for two people. Adding an extra bed for our child made it a bit cramped, but hey, it's cozy when the family is together. The absolute best part was the balcony. Enjoying breakfast in the morning breeze and watching the sunset in the evening, with the jacuzzi always available – if I had to rate it 10 points, the balcony alone would get 5.
